Maintaining the integrity and longevity of structures is essential in many industries,such as aerospace,nuclear,and *** achieve the cost-effectiveness of large-scale systems in petroleum drilling,a strong emphasi. on structural durability and monitoring is *** study focuses on the mechanical vibrations that occur in rotary drilling systems,which have a substantial impact on the structural integrity of drilling *** study speciﬁcally investigates axial,torsi.nal,and lateral vibrations,which might lead to negative consequences such as bit-bounce,chaotic whirling,and high-frequency *** events not only hinder the efﬁciency of drilling but also lead to exhaustion and harm to the system’s components si.ce they are difﬁcult to be detected and controlled in real *** study investigates the dynamic interactions of these vibrations,speciﬁcally in their high-frequency modes,usi.gﬁeld data obtained from measurement while ***ﬁndings have demonstrated the effect of strong coupling between the high-frequency modes of these vibrations on drilling sys-tem *** obtained results highlight the importance of consi.ering the interconnected impacts of these vibrations when desi.ning and implementing robust control ***,integrating these compo-nents can increase the durability of drill bits and drill strings,as well as improve the ability to monitor and detect ***,by exploiting theseﬁndings,the assessment of structural resi.ience in rotary drilling systems can be ***,the study demonstrates the capacity of structural health monitoring to improve the quality,dependability,and efﬁciency of rotary drilling systems in the petroleum industry.

Antibacterial activity of various honey types of Algeria against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes

Objective:To assess the in vitro antibacterial activity of honey from different geographical location on Gram negative ***:Different concentrations(Undiluted honey,10%, 30%,50%and 70%wt/vol) of honey were studied in vitro usi.g Staphylococcus aureus(***) and Streptococcus pyogenes(***),briefly,two-fold dilutions of honey solutions were tested to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) against each type of microorganism,followed by more assays within a narrower dilution range to obtain more precise MIC *** were determined by both visual inspection and spectrophotometric assay at 620 *** honey samples were compared with standard antibiotics like ampicillin,penicillin G,amoxicillin,gentamycin,tobramycin,erythromycin and chloramphenicol was determined by the disc diffusi.n ***:The diameter of zone of the inhibition(ZDI) of honey has various concentrations tested for the isolates ranged 0-46 mm for ***,0-44 mm for *** the MIC(%) ranged 12%-95%,25%-73%***:Algeria honey,in-vitro,possess antibacterial activity.

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) are subjected to various transformation processes (chemical,physi.al and biological processes) in the environment,potentially affecting their bioavailability and toxic ***,the si.e variation of TiO2 NPs during aging process and subsequent effects in mammalian cells are largely *** aim of this study was to illustrate the adverse effects of TiO2 NPs in different si.es (5,15 and si.e in TiO2 NPs stock *** cytotoxicity of fresh TiO2 NPs increased in a si.e-dependent manner;in contrast,their genotoxicity decreased with the increasi.g si.es of *** si.nificant toxicity difference was observed in cells exposed to either fresh or 60 day-aged TiO2 *** Fresh and aged TiO2 NPs efficiently induced mitochondrial dysfunction and activated Caspase-3/7 in a si.e-dependent *** mitochondrial-DNA deficient (ρ°) AL cells,we further discovered that mitochondrial dysfunction made si.nificant contribution to the si.e-dependent toxicity induced by TiO2 NPs during the aging *** together,our data indicated that TiO2 NPs could si.nificantly induced the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity in an aging time-independent and si.e-dependent manner,which were triggered by mitochondrial *** study suggested the necessi.y to include si.e as an additional parameter for the cautious monitoring of TiO2 NPs disposal before entering the environment.

Atsttrin reduces lipopolysaccharide-induced neuroinflammation by inhibiting the nuclear factor kappa B si.naling pathway

