Aquatic contamination of diclofenac(DCF),an emergent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAIDs),can result in adverse effects to many ecosystems through ***,introducing effective remediation techniques to sequester the pharmaceutical wastes is highly fundamental to prevent their accumulation in the ***,adsorption has been presented as a green and efficient ***,we report the characterization and application of the novel magnetic nanocomposite(GO@CoFe2O4)derived from cobalt-based ferrite(CoFe2O4)and graphene oxide(GO)for DCF *** the optimization procedure,the response surface methodology(RSM)was adopted to investigate the impacts of DCF concentration(1.6-18.4 mg/L),DCF dosage(0.08-0.92 g/L),and solution pH(2.6-9.4)to find the optimum conditions for DCF removal,at 10.5 mg/L,0.74 g/L,and pH 4,*** the adsorption experiments,the kinetic,isotherm,thermodynamic,and intraparticle diffusion models were systematically ***,we have elucidated the role of functional groups on the surface of GO@CoFe2O4 in enhancing the adsorption of DCF *** good removal efficiency(up to 86.1%),high maximum adsorption capacity(32.4 mg/g),GO@CoFe2O4 can be a potential candidate to eliminate DCF drug from water.

Association between measles antibodies in vaccinated and naturally infected mothers with protective antibodies and the occurrence of measles in their children:A cross-sectional study in the Bavi district of Hanoi

Objective:To determine the concentration and rate of decay of maternal IgG antibodies against measles prevalence in infants of vaccinated or naturally infected mothers and study initial measles immunization occurs in nine-month-old ***:In total,401 pregnant women and the same number of their subsequent newborns were recruited in the Bavi district of Hanoi in 2016-2017;they were divided into two groups:Older women(born before 1985,n=201)and younger women(born after 1990,n=200).Samples were collected at five time-points;week 36 of pregnancy,birth(cord),and 3,6,and 9 months after ***-specific IgG antibody levels were ***:In total,77.06% of the 401 pregnant women were seropositive for measles-specific IgG antibodies.A significantly greater proportion of mothers aged 30 and older(88.06%)and their newborn(93.53%)were seropositive compared to the mothers aged 25 and younger(66.00%),and their newborn(72.00%)(Pthis study provides a profile of maternal antibodies against measles in Vietnamese infants and investigates the early susceptibility to measles in both the infants of vaccinated mothers and mothers with naturally acquired *** data suggest that determining the appropriate age for measles vaccination is paramount for the elimination of measles in Vietnam.

BACKGROUND Human leukocyte antigen(HLA)class II molecules are cell surface receptor proteins found on antigen-presenting *** and mutations in the HLA gene can affect the immune system and the progression of hepatitis *** To study the relation between rs2856718 of HLA-DQ,rs3077,and rs9277535 of HLA-DP,hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis,and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS In this case-control study,the genotypes of these single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)were screened in 315 healthy controls,471 chronic hepatitis B patients,250 patients with HBV-related liver cirrhosis,and 251 patients with HCC using TaqMan real-time *** conducted Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium and linkage disequilibrium tests on the genotype distributions of rs2856718,rs3077,and rs9277535 before hierarchical clustering analysis to build the complex interaction between the markers in each patient *** The physical distance separating these SNPs was 29816 kB with the disequilibrium(D’)values ranging from 0.07 to *** close linkage between rs3077 and rs9277535 was attributed to a distance of 21 *** D’value decreased from moderate in the healthy control group(D’=0.50,P<0.05)to weak in the hepatic disease group(D’<0.3,P<0.05).In a combination of the three variants rs2856718,rs3077,and rs9277535,the A allele decreased hepatic disease risk[A-A-A haplotype,risk ratio(RR)=0.44(0.14;1.37),P<0.05].The G allele had the opposite effect[G-A/G-G haplotype,RR=1.12(1.02;1.23),P<0.05].In liver cancer cases,the A-A-A/G haplotype increased the risk of HCC by 1.58(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Rs9277535 affects liver fibrosis progression due to HBV infection,while rs3077 is associated with a risk of HBVrelated *** link between rs2856718,rs3077,and rs9277535 and disease risk was determined using a multiclustering analysis.

