Influence of phytochemicals in piper betle linn leaf extract on wound healing

Background:Wound healing has being extensively investigated over the *** impairment is caused by many reasons including increasing of free-radicals-mediated damage,delaying in granulation tissue formation,reducing in angiogenesis and decreasing in collagen *** facts consequently lead to chronic wound *** betle Linn(Betle)leaves have been folklore used as an ingredient of drugs for cutaneous wound ***,the effect of betle leaf on wound healing is not yet well *** this study,we aimed to investigate the healing efficacy of methanol leaf extract of Piper betle Linn on proliferation of fibroblast NIH3T3 cells as well as full-thickness burn and excision wounds in swiss ***:Scratch wound healing assays were conducted to examine the effects of betle leaf extract on healing activity of fibroblast *** and excision wounds on swiss mouse skins were created for investigating the wound healing progress caused by the betle leaf ***(MDA)was also evaluated to examine the products of lipid hydroperoxide(LPO)under conditions of with or without betle leaf extract ***:The results of this study showed that Piper betle Linn leaf extract in methanol increased proliferation of NIH3T3 cells and promoted wound healing in vitro and in vivo with both burn wound and excision wound *** addition,this extract significant decreased level of malondialdehyde(MDA)in liver of treated-mice compared with that in non-treated ***:Our results suggest that Piper betle Linn can be used as an ingredient in developing natural origin drugs for treatment of cutaneous wounds.

Time-stamped data is fast and constantly growing and it contains significant information thanks to the quick development ofmanagement platforms and systems based on the Internet and cutting-edge information communication *** the time series data including time series prediction has many practical *** new techniques were developed for use with various types of time series data in the prediction *** those,this work suggests a unique strategy to enhance predicting quality on time-series datasets that the timecycle matters by fusing deep learning methods with fuzzy *** order to increase forecasting accuracy on such type of time-series data,this study proposes integrating deep learning approaches with fuzzy ***,it combines the long short-termmemory network with the complex fuzzy set theory to create an innovative complex fuzzy long short-term memory model(CFLSTM).The proposed model adds a meaningful representation of the time cycle element thanks to a complex fuzzy set to advance the deep learning long short-term memory(LSTM)technique to have greater power for processing time series *** on standard common data sets and real-world data sets published in the UCI Machine Learning Repository demonstrated the proposedmodel’s utility compared to other well-known forecasting *** results of the comparisons supported the applicability of our proposed strategy for forecasting time series data.

The main aim of this paper is to present an analytical approach on the postbuckling for torsionally loaded sandwich carbon nanotube(CNT)reinforced cylindrical shells with the auxetic *** considered shells consist of three layers,external and internal CNT reinforced layers,and the auxetic lattice core made by isotropic *** homogenization model for honeycomb auxetic lattice core is utilized,and the equilibrium equations are formulated based on the nonlinear Donnell’s thin shell theory with von Karman geometrical *** three terms of deflection are considered,the Airy’s stress function and Galerkin’s method are utilized,the explicit expression of critical buckling of torsionally loaded shells and load-deflection expression of postbuckling states are *** effects of two carbon nanotube reinforced layers,the auxetic core layer,the volume fraction of carbon nanotube on the torsional buckling behavior are examined and remarked.

Cultural Identities and Integration of the Hakkas in Buu Long （Bien Hoa, Vietnam） Through the Transformation of the Clan Worships

East Asia during 17th to early 20th century witnessed many mass migration flows of South Chinese into Southeast Asia and other parts of the world, including Vietnam. They are the Cantonese, Hokkiens, Hainanese, Chiuchow Hoklo Clan, and Hakkas. Over the course of long history and with the impact of the natural environment and historical-social backgrounds of each country in Southeast Asia, the South Chinese communities have settled and created their livings under different forms. this long process includes the obvious ＂fossilization＂ of immigrant culture and the interesting cultural transformation to achieve harmonious and sustainable development. The Hakkas in Buu Long （Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, and Vietnam） migrated from the Stone-Carfting Prefecture of Huiyang, Guangdong Province （South China） to live preferably in Buu Long granite mountain area to continue their traditional professions and maintain their migrant culture. They brought to Vietnam the cult of three Professional Masters： Gods of stone-crafting, carpenter, and Blacksmithing. However, under the strong impacts of French colonial policies and local social movement in the early 20th century, the Hakkas changed the form of the cult of three Professional Masters into the cult of Goddess Tian Hou in order to attain the full integration with the other Chinese communities and with the local Vietnamese, socially and economically. Throughout the cultural shift, both the continuity and the change have been proven as the inevitable way to balance two opposite poles： Cultural identities and social integration.