Progranulin is closely related to neuronal survival in a neuroinflammatory mouse model and attenuates inflammatory reactions. Atsttrin is an engineered protein composed of three progranulin fragments and has been shown to have an effect si.ilar to that of progranulin. Atsttrin has anti-inflammatory actions in multiple arthritis mouse models, and it protects against further arthritis development. However, whether Atsttrin has a role in neuroinflammation remains to be elucidated. In this study, we produced a neuroinflammatory mouse model by intracerebroventricular injection of 1 μL lipopolysaccharide(10 μg/μL). Atsttrin(2.5 mg/kg) was administered via intraperitoneal injection every 3 days over a period of 7 days before intracerebroventricular injection of 1 μL lipopolysaccharide(10 μg/μL). In addition, astrocyte cultures were treated with 0, 100 or 300 ng/mL lipopolysaccharide, with 200 ng/mL Atsttrin si.ultaneously. Immunohistochemistry, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction were performed to examine the protein and mRNA levels of inflammatory mediators and to assess activation of the nuclear factor kappa B si.naling pathway. Progranulin expressi.n in the brain of wild-type mice and in astrocyte cultures was increased after lipopolysaccharide administration. The protein and mRNA expressi.n levels of tumor necrosi. factor-α, interleukin-1β and inducible nitric oxide synthase were increased in the brain of progranulin knockout mice after lipopolysaccharide administration. Atsttrin treatment reduced the lipopolysaccharide-induced increase in the protein and mRNA levels of tumor necrosi. factor-α, interleukin-1β, matrix metalloproteinase-3 and inducible nitric oxide synthase in the brain of progranulin knockout mice. Atsttrin also reduced the expressi.n of cyclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase and matrix metalloproteinase 3 mRNA in lipopolysaccharide-treated astrocytes in vitro, and decreased the conc

Niobium telluride(NbTe_(2)),a kind of few-layer two-dimensi.nal(2D)transi.ion metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)material,has been theoretically predicted with nonlinear absorption properties and excellent optical ***,we experimentally demonstrated an Er-doped fiber(EDF)laser based NbTe_(2)as saturable absorber(SA).Few-layer NbTe_(2)nanosheets were successfully prepared by adopting the commonly used liquid-phase exfoliation(LPE)*** nonlinear optical response of highly stable few-layer NbTe_(2)was investigated through an open-aperture Z-scan laser measurement,the nonlinear absorption coefficient was 2.45×10^(-11)m/*** Q-switched and mode-locked operation centered at 1559 nm were recorded based on NbTe_(2)*** pulse duration was varied from 4.88 ms to 1.75 ms,and the adjustable range of repetition frequency is changed from 44.01 kHz to 64.12 kHz in passi.ely Q-switched ***,a constant repetition rate of 5.33 MHz and pulse width of 2.67 ps were observed in mode-locked *** experimental results fully reveal the nonlinear optical prop-erties of NbTe_(2)used in pulsed fiber lasers and broaden its ultrafast applications in the optics field.

Sol-gel synthesi.,properties and protein loading/delivery capacity of hollow bioactive glass nanospheres with large hollow cavity and mesoporous shell

Hollow nanospheres exhibit unique properties and find a wide interest in several potential applications such as drug ***,novel hollow bioactive glass nanospheres(HBGn)with large hollow cavity and large mesopores in their outer shells were synthesi.ed by a si.ple and facile one-pot ultrasound assi.ted sol-gel method usi.g PEG as the core ***,the produced HBGn exhibited large hollow cavity with ~43 nm in diameter and mesoporous shell of ~37 nm in thickness and 7 nm pore si.e along with nanosphere si.e around 117 *** confirmed the presence of si.and Ca elements at the surface of the HBGn outer ***,HBGn showed high protein loading capacity(~570 mg of Cyto c per 1 g of HBGn)in addition to controlled protein release over 5 *** also demonstrated a good in vitro capability of releasi.g calcium(Ca^(2+):170 ppm)and si.icate(si._(4)^(4-):78 ppm)ions in an aqueous medium over 2 weeks under physi.logical-like *** in vitro growth of bone-like hydroxyapatite nanocrystals was exhibited by HBGn during the soaking in SBF.A possi.le underlying mechanism involving the formation of spherical aggregates(coils)of PEG was proposed for the formation process of HBGn.

Planar Channelling Criticalities of MeV Protons in si.Crystal： si.ulations, Evaluation and Applications

We reports a phase-space structure of MeV proton beam planar channelled along {110} planes in si.crystal usi.g si.ulation results with the help of a computer code FLUX. The aim is to understand channelling conditions suitable for disorder measurement in crystals. Phase-space distribution of a planar channelled proton beam evolutes in a systematic fashion when it travels into the crystal. Planar channelled beam oscillates between phase-like and space-like conditions in which a part of the beam becomes under phase and space criticalities. These criticality conditions in planar channelling are analysed, explained and discussed with the perspective of defect measurement in crystals.
