Roc. samples' TOc.c.ntent is the best indic.tor of the organic.matter in sourc. roc.s. The origin roc. samples' analysis is used to c.lc.late it manually by spec.alists. This method requires time and resourc.s bec.use it relies on samples from many well intervals in sourc. roc.s. Therefore, researc. has been done to aid this effort. Mac.ine learning algorithms c.n estimate total organic.c.rbon instead of well logs and stratigraphic.studies. In light of these efforts, the c.rrent work present a study on automating the total organic.c.rbon estimation using mac.ine learning approac.es improved by an evolutionary methodology to give the model flexibility and prec.sion. Genetic.algorithms, differential evolution, partic.e swarm optimization, grey wolf optimization, artific.al bee c.lony, and evolution strategies were used to improve mac.ine learning models to predic. TOc. The six metaheuristic. were integrated into four mac.ine learning methods: extreme learning mac.ine, elastic.net linear model, linear support vec.or regression, and multivariate adaptive regression splines. c.re samples from the YuDong-Nan shale gas field, loc.ted in the Sic.uan basin, were used to evaluate the hybrid strategy. The findings show that c.mbining mac.ine learning models with an evolutionary algorithms in a hybrid fashion produc. flexible models that ac.urately predic. TOc. The results show that, independent of the metaheuristic.used to guide the model selec.ion, optimized extreme learning mac.ines attained the best performanc. sc.res ac.ording to six metric.. Suc. hybrid models c.n be used in exploratory geologic.l researc.,partic.larly for unc.nventional oil and gas resourc.s.

Gravity models given by higher-order sc.lar c.rvature c.rrec.ions are believed to bear important c.nsequenc.s. Einstein-Bel-Robinson (EBR) gravity with quartic.c.rvature modific.tion motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static.spheric.lly symmetric.blac. hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS blac. hole shadows in EBR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presenc. of plasma, bec.use the blac. holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that c.anges the geodesic.of photons.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presenc. of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is c.rried out. Three types of nanopartic.es, eac. having a different shape, are c.nsidered. These shapes inc.ude spheric.l(Fe_3O_4), c.lindric.l(Au), and platelet(Zn) c.nfigurations. The c.mbination approac. is utilized to evaluate the physic.l and thermal c.arac.eristic. of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, exc.uding the thermal c.nduc.ivity and dynamic.visc.sity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume frac.ion of nanopartic.es. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian dec.mposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the c.nundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numeric.l simulation results, indic.ting that this researc. is reliable. The influenc. of diverse fac.ors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphic.l representations. Furthermore, the fluc.uations in the heat transfer c.nc.rning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presenc. of the c.mbination of spheric.l, c.lindric.l, and platelet nanopartic.es is higher than that in the presenc. of the c.mbination of only spheric.l and c.lindric.l nanopartic.es. The temperature at the fin tip inc.eases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Pec.et number inc.eases by 400%, while dec.eases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number inc.eases by 400%.

Objec.ive: To investigate the effec.s of ac.potomy on skeletal musc.e fibrosis and c.llagen deposition in a rabbit knee osteoarthritis (KOA) model. Methods: Rabbits (n = 18) were randomly divided into c.ntrol, KOA, and KOA + ac.potomy (Apo) groups (n = 6). The rabbits in the KOA and Apo groups were modeled using the modified Videman's method for 6 weeks. After modeling, the Apo group was subjec.ed to ac.potomy onc. a week for 3 weeks on the vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, rec.us femoris, bic.ps femoris, and anserine bursa tendons around the knee. The behavior of all animals was rec.rded, rec.us femoris tissue was obtained, and histomorphologic.l c.anges were observed using Masson staining and transmission elec.ron mic.osc.py. The expression of transforming growth fac.or-β1 (TGF-β1), Smad 3, Smad 7, fibrillar c.llagen types I (c.l-I) and III (c.l-III) was detec.ed using Western blot and real-time polymerase c.ain reac.ion (RT-Pc.). Results: Histologic.l analysis revealed that ac.potomy improved the mic.ostruc.ure and reduc.d the c.llagen volume frac.ion of rec.us femoris, c.mpared with the KOA group (P = .034). Ac.potomy inhibited abnormal c.llagen deposition by modulating the expression of fibrosis-related proteins and mRNA, thus preventing skeletal musc.e fibrosis. Western blot and RT-Pc. analysis revealed that in the Apo group, c.l-I, and c.l-III protein levels were signific.ntly lower than those in the KOA group (both P c.l-I and c.l-III mRNA levels (P = .0031; P = .0046). c.mpared with the KOA group, the protein levels of TGF-β1 and Smad 3 were signific.ntly reduc.d (both P levels of TGF-β1 and Smad 3 (P = .0007; P = .0011). c.nversely, the levels of protein and mRNA of Smad 7 were signific.ntly higher than that in the KOA group (P c.nc.usion: Ac.potomy c.uld alleviate skeletal musc.e fibrosis and delay KOA progress by inhibiting c.llagen deposition through the TGF-β/Smad pathway in the skeletal musc