Effects of interface trap density on the electrical performance of amorphous InSnZnO thin-film transistor

We reported the influence of interface trap density（Nt） on the electrical properties of amorphous InSnZnO based thin-film transistors,which were fabricated at different direct-current（DC） magnetron sputtering *** device with the smallest Nt of 5.68×10^11 cm^-2 and low resistivity of 1.21×10^-3Ω·cm exhibited a turn-on voltage（V（ON）） of-3.60 V,a sub-threshold swing（S.S） of 0.16 V/dec and an on-off ratio（I（ON）/I（OFF）） of^8 x 10^*** increasing Nt,the V（ON）,S.S and I（ON）/I（OFF） were suppressed to-9.40 V,0.24 V/dec and 2.59×10^8,*** V（TH） shift under negative gate bias stress has also been estimated to investigate the electrical stability of the *** result showed that the reduction in Nt contributes to an improvement in the electrical properties and stability.

Background:Population health interventions(PHIs)have the potential to improve the health of large populations by systematically addressing underlying conditions of poor health outcomes(i.e.,social determinants of health)and reducing health ***-up may be one means of enhancing the impact of effective ***,not all scale-up attempts have been *** an attempt to help guide the process of successful scale-up of a PHI,we look to the organizational readiness for change theory for a new perspective on how we may better understand the scale-up *** the change theory,our goal was to develop the foundations of an evidence-based,theory-informed framework for a PHI,through a critical examination of various PHI scale-up experiences documented in the ***:We conducted a multi-step,critical interpretive synthesis(CIS)to gather and examine insights from scale-up experiences detailed in peer-reviewed and grey literatures,with a focus on PHIs from a variety of global *** CIS included iterative cycles of systematic searching,sampling,data extraction,critiquing,interpreting,coding,reflecting,and *** relevant to innovations,complexity,and organizational readiness guided our analysis and ***:We retained and examined twenty different PHI scale-up experiences,which were extracted from 77 documents(47 peer-reviewed,30 grey literature)published between 1995 and ***,we identified three phases(i.e.,Groundwork,Implementing Scale-up,and Sustaining Scale-up),11 actions,and four key components(i.e.,PHI,context,capacity,stakeholders)pertinent to the scale-up *** guiding theories provided explanatory power to various aspects of the scale-up process and to scale-up success,and an alternative perspective to the assessment of scale-up readiness for a ***:Our synthesis provided the foundations of the Scale-up Readiness Assessment *** theoreticallyinformed and rigorous synt

Sensitivity of Lagrangian Particle Tracking Based on a 3D Numerical Model

The aim of the paper is to investigate in detail the sensitivity of particles displacement based on method of Lagrangian particle tracking in combination with a 3D Eulerian numerical model that was developed by the first author, namely FSUM. The characteristic parameters used for this research include the possibilities of random movement, settling velocity of solid particle, horizontal and vertical diffusion coefficients and condition of particle fixed with a constant distance under water surface. The first part is on the fluid flow model. It includes 3D Navier-Stokes equations together with the initial and boundary conditions that were numerically solved with the finite difference method and coded with FORTRAN 90/95 using parallel technique with OpenMP. A semi-Lagrangian treatment of the advective terms was used. The second part is related to Lagrangian particle tracking model and was solved with the fourth Runge-Kutta method. Model was applied for Strait of Johor and has been calibrated by using measured data on water level and velocity at one station. Eight cases of simulations with many different options were carried out. Through computed cases it shows that random term and settling velocity are very important factors for the behavior of particle trajectory. Although the random diffusion is minor in comparison with flow velocity, but it can rearrange the initial distribution of particles then the cluster of particles become more dispersive during the process of movement. In addition, introducing settling velocity of particle makes a big change on the trajectory of particle that becomes more suitable to sediment transport. The study gave a comprehensive picture on particle movement. The model also showed its possibilities of multiform applications in simulation and prediction for the different problems in practice.

Fabrication and Characterization of Pulp/Chitosan Composite Membranes Crosslinked with 3-Methylglutaric Anhydride for Pervaporation of Ethanol/Water Mixture

Chitosan/Cellulose (CTS/CL) composite membranes were prepared by cross-linking reaction with 3-methy- lglutaric anhydride (3MGA). The cross-linked membranes with CTS/CL were obtained at different CTS con- tents in variations from 50 to 100 wt%, and these membranes were applied in the dehydration of ethanol/wa- ter mixtures. Especially, it was observed that in the case of a composite membrane containing chitosan 80% (CTS/CL-80/20) showed a performance with a separation factor of α = 17.1 and a total permeation flux of J = 326 g/(m2h). It was observed that the total permeation flux decreased when the cross-linking increased and the increase in the ethanol content in the feed solution showed an increase in the separation factor. The CTS/ CL-80/20 showed excellent performance with good mechanical strength and dehydration performance in the ethanol/water mixture separation.
