The use of machine learning to predict student employability is important in order to analyse a student’s capability to get a *** on the results of this type of analysis,university managers can improve the employability of their students,which can help in attracting students in the *** addition,learners can focus on the essential skills identified through this analysis during their studies,to increase their *** effectivemethod calledOPT-BAG(OPTimisation of BAGging classifiers)was therefore developed to model the problem of predicting the employability of *** model can help predict the employability of students based on their competencies and can reveal weaknesses that need to be ***,we analyse the relationships between several variables and the outcome variable using a correlation heatmap for a student employability ***,a standard scaler function is applied in the preprocessing module to normalise the variables in the student employability *** training set is then input to our model to identify the optimal parameters for the bagging classifier using a grid search cross-validation ***,the OPT-BAG model,based on a bagging classifier with optimal parameters found in the previous step,is trained on the training dataset to predict student *** empirical outcomes in terms of accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 indicate that the OPT-BAG approach outperforms other cutting-edge machine learning models in terms of predicting student *** this study,we also analyse the factors affecting the recruitment process of employers,and find that general appearance,mental alertness,and communication skills are the most *** indicates that educational institutions should focus on these factors during the learning process to improve student employability.

During the last decade,the food and beverage industry has been one of the most significant and prioritized industries that contributed to the economic growth in ***,how to enhance the performance of food and beverage firms has become a critical factor for Vietnam’s economic *** research aims to use the data envelopment analysis(DEA)and the Malmquist productivity index(MPI)to assess changes in operational performance and productivity of listed lead food and beverage firms in Vietnam during the period between 2015 and *** obtained results reveal that Vietnamese food and beverage firms were generally inefficient between 2015 and 2020 because the number of relatively inefficient companies was higher than the relatively efficient ones in each year between 2015 and *** MPI findings indicate the growth in productivity during the study period as a result of technological *** integrating the findings of the relative efficiency and productivity change,this study creates five decision-making matrixes for five periods,respectively,from 2015 to 2020 to position the food and beverage firms in each *** analytical results provide instructions to senior managers on developing strategy for increasing efficiency of food and beverage listed companies in Vietnam.

目的:研究非糖尿病心力衰竭(Heart Failure,HF)患者应用达格列净治疗后血浆中血浆肾素浓度(Plasma renin concentration,PRC)、血浆血管紧张素Ⅱ(angiotensinⅡ,ANG-II)、血浆醛固酮(Aldosterone,ALD)的浓度水平变化情况,探讨达格列净对不伴糖尿病心力衰竭患者RAAS系统影响。方法:选取2021年7月至2022年10月于大理大学第一附属医院心内科收治102例非糖尿病心力衰竭患者为研究对象,44名常规治疗的患者纳入对照组,58名在常规治疗基础上口服达格列净的患者纳入实验组。记录患者一般情况,并分别在服药前及服药后第7天测定患者一般实验室指标(血尿酸、血糖、肌酐、总胆固醇、甘油三酯、血钾、血钠、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇)、BNP值、RAAS系统(PRC、ANG-II、ALD)、左室射血分数(LVEF)、心功能等级。记录两组患者基础资料以及治疗期间心衰症状、心肾功能及RAAS系统相关指标的变化情况并进行对比。结果:1.实验组患者NYHA心功能分级I级从1例(1.72%)经治疗后升到12例(20.68%);心功能II级从5例(8.62%)上升至45例(77.59%);心功能III级从40例(68.89%)降低0例(0.00%),心功能IV级从12例(20.68%)降到1例(1.72%),治疗前后心功能分级分布差异有统计学差异(P0.05)。治疗前后实验组患者均进行生命体征、Glu、TC、TG、Cr、UA,K、Na复查未出现明显异常,未发生不良反应事件,说明达格列净治疗于心衰是安全的。3.治疗后实验组BNP值为(434.55±418.40)pg/ml,对照组为(619.33±453.37)pg/ml,实验组低于对照组,组间差异具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组患者的PRC值显著下降至(11.58±4.77)pg/ml,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组患者的ALD值显著下降至(65.47±12.01)pg/ml,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05)。比较两组患者治疗前后差值,实验组ALD(pg/ml)(19.05±20.16),与对照组(2.29±16.07)结果显示,实验组显著高于对照组具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组与对照组均显著下降,治疗前后差异均具有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:1.达格列净可显著降低不伴糖尿病心力衰竭患者心功能分级和BNP值,且安全性佳。2.达格列净可显著降PRC、Ang-II、ALD浓度水平,且治疗效果不受性别和其他药物的影响。提示达格列净可能具有抑制RASS系统的作用。

