This paper reviews and introduces the techniques for boosting the light-extraction efficiency(LEE) of AlGaNbased deep-ultraviolet(DUV: λ co.parisons of various fluororesins, silico.e resin, and nonorgano materials are described. The only usable organomaterial for encapsulating DUV-LEDs is currently co.sidered to be polymerized perfluoro(4-vinyloxy-1-butene)(p-BVE)terminated with a —CF3 end group. By forming hemispherical lenses on DUV-LED dies using p-BVE having a —CF3 end group with a refractive index of about 1.35, the LEE was improved by 1.5-fold, demonstrating a co.t-feasible packaging technique.

The marine dredged sludge deposited in Dalian Bay was mixed with the appropriate amount of cement by using forced stirring mixing+industrial filling pump transportation+underwater filling process. The pilot-scale test on the filling of flowing solidified soil was co.ducted. The excavation sampling test, in-situ static co.e penetration test and plate loading test were carried out to investigate the variation of unco.fined co.pressive strength, shear strength, specific penetration resistance and bearing capacity of solidified soil with the amount of cement and curing period. The intrinsic co.nections between these factors are studied. The results show that there is a linear relationship between the characteristic value of bearing capacity of the solidified soil from dredged sludge and the unco.fined co.pressive strength and specific penetration resistance. The modified empirical formula can be used as a reference for the design, co.struction and testing of flow-solidified soil. co.pared with the layered filling process, the overall filling process has a much better uniformity and integrity. The applicability of different cements is different. It is proved that the density of JCW sludge stabilizer is 70 kg/m3 and water-solid ratio is 0.85, showing the optimal mix ratio of marine dredged sludge. When the curing age is 28 days, subgrade bearing capacity characteristic value of flow-solidified soil can reach 480 kPa. © 2020, Science Press. All right reserved.

To resolve the co.flict of large measurement range and high accuracy in the existing real-time displacement measurement laser diode （LD） interferometers, a novel real-time displacement measurement LD interferometry is proposed and its measurement principle is analyzed. By use of a new phase demodulation algorithm and a new phase co.pensation algorithm of real-time phase unwrapping, the measurement accuracy is improved, and the measurement range is enlarged to a few wavelengths. In experiments, the peak-to-peak amplitude of the speaker vibration was 2361.7 nm, and the repeatability was 2.56 nm. The measurement time was less than 26 us.

Grain size is one of the most important factors affecting rice grain quality and yield,and attracts great attention from molecular biologists and *** this study,we engineered a CRISPR/Cas9 system targeting the miR396 reco.nition site of the rice GS2 gene,which enco.es growth-regulating factor 4(OsGRF4)and regulates multiple agronomic traits including grain size,grain quality,nitrogen use efficiency,abiotic stress response,and seed *** co.trast to most previous genome editing efforts in which indel mutations were chosen to obtain null mutants,a mutant named GS2^(E) carrying an in-frame 6-bp deletion and 1-bp substitution within the miR396-targeted sequence was ***2^(E) plants showed increased expression of GS2 in co.sistent with impaired repression by *** expected,the gain-of-function GS2^(E) mutant exhibited multiple beneficial traits including increased grain size and yield and bigger grain length/width *** grain weight and grain yield per plant of GS2^(E) plants were increased by 23.5%and 10.4%,*** improved traits were passed to hybrids in a semidominant way,suggesting that the new GS2^(E) allele has great potential in rice *** together,we report new GS2 germplasm and describe a novel gene-editing strategy that can be widely employed to improve grain size and yield in *** trait-improvement strategy co.ld be applied to other genes co.taining miRNA target sites,in particular the co.served miR396-GRF/GIF module that governs plant growth,development and environmental response.

A sinusoidal phase-modulating （SPM） laser diode （LD） interferometer for real-time surface profile measurement is proposed and its principle is analyzed. The phase signal of the surface profile is detected from the sinusoidal phase-modulating interference signal using a real-time phase detection circuit. For 60 × 60 measurement points of the surface profile, the measuring time is 10 ms. A root mean square （RMS） measurement repeatability of 3.93 nm is realized, and the measurement resolution reaches 0.19 nm.

Geothermal energy,a form of renewable energy,has been extensively utilized for building ***,there is a lack of detailed co.parative studies on the use of shallow and medium-deep geothermal energy in building energy systems,which are essential for ***,this paper presents a co.parative study of the performance and eco.omic analysis of shallow and medium-deep borehole heat exchanger heating *** on the geological parameters of Xi’an,China and co.monly used borehole heat exchanger structures,numerical simulationmethods are employed to analyze performance and eco.omic *** results indicate that increasing the spacing between shallow borehole heat exchangers can effectively reduce thermal interference between the pipes and improve heat extraction *** the flow rate increases,the outlet water temperature ranges from 279.3 to 279.7 K,with heat extraction power varying between 595 and 609 *** medium-deep borehole heat exchangers,performance predictions show that a higher flow rate results in greater heat extraction ***,when the flow rate exceeds 30 m^(3)/h,further increases in flow rate have only a minor effect on enhancing heat extraction ***,the eco.omic analysis reveals that the payback period for shallow geothermal heating systems ranges from 10 to 11 years,while for medium-deep geothermal heating systems,it varies more widely from 3 to 25 ***,the payback period for medium-deep geothermal heating systems is more significantly influenced by operational and installation parameters,and optimizing these parameters can co.siderably shorten the payback *** results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the efficient and co.t-effective utilization of geothermal energy for building heating.
