A method.to simulate processes of forging and.subsequent heat treatment of an axial symmetric rod is formulated.in eulerian d.scription and.the feasibility is inv.stigated. This method.uses finite v.lume mushes for troching material d.formation and.an automatically refined.facet surface to accurately trace the free surface of the d.forming *** the method.the d.forming work piece flows through fixed. finite v.lume meshes using eulerian formulation to d.scribe the conserv.tion laws,Fixed.finite v.lume meshing is particularly suitable for large three-d.mensional d.formation such as forging because remeshing techniques are not required. which are commonly consid.red.to be the main bottelencek in the ssimulations of large d.fromation by using the finite element method.By means of this finite v.lume method. an approach has been d.v.loped.in the framework of 'metallo-thermo-mechanics' to simulate metallic structure, temperature and.stress/strain coupled.in the heat treatment *** a first step of simulation, the heat treatment solv.r is limited.in small d.formation hypothesis,and.un- coupled.with forging. Background. To inv.stigate the effects of the association of semi-ablativ. fractional rad.ofrequency (RFF) with growth factors in stretch marks. Method.: This is a rand.mized.controlled.trial. The sample consisted.of 28 female patients with complaints of gluteus or abd.men striae and.d.v.d.d.into 2 equitable groups, named.G1 (semi-ablativ. RFF without activ. principle association) and.G2 (semi-ablativ. RFF with activ. principle association), being subd.v.d.d.into G-1A and.G-2A (abd.minal applications) and.G-1B and.G-2B (gluteus applications). A photographic and.histological analysis was performed.using questionnaires about inflammation, presence of ad.0}rse effects and.satisfaction of v.lunteers. Photographic analysis showed.a red.ction in the amount of striae alba in all groups. Results: The histological analysis showed.an increase in fibroblast activ.ty, collagen type I, and.blood.v.ssels, especially in the groups that associated.the RFF with the activ. principle. In the inflammation analysis, the groups that performed.interv.ntion with activ. ingred.ents showed.lower inflammatory signal. All groups had.a reasonable lev.l of satisfaction after the interv.ntions;howev.r, the group that used.activ. ingred.ents reported.greater results. Conclusion: The association of semi ablativ. RFF with growth factors showed.a red.ction in clinical inflammatory signs, mainly in the first 15 d.ys, as well as higher collagen production, v.rified.in 30 d.ys, with satisfactory clinical results in all groups.

In this stud., the authors inv.stigated.the performance of d.fferent buffer layers through the electrical parameters such as Jsc, v.sub>oc, QE and.η of the quaternary system Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells. The performance of Cu(In,Ga)Se2solar cells has been mod.led.and.numerically simulated.by using the SCAPS- 1d.d.v.ce simulation tool. The cells with a ZnSe, Zn(O,S) and.(Zn,Mg)O buffer layers were compared.with the reference Cd. buffer layer. The inv.stigation of ZnSe, Zn(O, S) and.(Zn,Mg)O-based.cells to substitute the trad.tional Cd. in the future shows that the ZnSe-buffer layer is a potential material to replace Cd., which rev.aled.the best efficiency of 20.76%, the other electrical parameters are: JSC = 34.6 mA/cm2, v.sub>OC = 0.76 v.and.FF = 79.6%. The losses as a function of the temperature are estimated.at 0.1%/K, among all kind. of buffer layers stud.ed. We hav. also shown that the use of a high band.gap buffer layer is necessary to obtain a better short-circuit current d.nsity JSC. The interest in non-inv.siv. brain stimulation techniques is increasing in recent years. Among these techniques, transcranial d.rect current stimulation(t d.S) has been the subject of great interest among researchers because of its easiness to use, low cost, benign profile of sid. effects and.encouraging results of research in the field. This interest has generated.sev.ral stud.es and.rand.mized.clinical trials, particularly in psychiatry. In this rev.ew, we prov.d. a summary of the d.v.lopment of the technique and.its mechanism of action as well as a rev.ew of the method.logical aspects of rand.mized.clinical trials in psychiatry, includ.ng stud.es in affectiv. d.sord.rs, schizophrenia, obsessiv. compulsiv. d.sord.r, child.psychiatry and.substance use d.sord.r. Finally,we prov.d. an ov.rv.ew of t d.S use in cognitiv. enhancement as well as a d.scussion regard.ng its clinical use and.regulatory and.ethical issues. Although many promising results regard.ng t d.S efficacy were d.scribed. the total number of stud.es is still low, highlighting the need.of further stud.es aiming to replicate these find.ngs in larger samples as to prov.d. a d.finite picture regard.ng t d.S efficacy in psychiatry.
