Hot corrosion behavior of Sm_(2)(Co, Fe, Cu,Zr)17-type high-temperature magnetic alloy without and with a protective coating of Ni and Ni/Cr bilayer at 500 ℃ in a corrosive mixture of 75 wt% Na_(2)SO_(4)–NaCl for 100 h was reported in this paper. The obtained results of timedependent weight change established the parabolic growth of oxidized surface of bare magnets(8.87 mg·cm^(-2)),which caused a rapid loss of magnetic properties measured both at room and high temperatures(500 ℃). X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis revealed the growth of oxides for bare magnet and Cr–oxides(Cr_(2) O_(3)), top layer of Ni/Cr bilayer coating, but in the case of single coating, Ni–sulfides formation indicated penetration of sulfur, which is further verified by electron probe microanalysis with energy dispersive spectroscopy(EPMA/EDS) *** showed that bilayer-coated samples(Ni/Cr) performed better than Ni-coated and bare samples.

This paper presents the unsteady magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a generalized Burgers’ fluid between two side walls perpendicular to a plate. The flow is generated from rest at time ?induced by stress applied on the bottom plate. The stress is assumed to be like sawtooth pulses with quadratic edges. The solutions obtained by means of the Laplace, and Fourier cosine and sine transforms are presented as a sum between the corresponding Newtonian and non-Newtonian contributions. Graphs are sketched for various parameters of interest.

A complex Laboratory Developed Test(LDT)is a clinical test developed within a single *** is typically configured from many fea-ture constraints from clinical repositories,which are part of the existing Lab-oratory Information Management System(LIMS).Although these clinical repositories are automated,support for managing patient information with test results of an LDT is also integrated within the existing ***,the support to configure LDTs design needs to be made available even in standard LIMS *** manual configuration of LDTs is a complex process and can generate configuration inconsistencies because many constraints between features can remain *** is a risky process and can lead patients to undergo unnecessary *** proposed an optimized solution(opt-LDT)based on Genetic Algorithms to automate the configuration and resolve the inconsistencies in ***-LDT encodes LDT configuration as an optimization problem and generates a consistent configuration that satisfies the constraints of the *** tested and validated opt-LDT for a local secondary care hospital in a real healthcare *** results,averaged over ten runs,show that opt-LDT resolves 90%of inconsistencies while taking between 6 and 6.5 s for each ***,positive feedback based on a subjective questionnaire from clinicians regarding the performance,acceptability,and efficiency of opt-LDT motivates us to present our results for regulatory approval.

柬埔寨目前共有50余所华校,其中端华学校、民生学校、崇正学校、广肇学校称之为柬埔寨四大华校。这四所华校在生源、办学规模、教学质量上等都占有优势。民生学校作为柬埔寨较权威的华校之一,自从1999年复课以来,也同其他华校一样一直沿用传统的办学模式,误把“汉语”当作学生的第一语言来进行教授,而采用的教学方法主要以“教授型”为主。由于民生学校的语言定性偏差而给教学上带来了诸多问题,例如:重复教学、过于注重语言的本体,而忽视语言的技能等,导致该校学生难于用汉语来进行交际。目前民生学校正处于瓶颈阶段,该校的办学体系不完整(最高年级是九年级),且学历不被承认。基于民生学校的自身特色,笔者认为对该校进行研究,颇有研究价值。本文以民生学校的校领导、本土中文教师及学生作为研究对象。通过资料收集、访谈、问卷调查等方法,探讨及分析了该校的语言定性偏差所带来的问题,试图帮助民生学校寻找解决问题的方法。研究得出的结论是民生学校该走向改革的新道路——办成全日制柬中双语学校,以柬文的教育体系作为主流(学生可以参加全柬的高考,以其作为升学依据),而汉语则作好与柬文的接应工作,并以第二语言教学法进行教授。办成全日制柬中双语学校有助于民生学校早日纳入主流教育体系,同时还可以让民生学校摆脱“学历不被承认”的困扰,而且学生缺课严重、年龄参差不齐等问题也能解决。

