Traditional extraction methods of total saponins of Panax notoginseng include cold soaking method,water decoction method,alcohol reflux method,percolation method,macroporous resin adsorption method,and accelerated solvent extraction( ASE) method. Modern extraction methods include ultrasonic extraction,microwave assisted extraction,supercritical CO_2 extraction,microbial fermentation assisted extraction,neural network model optimized extraction method,and multi-stage countercurrent extraction method. This paper discussed principles of these methods and compared their advantages and disadvantages.

[Objectives] To screen the active components and core targets of Gastrodia elata Bl. based on network pharmacology, and further explore its potential molecular mechanism in preventing and treating chronic heart failure (CHF).[Methods] The candidate active constituents of G. elata Bl. were screened by HERB, ETCM (Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine) database, and bioinformatics analysis tool BATMAN-TCM platform, Swiss Target Prediction platform was used to predict compound targets, and CHF disease targets were searched in GeneCards and OMIM databases;the intersection targets were taken, and the String database and Cytoscape 3.10.0 software were used for protein-protein interaction (PPI) and topological analysis to obtain key active constituents and core target genes;the online tool bioinformatics platform was used for gene ontology (GO) function and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis of common targets. Using the active constituent of G. elata Bl. as ligand and its core target as receptor, molecular docking visualization was carried out.[Results] 136 common targets of active constituents of G. elata Bl. and CHF were screened out, which mainly involved AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, lipid and atherosclerosis, interleukin-17 signaling pathway, non-alcoholic fatty liver, diabetic cardiomyopathy, cancer and other signaling pathways. The core target proteins mainly included albumin, catalytic subunit α activated by protein kinase CAMP, insulin gene, interleukin-1β, tumor necrosis factor, estrogen receptor 1, interferon γ, etc. The results of molecular docking showed that the ligand of the compound had good affinity with the target receptor.[Conclusions] G. elata Bl. prevents and treats CHF through multiple components, multiple targets, and multiple pathways. [Objectives] The aim was to study the antioxidant activity of different solvent extracts of Blumea Megacephala in vitro. [Methods] The removal rates of DPPH free radicals and ABTS free radicals and the reduction capacity of Fe^(3+) by ethanol extract( EE),acetone extract( AE) and ethyl acetate extract( EAE) of Blumea Megacephala were detected. [Results]The three extracts of Blumea Megacephala had certain antioxidant activity,of which the antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate extract was the strongest and has great potential for development.[Conclusions]The study can provide scientific reference for the deep research on the antioxidant activity of Blumea Megacephala.

Protective Effect of Ethanol Extract from Sweet Potato Leaves on CCL_(4)-Induced Liver Injury in Mice

[Objectives]To investigate the protective effect of ethanol extract from sweet potato leaves on liver injury induced by CCl_(4)in mice.[Methods]25 ICR mice were randomly divided into blank group,model group,high-dose extract group(200 mg/kg),low-dose extract group(100 mg/kg)and positive control group(2 mg/kg colchicine),with 5 mice in each *** groups except the blank group were given intraperitoneal injection of 20%CCl 4 olive oil solution(2 mL/kg),and the blank group was given the same dose of olive oil solution three times a *** 4 weeks,each administration group was given the corresponding dose of drugs(10 mL/kg),and the blank group and model group were given the corresponding amount of normal saline for 2 *** the last intragastric administration,fasting was required,but water was allowed,blood was taken from eyeballs,and upper serum was taken by static *** AST,ALT,CRP,IL-6 and SOD levels were detected by the kit.[Results]Compared with the blank group,the serum AST and ALT levels in the model group were significantly increased;compared with the model group,the ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves could decrease the levels of ALT,AST,CRP,IL-6 and increase the level of SOD in serum.[Conclusions]The ethanol extract of sweet potato leaves had protective effect on the mice with liver injury induced by CCl_(4),and its mechanism may be to protect the liver by lowering enzymes,inhibiting inflammation and antioxidant stress.

[Objectives] To study the in vitro antioxidant activity of resveratrol in peanut shell.[Methods] The crude extracts and purified substances were obtained by ultrasonic extraction and extraction,*** scavenging ability and reducing ability of DPPH free radicals,hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals were studied and compared with BHT and Vc.[Results]Regardless of crude extract or purified substances,resveratrol in peanut shells had reducing ability,but the crude extract had greater reducing ability than purified substances,Vc and BHT,and the purified substances had greater reducing ability than *** the same concentration,the effects of purified substances on scavenging DPPH free radicals were better than BHT,and the scavenging rate of crude extracts for superoxide radicals was higher than BHT,purified substances,and Vc;the purified substances had certain scavenging effects on the DPPH free radicals,hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals;the scavenging effects of crude extract on superoxide radicals increased with the increase of the concentration,but the scavenging effects on DPPH free radicals and hydroxyl radicals dropped with the increase of the concentration.[Conclusions]Crude extracts and purified substances of resveratrol in peanut shell have antioxidant activity.

