Recently,with the advent of high-resolution and high-throughput sequencing technologies,an increasing number of long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)have been found to be involved in the regulation of neuronal function in the central nervous system with specific spatiotemporal patterns,across different neurodegenerative ***,the underlying mechanisms of lncRNAs during neurodegeneration remain poorly *** review provides an overview of the current knowledge of the biology of lncRNAs and focuses on introducing the latest identified roles,regulatory mechanisms,and research status of lncRNAs in Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson's disease,Huntington's disease,and amyotrophic lateral ***,this review discusses the potential values of lncRNAs as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases,hoping to provide broader implications for developing effective treatments.

Immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)therapy for cancer has achieved great success both in clinical results and on the *** the same time,success drives more attention from scientists to improve ***,only a small portion of patients are responsive to this therapy,and it comes with a unique spectrum of side effects termed immunerelated adverse events(irAEs).The use of nanotechnology could improve ICBs’delivery to the tumor,assist them in penetrating deeper into tumor tissues and alleviate their *** nanomedicine has been investigated and used for decades,and is well-recognized as the most successful nano-drug delivery *** successful combination of ICB with liposomal nanomedicine could help improve the efficacy of ICB *** this review,we highlighted recent studies using liposomal nanomedicine(including new emerging exosomes and their inspired nanovesicles)in associating ICB therapy.

Vanadium and its derivatives are used in various industries,including steel,metallurgy,pharmaceuticals,and aerospace *** China has massive reserves of stone coal resources,these resources have low ***,the effective extraction and recovery of metallic vanadium from stone coal is an important way to realize the efficient resource utilization of stone coal vanadium ***,Bacillus mucilaginosus was selected as the leaching *** vanadium leaching rate reached 35.5%after 20 d of bioleaching under optimal operating *** cumulative vanadium leaching rate in the contact group reached 35.5%,which was higher than that in the noncontact group(9.3%).The metabolites of ***,such as oxalic,tartaric,citric,and malic acids,dominated in bioleaching,accounting for 73.8%of the vanadium leaching ***,during leaching,the presence of stone coal stimulated the expression of carbonic anhydrase in bacterial cells,and enzyme activity increased by 1.335-1.905 *** activity positively promoted the production of metabolite organic acids,and total organic acid content increased by 39.31 mg·L^(-1),resulting in a reduction of 2.51 in the pH of the leaching system with stone *** effect favored the leaching of vanadium from stone *** force microscopy illustrated that bacterial leaching exacerbated corrosion on the surface of stone coal beyond 10 *** study provides a clear and promising strategy for exploring the bioleaching mechanism from the perspective of microbial enzyme activity and metabolites.

The efficiency of proton exchange membrane water electrolysis(PEM-WE)for hydrogen production is heavily dependent on the noble metal iridium-based ***,the scarcity of iridium limits the large-scale application of *** address this issue,it is promising to select an appropriate support because it not only enhances the utilization efficiency of noble metals but also improves mass transport under high ***,we supported amorphous IrO_(x) nanosheets onto the hollow TiO_(2) sphere(denoted as IrO_(x)),which demonstrated excellent performance in acidic electrolytic water ***,the annealed IrO_(x)catalyst at 150℃in air exhibited a mass activity of 1347.5 A·gIr^(−1),which is much higher than that of commercial IrO_(2) of 12.33 A·gIr^(−1) at the overpotential of 300 mV for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Meanwhile,the annealed IrO_(x) exhibited good stability for 600 h operating at 10 mA·cm^(−2).Moreover,when using IrO_(x) and annealed IrO_(x) catalysts for water splitting,a cell voltage as low as 1.485 V can be achieved at 10 mA·cm^(−2).The cell can continuously operate for 200 h with negligible degradation of performance.

Neddylation plays a vital role in post-translational modification, intricately shaping the regulation of diverse biological processes, including those related to cellular immune responses. In fact, neddylation exerts control over both innate and adaptive immune systems via various mechanisms. Specifically, neddylation influences the function and survival of innate immune cells, activation of pattern recognition receptors and GMP-AMP synthase–stimulator of interferon genes pathways, as well as the release of various cytokines in innate immune reactions. Moreover, neddylation also governs the function and survival of antigen-presenting cells, which are crucial for initiating adaptive immune reactions. In addition, neddylation regulates T cell activation, proliferation, differentiation, survival, and their effector functions, thereby ensuring an appropriate adaptive immune response. In this review, we summarize the most recent findings in these aspects and delve into the connection between dysregulated neddylation events and immunological disorders, especially inflammatory diseases. Lastly, we propose future directions and potential treatments for these diseases by targeting neddylation.

The three-dimensional lattice Boltzmann method(LBM)is used to simulate the motion of a spherical squirmer in a square tube,and the steady motion velocity of a squirmer with different Reynolds numbers(Re,ranging from 0.1 to 2)and swimming types is investigated and analyzed to better understand the swimming characteristics of microorganisms in different ***,as the Reynolds number increases,the effect of the inertial forces becomes significant,disrupting the squirmer's ability to maintain its theoretical ***,as the Reynolds number increases,the structure of the flow field around the squirmer changes,affecting its velocity of ***,the swimming velocity of the squirmer exhibits a quadratic relationship with the type of swimming and the Reynolds ***,the narrow tube exerts a significant inhibitory effect on the squirmer *** addition,although chirality does not directly affect the swimming velocity of the squirmer,it can indirectly affect the velocity by changing its motion mode.