Biomass accumulation of Panax vietnamensis in cell suspension cultures varies with addition of plant growth regulators and organic additives

Objective: To evaluate the impact of plant growth regulators including kinetin(KN),benzyl adenine and naphthalene acetic acid, yeast extract and casein hydrolyzate on biomass accumulation of Vietnamese ginseng Panax vietnamensis(P. vietnamensis) in cell suspension ***: Cell suspension cultures were established from friable calluses derived from leaves and petioles of 3-year-old in-vitro P. vietnamensis plants. The cell suspension cultures were grown in Murashige and Skoog basal media supplemented with various concentrations of KN, benzyl adenine, naphthalene acetic acid, and yeast extract and casein ***: All tested factors generated an increase in the cell biomass of P. vietnamensis in suspension culture, but the impact of each varies depended on the factor type, concentration, and incubation period. Addition of 2.0 mg/L KN resulted in the largest biomass increase after 24 d,(57.0 ± 0.9) and(3.1 ± 0.1) mg/m L fresh and dry weight, respectively,whereas addition of benzyl adenine or naphthalene acetic acid produced optimum levels of Panax cell biomass at 1.0 and 1.5 mg/L, respectively. Addition of the elicitor yeast extract led to a 1.4–2.4 fold increase in biomass of P. vietnamensis, while addition of casein hydrolyzate enhanced biomass accumulation 1.8–2.6 ***: The addition of each factor causes significant changes in biomass accumulation of P. vietnamensis. The largest biomass accumulation is from cultures grown in MS media containing 2.0 mg/L KN for 24 d. The outcome of the present study provides new insights into the optimal suspension culture conditions for studies on the in vitro cell biomass production of P. vietnamensis.

Highly active brookite TiO2-assisted photocatalytic degradation of dyes under the simulated solar-UVA radiation

Brookite TiO2nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), diffuse reflectance UV–Visible spectroscopy(DRUV), and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The obtained particles were spherical in shape with the diameter of about ～10 nm under the hydrothermal temperature of 175 °C. The photocatalytic performance of brookite was investigated in the photodegradation of dyes(rhodamine B and rose bengal) under UV-A radiation by low-power lamp. The activity of brookite and the photodegradation efficiency of dyes were estimated using a UV–Visible spectrophotometer and a total organic carbon(TOC) analyzer. Compared to anatase and rutile prepared by the similar synthesis procedure, brookite is highly active in terms of decolourization, aromatic ring opening, and mineralization.

Understanding bike trip patterns leveraging bike sharing system open data

Bike sharing systems are booming globally as a green and flexible transportation mode, but the flexibility also brings difficulties in keeping the bike stations balanced with enough bikes and docks. Understanding the spatio-temporal bike trip patterns in a bike sharing system, such as the popular trip origins and destinations during rush hours, is important for researchers to design models for bike scheduling and sta- tion management. However, due to privacy and operational concerns, bike trip data are usually not publicly available in many cities. Instead, the station feeds about real-time bike and dock number in stations are usually public, which we refer to as bike sharing system open data. In this paper, we propose an approach to infer the spatio-temporal bike trip patterns from the public station feeds. Since the number of possible trips （i.e., origin-destination station pairs） is much larger than the number of stations, we define the trip infer- ence as an ill-posed inverse problem. To solve this problem, we identify the sparsity and locality properties of bike trip patterns, and propose a sparse and weighted regularization model to impose both properties in the solution. We evaluate our method using real-world data from Washington, D.C. and New York City. Results show that our method can effectively infer the spatio-temporal bike trip patterns and outperform the baselines in both cities.