[Objectives]To explore the effects of the compatibility of Radix Puerariae and Radix Rehmanniae on blood glucose and blood lipids in diabetic mouses.[Methods]Diabetic mouse model was *** body weight and fasting blood glucose of mice were measured after 7 and 14 d of administration,and the biochemical indicators of blood lipids(TC,HDL-C,and LDL-C)were detected after 14 d of administration.[Results]Compared with the Radix Puerariae group and Radix Rehmanniae group,the compatibility group(1:2)had the best hypoglycemic effect(P<0.05),and TC and LDL-C in the compatibility group(2:1)significantly decreased(P<0.05),while HDL-C in the compatibility group(1:1)significantly increased(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Radix Puerariae,Radix Rehmanniae and their combination can reduce the blood glucose of diabetic *** compatibility group(1:2)had a significant hypoglycemic effect(P<0.05),and LDL-C in the compatibility group(2:1)significantly declined,while HDL-C in the compatibility group(1:1)rose significantly.

[Objectives]To investigate the acute toxicity of petroleum ether extract,n-butanol extract,ethyl acetate extract and water extract to mice.[Methods]The medium lethal dose(LD50)in mice could not be determined,so the maximum dose method was used for *** were not fed but allowed to drink water for 16 h before the *** were 74 SPF Kunming Mice,half male and half female,and it was divided into extract group and blank control *** toxicity and death were recorded after intragastric administration and regular close *** any mice died,the dead mice were *** changes of heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney,brain,stomach,small intestine and other organs were observed with the naked *** the end of the 14 d observation period,the surviving mice in each group were killed and *** gross pathological changes of the main organs were observed with the naked eye according to the same method mentioned above.[Results]There were no obvious toxic symptoms and no death in the mice.[Conclusions]The maximum doses of petroleum ether extract,n-butanol extract,ethyl acetate extract and water extract in mice were 1.61,1.71,1.65 and 1.79 g/L,*** it was found that the quarterly tests of petroleum ether extract,n-butanol extract,ethyl acetate extract and water extract suggested that the medicine was safe.

Hypoglycemic Effect of Radix Et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Guixi Green Tea and Their Compatibility on Mice

[Objectives]To explore the hypoglycemic effect of Radix Et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Guixi green tea and their compatibility on mice,so as to provide more options for the adjuvant treatment of diabetes and improve the comprehensive utilization value of Guixi green tea.[Methods]After being fed adaptively for 7 d,60 SPF-grade male mice were intraperitoneally injected with alloxouracil(180 mg/kg)to induce hyperglycemia model,from which 35 mice with a successful model were *** were randomly divided into 5 groups(Danshen group,green tea group,compatible group,positive control group and blank control group),with 7 animals in each *** mice in all groups were administered according to the dose of 200 mg/kg once a day for 15 *** the last administration,their body weight was measured on the 15 th day after fasting for 12 h,and their fasting blood glucose was measured by tail clipping.[Results]After modeling,the mice in each group showed typical hyperglycemia symptoms,namely obvious polydipsia,polyphagia,polyuria and weight *** with the blank control group,Danshen group and green tea group had obvious hypoglycemic effect(P<0.05),and compatible group had significant hypoglycemic effect(P<0.01).Compared with the blank control group,the weight loss of diabetic mice could also be inhibited in green tea group and compatible group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Danshen,Guixi green tea and their compatibility had the effect of lowering blood sugar,among which the compatible group had the most obvious effect.

Extraction of Flavonoids from Leaves of Coix lacryma-jobi L.

[Objectives] To extract the flavonoids from leaves of Coix lacryma-jobi L. [Methods] Ethanol extraction method was adopted,spectrophotometry was used,and single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were carried out to study the effects of ethanol percentage,extraction temperature,solid-to-liquid ratio and extraction time on the extraction of total flavonoids from leaves of C. lacryma-jobi L.[Results] The order of 4 factors influencing the extraction of flavonoids from leaves of C. lacryma-jobi L. was: solid-to-liquid ratio > extraction time > ethanol percentage > extraction temperature. When the extraction temperature was 70℃,the extraction time was 1. 5 h and the solid-liquid ratio was 1: 10,the ethanol percentage was 60%,the extraction effect was the best,extraction of flavonoids was 0. 107 5 mg/m L.[Conclusions] This study is expected to provide a theoretical basis for further development and utilization of C. lacryma-jobi L.
