Graphene oxide is a promising adsorption ***,it has been difficult to recycle and separate graphene oxide in the *** alleviate this problem,graphene oxide was thermally reduced to produce porous hydrogel which was then functionalized with *** functional groups act as not only adsorption sites but also nucleation sites for in situ crystallization of cobalt-doped zeolitic-imidazolate-framework-8 *** effects of cobalt-doping contents on the physicochemical and adsorption properties of the resulting aerogel were also evaluated by varying the cobalt *** instance,the reduced graphene oxide-polydopamine/50cobalt-zeolitic-imidazolate-framework-8 aerogel exhibited a high surface area of 900 m^(2)·g^(-1)and maintained the structure in water after ten *** as-synthesized aerogels showed an ultrahigh adsorption capacity of 1217±24.35 mg·g^(-1)with a removal efficiency of>99%of lead,as well as excellent adsorption performance toward other heavy metals,such as copper and cadmium with adsorption capacity of 1163±34.91 and 1059±31.77 mg·g^(-1),*** importantly,the lead adsorption stabilized at 1023±20.5 mg·g^(-1)with a removal efficiency of>80%after seven cycles,indicating their potential in heavy metal removal from industrial wastewater.

Tripartite partnership, compared with the bilateral model, is envisioned as an opportunity to foster stronger and more trusting partnerships [1]. However, china has historically been characterized as principally reliant on bilateral engagement in global health [2]. The china-Tanzania cooperation Project on Malaria control was conducted by National Institute of Parasitic Diseases at china cDc and chinese center for Tropical Diseases Research, Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania and funding agencies from 2015 to 2022, with an aim to explore the applicability of chinese experience on malaria control to reduce malaria disease burden in the local context of Tanzania. In the tripartite project funded by the former UK Department for International Development (DFID) and later the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), china's partners were expected to share the extensively parallel practices achieved from the control and elimination of malaria for over 70 years, UK's partners were to deliver resources and design global health strategies, while Tanzanian local staff collaborated with triangular partners to ensure the project implementation [3]. In the project, the trilateral cooperation has transparent management mechanism to ensure the concrete management and implementation of the project [4] (Additional file 1: Figure S1). This Brief is to provide recommendations for china's engagement in global health by distilling the experience from the innovative tripartite partnership of the project.

The cLE （cLVATA3/ESR-related） family of plant polypeptide signaling molecules shares a conserved 14-aminoacid （aa） motif, designated the cLE motif, which recent studies suggest is sufficient for cLE function in vitro. In this study, we report that Arabidopsis cLE proteins can function in a tissue-specific manner and confirm some cLE factors can act through different receptors. Using domain swapping, we show for the first time that the cLE motif likely determines much of the functional tissue-specificity of the proteins in planta. However, we also provide evidence in support of the new view that sequences outside the cLE motif （14 aa） contribute to cLE function and functional specificity in vivo. Additionally, we report that deletion of the putative signal peptide from different cLE proteins completely inactivates cLE function in vivo, whereas exchanging the cLE signal peptides with a conventional signal peptide from a rice glycine-rich cell wall protein also influences cLE function. We thus propose that the cLE motif itself determines its functional tissue-specificity by dic- tating the direct recognition and interaction of each cLE peptide with its optimal receptor（s）, whereas the receptor（s） may be available in a tissue-specific manner. On the other hand, the sequences outside the cLE motif may influence cLE function by affecting the processing of cLE peptides, resulting in a change in the availability and/or abundance of cLE peptides in specific tissues and/or cells.

We describe the synthesis and evaluation of an azulene-based chemodosimeter for *** probe was found to undergo two distinct color changes upon introduction of aqueous nitrite ion.A near-instant formation of a grey color provides a qualitative indication of the presence of nitrite,followed by the formation of a deep-yellow/orange color,the endpoint from which quantitative data can be *** azulene probe exhibits 1:1 stoichiometry of reaction with nitrite in water,and is selective for nitrite over other *** azulene probe was applied to determine nitrite content in cured meat,and compared with the British Standard testing procedure(Griess test).The value obtained from the azulene-based probe agreed closely with the standard *** procedure only requires the preparation of one standard solution,instead of the three required for the standard Griess test.
