Pleurotus ostreatus as an edible mushroom with pharmacological potential,belonging to class basidiomycetes of kingdom Mycota is known to have immense therapeutic properties.P.ostreatus contains polysaccharides,proteins,sterols,volatile oils and polyphenols.P.ostreatus has a variety of biological activities,including anti-oxidant,anti-hyperlipidemic,anti-tumor,immunoregulatory and bacteriostatic.This paper summarizes the extraction methods,chemical components and biological activities of P.ostreatus,and find it is good resources to develop medicine and health food.

Pre-harvest water deficit(PHWD)plays an important role in sugar accumulation of citrus fruit.However,the mechanism is not known well.Here,it was confirmed that PHWD promoted sucrose accumulation of citrus fruit,but had limited effect on fructose,glucose and total acid.A sucrose transporter,Cs SUT1,which localizes to the plasma membrane,was demonstrated to function in sucrose transport induced by PHWD.Compared to wild-type,Cs SUT1 overexpression in citrus calli stimulated sucrose,fructose and glucose accumulation,while its silencing in juice sacs reduced sucrose accumulation.Increased sugar accumulation in transgenic lines enhanced plant drought tolerance,and resulted in decreased electrolyte leakage,malondialdehyde and hydrogen peroxide contents,as well as increased superoxide dismutase activity and proline contents.An abscisic acid(ABA)-responsive transcription factor,Cs ABF3,was found with a same expression pattern with Cs SUT1 under PHWD.Yeast one-hybrid,electrophoretic mobility shift assay and dual-luciferase assays all revealed that Cs ABF3 directly bound with the Cs SUT1 promoter by ABA responsive elements.When Cs ABF3 was overexpressed in citrus calli,the sucrose,fructose and glucose concentration increased correspondingly.Further,transgenic studies demonstrated that Cs ABF3 could affect sucrose accumulation by regulating Cs SUT1.Overall,this study revealed a regulation of Cs ABF3 promoting Cs SUT1 expression and sucrose accumulation in response to PHWD.Our results provide a detail insight into the quality formation of citrus fruit.

As the search for effective treatments for COVID-19 continues,the high mortality rate among critically ill patients in Intensive Care Units(ICU)presents a profound challenge.This study explores the potential benefits of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)as a supplementary treatment for severe COVID-19.A total of 110 critically ill COVID-19 patients at the Intensive Care Unit(ICU)of Vulcan Hill Hospital between Feb.,2020,and April,2020(Wuhan,China)participated in this observational study.All patients received standard supportive care protocols,with a subset of 81 also receiving TCM as an adjunct treatment.Clinical characteristics during the treatment period and the clinical outcome of each patient were closely monitored and analysed.Our findings indicated that the TCM group exhibited a significantly lower mortality rate compared with the non-TCM group(16 of 81 vs 24 of 29;0.3 vs 2.3 person/month).In the adjusted Cox proportional hazards models,TCM treatment was associated with improved survival odds(Pmatory responses,as evidenced by the reduced levels of proinflammatory cytokines,and contribute to the recovery of multiple organic functions,thereby potentially increasing the survival rate of critically ill COVID-19 patients.

Background The timing and incidence of recurrent bone metastasis(BM)after radical gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer(GC)as well as the survival of these patients were not fully understood.The aim of this study was to analyze the data of an observational GC cohort and identify patients who underwent curative gastrectomy and had recurrent BM to describe and clarify the pattern and profile of BM evolution after surgery.Methods Data were retrieved from a hospital-based GC cohort,and patients who underwent upfront radical gastrectomy were selected.The time points of specific organ metastatic events were recorded,and the person-year incidence rate of metastatic events was calculated.The latency period of BM events after gastrectomy was measured and compared with that of the other two most common metastatic events,liver metastasis(LM)and distant lymph node metastasis(LNM),using analysis of variance.Propensity score matching and subgroup analysis were used for sensitivity analysis.Results A total of 1324 GC cases underwent radical gastrectomy between January 2011 and December 2021.Of these,67 BM,218 LM,and 248 LNM occurred before the last follow-up.The incidence of BM events was 1.7/100 person-years,which was approximately 3-fold lower than that of LM and distant LNM events(5.5 and 6.3 per 100 person-years,respectively).BM events had a significantly longer latency(median time,16.5 months)than LM and LNM events(11.1 and 12.0 months,respectively).Recurrent BM led to a worse prognosis(median survival,4.5 months)than those of LM and LNM events(median survival,7.7 and 7.1 months,respectively).However,no difference in overall survival after gastrectomy was observed among the groups.Conclusions Compared with other common metastatic events,BM in GC after gastrectomy is a late-onset event indicating poor survival.