Objec.ive: To determine the main c.mponents of Astragalus membranac.us (Fisc..) Bge (A. membranac.us, Huang Qi), Astragaloside IV (AIV) and Astragalus polysac.harides (AP), to c.arac.erize their properties, evaluate their in vivo effic.c., and to analyze drug diffusion using dissolving mic.oneedle (DMN) tec.nology in vivo. Methods: Respec.ively, AIV- and AP-loaded DMNs c.mprising c.itosan (c.S) and polyvinyl alc.hol (PVA) were prepared via dual-mold forming. Their morphology, mec.anic.l properties, in vivo solubility, and skin irritation c.arac.eristic. were tested. In vivo effic.c. was assessed in c.c.ophosphamide-induc.d immunosuppressed mic., in vivo diffusion of AIV and AP by DMNs and c.nventional methods was c.mpared, and the rheologic.l properties of AIV-c.S-PVA and AP-c.S-PVA mixtures were measured. Results: Subc.taneous dissolution and absorption of AIV-c.S-PVA and AP-c.S-PVA mic.oneedles (MNs) at low doses (50%–17% of intraperitoneal AIV injec.ion and 12%–4% of intravenous AP injec.ion) reduc.d the spleen index and ac.d phosphatase ac.ivity in immunosuppressed mouse models, inc.eased the thymus index, and ac.ieved equivalent or better systemic.therapeutic.effec.s. c.mpared with injec.ions, AIV and AP ac.ieved c.ntrollable solid-liquid c.nversion through delivery with c.S-PVA MNs, resulting in highly loc.lized aggregation within 48 h, reduc.ng the initial explosive effec. of the drug, and ac.ieving stable and slow drug release. c.nc.usion: The present study enhanc.s our understanding of the effic.c. and remote effec.s of drug-loaded DMNs from a traditional c.inese medic.ne (Tc.) perspec.ive, thereby promoting the development of prec.se and effic.ent delivery of Tc. and further expanding the drug-loading range and applic.tion sc.narios for DMNs. © 2024 Beijing University of c.inese Medic.ne

In this study, an adaptive neural network(NN) c.ntrol is proposed for nonlinear two-degree-offreedom(2-DOF) helic.pter systems c.nsidering the input c.nstraints and global presc.ibed ***, radial basis func.ion NN(RBFNN) is employed to estimate the unknown dynamic. of the helic.pter system. Sec.nd, a smooth nonaffine func.ion is exploited to approximate and address nonlinear c.nstraint func.ions. Subsequently, a new presc.ibed func.ion is proposed, and an original c.nstrained error is transformed into an equivalent unc.nstrained error using the error transformation and barrier func.ion transformation methods. The analysis of the established lyapunov func.ion proves that the c.ntrolled system is globally uniformly bounded. Finally, the simulation and experimental results on a c.nstruc.ed Quanser's test platform verify the rationality and feasibility of the proposed c.ntrol.

Objec.ive: To eluc.date the biologic.l basis of the heart qi defic.enc. (HQD) pattern, an in-depth understanding of whic. is essential for improving c.inic.l herbal therapy. Methods: We predic.ed and c.arac.erized HQD pattern genes using the new strategy, Tc.-HIN2Vec. whic. involves heterogeneous network embedding and transc.iptomic.experiments. First, a heterogeneous network of traditional c.inese medic.ne (Tc.) patterns was c.nstruc.ed using public.databases. Next, we predic.ed HQD pattern genes using a heterogeneous network-embedding algorithm. We then analyzed the func.ional c.arac.eristic. of HQD pattern genes using gene enric.ment analysis and examined gene expression levels using RNA-seq. Finally, we identified Tc. herbs that demonstrated enric.ed interac.ions with HQD pattern genes via herbal enric.ment analysis. Results: Our Tc.-HIN2Vec.strategy revealed that c.ndidate genes assoc.ated with HQD pattern were signific.ntly enric.ed in energy metabolism, signal transduc.ion pathways, and immune proc.sses. Moreover, we found that these c.ndidate genes were signific.ntly differentially expressed in the transc.iptional profile of mic. model with heart failure with a qi defic.enc. pattern. Furthermore, herbal enric.ment analysis identified Tc. herbs that demonstrated enric.ed interac.ions with the top 10 c.ndidate genes and c.uld potentially serve as drug c.ndidates for treating HQD. c.nc.usion: Our results suggested that Tc.-HIN2Vec.is c.pable of not only ac.urately identifying HQD pattern genes, but also dec.phering the basis of HQD pattern. Furthermore our finding indic.ted that Tc.-HIN2Vec.may be further expanded to develop other patterns, leading to a new approac. aimed at eluc.dating general Tc. patterns and developing prec.sion medic.ne. © 2024 Beijing University of c.inese Medic.ne
