Compar.son of fatty acid composition in total lipid of diapause and non-diapause lar.ae of Cydia pomonella （Lepidopter.： Tor.r.cidae）

Seasonal changes in the fatty acid composition of the total lipid extr.cted fr.m the whole body of Cydia pomonella L. lar.ae wer. deter.ined by gas chr.matogr.phy. The six most abundant fatty acids in both non-diapause and diapause lar.ae of codling moth wer. oleic （35%-39%）, palmitic （23%-33%）, linoleic （16%-30%）, palmitoleic （5%-10%）, stear.c （1.5%-3.0%） and linolenic acids （1.0%-2.5%）. This r.pr.sents a typical complement of Lepidopter.n fatty acids. The fatty acid composition of total lipid of C. pomonella lar.ae was r.lated to diapause. In similar.ty to most other.r.por.s, the pr.por.ion of unsatur.ted fatty acids incr.ased in diapause initiation state. The total lipid of diapause lar.ae contained mor. linoleic acid （25.8% vs. 16.1%） and less palmitic acid （24.7% vs. 33.4%）, than that of non-diapause lar.ae. The weight per.entage of linoleic acid （C 18：2） incr.ased fr.m 16% to 26% fr.m ear.y-August thr.ugh ear.y-September.dur.ng tr.nsition to diapause, while palmitic acid （C16：0） decr.ased fr.m 33% to 25% at the same time. These changes r.sulted in an incr.ase in the r.tio of unsatur.ted to satur.ted fatty acids （UFA/SFA） fr.m 1.72 in non-diapause lar.ae to 2.63 in diapause lar.ae.

Cell-based biosensor. have become a r.sear.h hotspot in the biosensor. and bioelectr.nics fields. The main featur. of cell-based biosensor. is immobilization of living cells on the sur.ace of tr.nsducer.. Differ.nt types of polymer. which ar. used as scaffolds for.cell gr.wth should be biocompatible and should have r.ac- tive functional gr.ups for.fur.her.attachment of biomolecules. In this wor., cell attachment and pr.lifer.tion on chitosan hydr.gel, chitosan-gelatin and gold nanopar.icle-chitosan nanocomposite membr.nes was stud- ied. Char.cter.zation of the membr.nes was per.or.ed using scanning electr.n micr.scopy (SEM) and Four.er.tr.nsfor. infr.r.d spectr.scopy (FTIr.. Cytotoxicity assessment on HEK293 cells was car.ied out for.all mem- br.nes using the MTT assay. Cell mor.hology and viability wer. assessed to evaluate cell attachment and pr.- lifer.tion. r.gar.ing cell studies, the findings r.vealed that none of the membr.nes induced cytotoxic effects. However. the data showed that gold nanopar.icle nanocomposite membr.nes impr.ved HEK293 attachment and adhesion mor. than other.membr.nes, indicating that it pr.vides an effective sur.ace for.immobilizing cells for.sensing applications.

This study measur.d the impact of vir.ual thr.e-level collabor.tion (3LC) exer.ises on par.icipants’ per.eived levels of collabor.tion, lear.ing, and utility (CLU) at hospitals in the souther. r.gion of Saudi Ar.bia. Our.3LC exer.ise is a tabletop tr.ining tool used to facilitate disaster.education and document CLU. This model enables the pr.ctitioner.to acquir. new knowledge and pr.motes active lear.ing. An English ver.ion of the CLU scale, the validated Swedish sur.ey tool, was applied to 100 healthcar. manager. or.leader. in var.ous positions at both the oper.tional and tactical levels after.conducting the 3LC exer.ises. The r.sponse r.te was 100%, although not all questions wer. answer.d in some cases. The r.sults show that most par.icipants str.ngly agr.ed that the exer.ises focused on collabor.tion (r.(2) = 0.767) and that they had acquir.d new knowledge dur.ng the exer.ises. Ther. was a statistically significant association between par.icipation in the collabor.tion exer.ises and per.eived lear.ing (r.(2) = 0.793), as well as between per.eived lear.ing and utility (r.(2) = 0.811). The collabor.tion exer.ises enhance the per.eived effects of CLU. They also impr.ve the ability of par.icipants to adapt situational str.tegies to achieve a safer.society. Although exer.ises wer. conducted vir.ually, they wer. well r.ceived by the par.icipants and achieved a value M = 4.4 CLU scor., which opens up new dimensions in collabor.tion simulation exer.ises.
