solar energy is replacing more and more traditional sources of energy because of the fact that it’s also fighting about global warming. This study is based on exergy analysis of a double-effect series flow absorption refrigeration system powered by solar energy in ngaoundere. The simulation is done on the basis of a half hourly analysis for the first time, from 6.30 AM to 6.30 PM, using water-lithium bromide as working pair. The main parameters for the performance of an absorption cycle, which are the COP and the ECOP, have been analyzed and the results show that this two parameters increase while increasing the temperature of the main generator. The exergy loss of each component of the system and the total exergy loss of the system have been analyzed and their effectiveness calculated, using the first and second law of thermodynamics. The highest exergy loss occurs in the main generator GI and in the absorber, making these components more important in an absorption cycle. This analysis is based on a mathematical model using FORTRAn?language. The results obtained may be useful for the optimization of solar absorption refrigeration systems.

Traditional mining activities are usually correlated with high levels of soil pollution, which is a major environmental concern. Extensive mining activities have taken place in the san Joaquin region in the state of Querétaro, México resulting in high levels of mercury soil pollution (up to 1532 ± 300 mg/kg). We isolated mercury-resistant fungal strains from the san Joaquin region soils and identified them through morphologic characteristics and ITs rDnA region sequence analysis. We determined that fungi isolated belong to the genus Trichoderma. All the isolates selected showed the ability to catalyze the volatilization of Hg. For air sampling, an active sampling device was constructed and using acid KMnO4 as an absorbent, the concentration of mercury in solution was determined through the cold vapor atomic absorption method. The results show mercury volatilization from the fungal species assay, with a maximum of 213.04 ± 32.6 μg/m3 while mycelium accumulation ranged from less than 17.5 ± 2.9 to 20.0 ± 3.4 μg/g. The fungal isolates were also evaluated for their ability to reduce mercury uptake in Arabidopsis thaliana. These observations suggest the utility of Trichoderma for the mobilization of mercury in those contaminated soils.

目的该前瞻性初步研究的目的是比较脱氧胸腺嘧啶核苷（FLT）-PET/CT显像与脱氧葡萄糖（FDG）-PET/CT显像相比在早期判断食管癌新辅助放化疗疗效上的潜能。方法 5例活组织检查证实食管腺癌的患者在微创食管切除术前行新辅助放化疗。根据放化疗后病灶组织学检测结果,使用Mandard等的分类标准把患者分成病理学有效组和无效组。所有患者在间隔48 h内行FLT-PET/CT显像和FDG-PET/CT显像,显像时间为注药后1 h。以上显像共做3次:（1）新辅助放化疗前;（2）放化疗中;（3）放化疗后。基于显像结果的疗效判断用治疗前后FLT-PET和FDG-PET显像的最大标准摄取值(sUV;)变化（AsUV）来表示。术后分析PET显像结果和病理结果间的关系。结果治疗前所有肿瘤病灶均能摄取FDG和FLT,但FLT摄取低于FDG摄取。新辅助放化疗后,病理有效组（n=3）和无效组（n=2）均可见FDG和FLT摄取降低。放化疗中显像结果发现,病理有效组平均肿瘤FLT摄取的降低（AsUV=-55%）与无效组FLT摄取的降低（△sUV=-29%）间差异有统计学意义（P=0.007）,而FDG摄取降低间的差异无统计学意义（病理有效组平均△sUV=-39%,无效组△sUV=-31%;P=0.74）。放化疗后显像结果发现,病理有效组肿瘤FLT摄取的降低AsUV=-62%,无效组△sUV=-57%,两者间差异无统计学意义（P=0.54）,而FDG摄取降低间的差异接近有统计学意义（有效组△sUV=-74%,无效组△sUV=-52%;P=0.06）。结论该前瞻性初步研究结果发现,肿瘤早期FLT摄取改变也许比FDG能更好地判断食管腺癌对新辅助放化疗的疗效。这些初步结果表明,有必要进行更多病例的FLT-PET/CT显像,以确认其价值。

Middle East Respiratory syndrome Coronavirus (MERs-CoV) is a zoonotic pathogen capable of causing severe respiratory disease in humans. Although dromedary camels are considered as a major reservoir host, the MERs-CoV infection dynamics in camels are not fully understood. Through surveillance in Pakistan, nasal (n = 776) and serum (n = 1050)samples were collected from camels between november 2015 and February 2018. samples were collected from animal markets, free-roaming herds and abattoirs. An in-house ELIsA was developed to detect IgG against MERs-CoV. A total of 794 camels were found seropositive for MERs-CoV. Prevalence increased with the age and the highest seroprevalence was recorded in camels aged [ 10 years (81.37%) followed by those aged 3.1–10 years (78.65%) and B 3 years (58.19%).Higher prevalence was observed in female (78.13%) as compared to male (70.70%). Of the camel nasal swabs, 22 were found to be positive by RT-qPCR though with high Ct values. Moreover, 2,409 human serum samples were also collected from four provinces of Pakistan during 2016–2017. Among the sampled population, 840 humans were camel *** we found a high rate of MERs-CoV antibody positive dromedaries (75.62%) in Pakistan, no neutralizing antibodies were detected in humans with and without contact to camels.

This study aims to investigate the toxicity and possible effects and mechanism of action of the essential oil obtained from the Piper tuberculatum Jacq.‘s fruit(EOPT)on the central nervous system(Cns)of *** the Hippocratic test,it was observed ambulation reduction,sedation,piloerection and mortality of 25%at the dose of 1000 mg/kg and 50%at the dose of 5000 mg/*** results found demonstrate that the EOPT is endowed with a possible depressant effect,and is characterized by a likely sedative(open field test),anxiolytic-like(elevated plus maze test),anticonvulsant(pentylenetetrazole-induced seizure test)and hypnotic action(pentobarbital-induced sleeping time).These effects may possibly occur due to the interaction between the monoterpenes,present in its essential oil,and the GABAergic pathway confirmed by reversion of the effects by ***,these results demonstrate the therapeutic potential and the validation of the ethnopharmacological use of this species in the treatment of disorders affecting the central nervous system.