The wettability of reservoir rocks saturated with oil and water is one of the most important factors influencing petrophysics and oil recovery.Minerals with different wettability constitute the overall heterogeneous wettability in rocks.Variations in sample composi-tion can be detected by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)measurements.In this paper,the method of using the magnetic susceptibility contrast between rock skeleton and saturated fluid to estimate wettability is proposed.The theoretical feasibility was firstly analyzed,and then the internal gradients caused by magnetic susceptibility contrasts were employed to interpret wettability alteration before and after ageing process in rocks.It was discovered that water and oil in the same pores experienced different internal gradients after ageing,which were associated with the differences in magnetic susceptibility con-trasts.After that,the free induction decay measurement was performed to acquire mag-netic susceptibility contrasts of artificial sandstone samples with the intermediate-wet condition.A refined NMR wettability index was presented and correlated with the Amott wettability tests.The experimental results demonstrate that the new method for deter-mining wettability is feasible.

Precise imaging is essential for the accurate diagnosis and surgical guidance of brain diseases but it is challenging due to the difficulties in crossing the blood-brain barrier(BBB),the difficulties in disease lesion targeting,and the limited contrast in the brain environment.Nano-imaging agents were characterized by functionalized modifications,high contrast,small size,and high biocompatibility,thus providing advantages in BBB crossing,brain targeting,imaging resolution,and real-time monitoring,holding great potential in brain disease imaging.Specific characteristics in brain environment and brain diseases(e.g.,marker proteins on the BBB,the pathogenic proteins in the neurodegenerative diseases or brain tumors,and the tumor and inflammatory microenvironment)provide opportunities for the functionalized nano-imaging agents to improve BBB crossing and disease targeting.Moreover,the versatile nano-imaging agents are endowed with therapeutic agents to facilitate the theranostics of brain diseases.Here,we summarized the common materials and imaging techniques of nano-imaging agents and their imaging treatment applications.We discussed their BBB penetration,environmental response for disease targeting,and therapeutic effects.We also provided insights on the advantages,challenges,and application of nano-imaging agents in detecting and treating brain diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases,brain tumors,stroke,and traumatic brain injury.These discussions will help develop nano-imaging agents-based theranostic platforms for the precise diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases.

Preoperative localization of the tumor sites and intraoperative real-time monitoring are essential for precise surgery but are meanwhile challenging due to the lack of high-resolution,easy-to-operate,and fast visualization techniques.On the other hand,tumor recurrence and metastasis after surgery greatly reduce the survival rate of patients.Intervening tumor recurrence during surgery is a future direction of tumor treatment.Nanomaterials with external condition responsiveness(light,ultrasound,and magnetic field)can accurately assist intraoperative detection and surgical resection due to their functions such as tumor cell targeting,fluorescence imaging,and real time monitoring,providing a more accurate,shorter duration,and visualization method of surgical resection.Moreover,nanomaterials are versatile and can easily be tailored for application in different tumors.Locally filled or systemically circulating nanomaterials with slow drug release and residual tumor cell-targeting ability have promising applications in inhibiting tumor recurrence.Here,we review surgical navigation and postoperative recurrence interventional nanomaterials and their landscape in guiding tumor treatment.We summarize the classification and characteristics of these nanomaterials and discuss their application in the surgical navigation and recurrence inhibition of different tumors.We also provide an outlook on the challenges and future development of nanomaterials for visualized tumor surgical navigation and postoperative recurrence inhibition.

Atomically thin Pt nanolayers were synthesized on the surface of Mo2TiC2 MXenes and used for the catalytic dehydrogenation of ethane and propane into ethylene and propylene,two important chemicals for the petrochemical industry.As compared with Pt nanoparticles,the atomically thin Pt nanolayer catalyst showed superior coke-resistance(no deactivation for 24 h),high activity(turnover frequencies(TOFs)of 0.4–1.2 s^(-1)),and selectivity(>95%)toward ethylene and propylene.The unique Pt nanolayer has a similar geometric surface to Pt nanoparticles,enabling the investigations of the electronic effect on the catalytic performance,where the geometric effect is negligible.It is found that the electronic effect plays a critical role in dehydrogenative product selectivity and catalyst stability.The metal–support interaction is found dependent on the substrate and metal components,providing wide opportunities to explore high-performance MXene-supported metallic catalysts.

数据经济发展全球化背景下,跨境数据传输愈发频繁,商业数据跨境流动在促进经济增长的同时,也引发了各国对个人隐私、国家安全的担忧。商业数据丰富的内涵特征加之外部环境的不确定性决定了商业数据跨境流动合规治理的必要性。应对现阶段在商业数据跨境流动治理方面存在的立法分散和企业合规难问题,我国应当完善商业数据合规法律体系,为企业商业数据跨境流动合规提供明确指引;设立专门、独立的数据跨境监督机构;构建商业数据跨境流动综合治理体系,为商业数据的跨境流动的监管提供切实保障;积极与世界主要国家和地区达成双边或多边合作,推动形成全球数据治理统一标准,减轻企业双向合规的压力。