The Roles of Female Involvement and Risk Aversion in Open Access Publishing Patterns in Vietnamese Social Sciences and Humanities

随着互联网的迅速发展与普及,大量的网络用语应运而出。近年来接地气的网络词语经常出现在中国政府部门文件以及领导人发言当中。为了与时俱进,作为新中国第一部规范性词典——《现代汉语词典》也收录了被广泛使用且稳定性强的网络新词语。这表明了汉语网络语言已经由小众的专利变成了大众共建、共用、共享的语言产品。汉语网络语言已经渐渐步入人们的日常生活中并成为汉语不可或缺的组成部分。随着中国在国际上的影响力不断扩大,汉语的地位也显著提高,“汉语热”席卷全球,学习汉语的人数不断增加。海外汉语学习者以年轻人居多,该群体对新事物的包容性和接受能力也更强,因此汉语网络语言是他们关注的新焦点,同时也对他们的第二语言学习(即汉语学习)带来巨大的影响。中国与越南是山水相连的友好邻邦。越南本地的汉语教学得到了政府部门的高度重视与大力支持,学习汉语的人数不断创新高,赴华留学的越南留学生也越来越多。越南学生是海外汉语学习者的重要组成部分。目前,网络语言本体研究已获得较为丰硕的成果,但是网络语言在国际中文教育中尚未受到足够的重视。那么,在网络语言实际教学中,教师该“教什么”、“怎么教”才能趋利避害?越南学生对汉语网络语言的认知与态度如何?本文主要采用文献研究法、问卷调查法和综合分析法等方法进行研究。笔者对高级阶段的越南学生进行问卷调查,通过分析调查结果了解越南学生对汉语网络语言的认知、使用情况及态度等问题。调查结果显示,高级阶段的越南学生对汉语网络语言的认知程度与使用频率较高,对汉语网络语言及网络语言教学大多持支持态度。此外,研究还表明,学习时间长短、在中国生活情况、使用汉语交流的频率以及使用中国社交软件的频率等四个因素都直接影响到学生对网络语言的认知程度。之后,笔者基于前人的研究成果,结合实际情况与调查问卷结果,从教师、学生以及学校等三个角度提出汉语网络语言教学与学习的建议。希望本论文能够帮助包括越南学生在内的外国学生加深对汉语网络语言的了解,从而正确运用汉语网络语言,也希望能够为这方面的研究提供新的视角和方向,起到抛砖引玉的作用,为以后的研究尽绵薄之力。

Polygonatum kingianum rhizome extract alleviates collagen antibody-induced arthritis by modulating proinflammatory cytokine production in mice

Objective: To evaluate the anti-arthritic effects of Polygonatum kingianum rhizome extract using both in vitro and in vivo ***: Lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages were treated with an ethanol extract of Polygonatum kingianum rhizomes at different concentrations to determine nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) production. For in vivo study, Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract was further investigated for its antiinflammatory effect in a mouse model with collagen antibodyinduced arthritis. Phytochemical study of Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract was also ***: Saponins(142 mg/g total yield) was the main component in the Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract. 5α,8α-ergosterol peroxide,(E,E)-9-oxooctadeca-10,12-dienoic acid and 3-(2?-hydroxy-4?-methoxy-benzyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-methyl-chroman-4-one were isolated from the extract. Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract exhibited potential anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting nitric oxide and PGE2 production in RAW 264.7 cells in a dosedependent manner. The level of arthritis in mice with collagen antibody-induced arthritis was significantly reduced(P<0.01) after treatment with Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract, particularly at a dose of 1 000 mg/kg body weight. Besides, the extract demonstrated the regulatory effects on serum tumor necrosis factoralpha, interleukin-6, and interleukin-10 in treated ***: Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract has beneficial effects on inflammatory cytokine regulation and PGE2 inhibition in an experimental mouse model with collagen antibody-induced arthritis. The phytochemical screening reveals that the saponin, as the main component, and sterols(daucosterol and 5α,8α-ergosterol peroxide) from Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract may contribute to its promising in vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory activities.