BACKGROunD Castleman's disease(CD)is a rare lymphoproliferative,emulating both benign and malignant *** diagnosis of CD is formulated upon the combination of clinical and laboratory criteria and ultimately confirmed by histopathological *** to its rarity,CD presents a challenge in treatment selection,with available options encompassing surgery,chemotherapy,and autologous stem cell ***,studies suggest that surgical resection of the lesion is the most effective treatment modality,especially for unicentric CD(UCD).CASE SUMMARY Here,we describe the case of a 25-year-old woman who presented with painless left thigh swelling for 10 *** had been following a low-fat diet to lose weight and had normal laboratory *** resonance imaging revealed a wellcircumscribed,demarcated cystic lesion located in the left inguinal region with eccentrically positioned signal void vascular structures,measuring 4.3 cm×3 cm×3.2 cm,likely of lymphoid *** patient underwent surgical resection,and the final histopathology showed a vascular proliferation and hyalinization of the vessel walls,along with atretic germinal centers traversed by penetrating vessels,consistent with *** patient was discharged home one day after the procedure in good condition,with a follow-up appointment scheduled in our outpatient *** Although surgical resection is the mainstay for UCD,a multidisciplinary approach is needed due the lack of specific diagnostic features and treatments.

We present the first phase R&D for the 800 kW cw, 650MHz klystron for the future circular electron-positron collider (CEPC) project in China. The CEPC requires 192 klystrons and it is desired to be designed in the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, and manufactured domestically. Therefore, we present the manufacturing schedule of this project; the three-stage development from the beam test tube to the klystron having a high efficiency structure. Design of the beam test tube that comprises electron gun and collector is presented. First, gun simulation having a modulating anode is performed using DGun software. The uniform beam trajectories with a beam perveance of 0.64 mu A/V-3/2 are simulated. We employ a Ba-dispenser cathode of radius 35mm with phi 10 hole at the center and obtain a current density on cathode less than 0.45 A/cm(2). The beam trajectories are also simulated over beam test tube of length about 2m with a magnetic field of 213 Gauss. Thermal analysis of the collector is performed using the ANSIS-CFX code and hence the cooling structure is determined. Mechanical design is almost carried out and it is in manufacturing stage.

Morphotaxonomy and seasonal abundance of dinoflagellates of the genera Prorocentrum and Mesoporos （Prorocentrales） were studied from nutrient-rich waters, Karachi Harbor and the mouth of the Manora Channel, Pakistan during May 2002-July 2003. Using both light and scanning electron microscopy, 13 species of Prorocentrales were identified according to cell shape, size, ornamentation of thecal plates, and architecture of apical platelets, apical pore area, marginal pores, and intercalary bands. P. sigmoides, P. arcuatum, P. scutellum, P. donghaiense, P. balticum, P. minimum, P. emarginatum, P. lima, P. faustiae, and Mesoporos perforatus constitute new records for sindh coast of Pakistan. The most abundant species were P. minimum/P, balticum （4.5x103 cells/L）, P. micans （1.1~103 cells/L）, P. gracile/P, sigmoides （2.5 x 102 cells/L） and P. donghaiense （6.6 x 103 cells/L） at temperatures of 29-31 ~C and salinities of 35-40. Maximum abundance was observed in winter and lower abundance in summer. There was no significant change in the distribution of species between stations except for the benthic species which occurred close to Karachi Harbor waters. Significant positive correlations were observed between Prorocentrum spp. and temperature （R2=0.27） and negative correlations with salinity （R2=-0.32） except for P. minimum and P. emarginatum which has negative correlation with temperature （R2=-0.24） and positive with salinity （R2=0.08, 0.19）. The finding of potential okadaic-acid producing species of benthic Prorocentrum call for monitoring for possible human health problems in this region.

Effect of Cumulative Nanosecond Laser Pulses on the Plasma Emission Intensity and Surface Morphology of Pt-and Ag-Ion Deposited Silicon

In this work, the laser induced plasma plume characteristics and surface morphology of Pt- and Ag-ion deposited silicon were studied. The deposited silicon was exposed to cumulative laser pulses. The plasma plume images produced by each laser shot were captured through a computer controlled image capturing system and analyzed with image-J software. The integrated optical emission intensity of both samples showed an increasing trend with increasing pulses. Agion deposited silicon showed higher optical emission intensity as compared to Pt-ion deposited silicon, suggesting that more damage occurred to the silicon by Ag ions, which was confirmed by SRIM/TRIM simulations. The surface morphologies of both samples were examined by optical microscope showing thermal, exfoliational and hydrodynamical sputtering processes along with the re-deposition of the material, debris and heat affected zones＇ formation. The crater of Ption deposited silicon was deeper but had less lateral damage than Agion deposited silicon. The novel results clearly indicated that the ion deposited silicon surface produced incubation centers, which led to more absorption of incident light resulting into a higher emission intensity from the plasma plume and deeper crater formation as compared to pure silicon. The approach can be effectively utilized in the laser induced breakdown spectroscopy technique, which endures poor limits of detection.