Effect of sintering temperature on the dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties of SnO_(2)-doped Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.8)K_(0.2))_(0.5)TiO_(3)lead-free ceramics

Sintered lead-free Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.8)K_(0.2)T_(0.5)(Ti0:96Sn0:04TO_(3)ceramics(BNKTS)have been fabricated via a solid-state *** effect of sintering temperature on the structural,morphological,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties of BNKTS ceramics was investigated,and it was found that the electrical properties of the synthesized ceramics increased with the increase in the sintering temperature,and the highest values were achieved at 1100℃.The ceramics sintered at the optimized temperature of 1100℃exhibited the best physical,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties,namely,high density(the relative density,ρ=5:88 ***^(-3),approximate to 96.7%of the theoretical value),high densification factor(DF=0:93),high dielectric constant(ε_(r)=1215),low dielectric loss(tanδ=0:051),highest dielectric constant(ε_(max)=4335),high remanent polarization(Pr=9:5μ***^(-2),high coercive field(E_(c)=14:3 kV/cm),high energy storage density(0.12 J/cm^(3),and high energy storage efficiency(41.7%at 46.3 kV/cm).

Incorporation of hydroxyapatite in crosslinked gelatin/chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol) hybrids utilizing as reinforced composite sponges, and their water absorption ability

The crosslinked gelatin/chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol)/hydroxyapatite(GEL/CTS/PVA/HAp, GCPH) sponges were fabricated by a freeze-drying method to yield the reinforced composite sponges with proper features. The porosity value and pore size of the crosslinked GCPH sponges reached ～80% and 50–100 μm, respectively, which can be an appropriate range to allow cells to migrate into the reinforced composite sponges in the tissue engineering technology. Besides, the proper bonding presence between HAp particles and the crosslinked polymeric matrix or the crosslinked network formation between the polymers were also proved through fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and thermal gravimetric(TG/DTG) analysis. Owing to incorporation of HAp particles and good distribution of HAp particles inside the crosslinked polymeric matrix, their mechanical properties were improved through the determination of compression tests. Concomitantly, their water absorption ability reached effectively in both the distilled water and Na Cl solution, and their recovery also maintained well for 10 absorbing–squeezing cycles to be considered as an effective reusability for the crosslinked sponge ***, the crosslinked GCPH sponge prepared in the present study can become a potential candidate to apply especially in the biomedical/medical applications and tissue engineering technology.

Objective:To investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Solanum procumbens on complete Freund’s adjuvantinduced arthritis rat ***:We isolated and identified five compounds in the ethanolsoluble Solanum procumbens extract(SP)with anti-inflammatory effects,including ursolic acid,β-sitosterol,hexadecanoic acid,cisvaccenic acid,and vanillic ***,we investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of SP on rheumatoid arthritis symptoms,including paw volumes,local temperatures,withdrawal latency,and mechanical withdrawal threshold at the hind paw and white blood cell(WBC)number from complete Freund’s adjuvant-induced arthritis rat ***:We have successfully established a complete Freund’s adjuvant-induced arthritis rat model at a low dose(1 mg/mL).SP extract significantly reduced paw volumes(P<0.05),prolonged withdrawal latencies(P<0.05),decreased local temperature,and increased the mechanical withdrawal threshold(P<0.05),but only SP extract at the dose of 300 mg/kg significantly decreased WBC ***:SP extract could be a potential medication candidate with anti-inflammatory effects for arthritis,but it requires further investigation into the mechanism of the SP and its effectiveness on other models as well as clinical trials.

The mechanical properties of unidirectional natural fiber-reinforced composites are generally affected by several processing parameters during compression *** study investigates the effects of processing temperature,time,and pressure on the tensile and flexural properties of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene reinforced by banana fibers.X-ray CT imaging was employed to find the relationship between the mechanical properties and structure of the processed ***,the water absorption of composites was observed and the way in which the mechanical properties evolved after water absorption was *** tensile and flexural properties of the unidirectional banana fiber-reinforced composite were found to be inversely proportional to the *** addition,high-pressure compression molding might result in cracks and floating fibers that would significantly reduce its mechanical *** composite with the highest strength,smallest porosity and lowest water absorption was optimally prepared at T=170℃,t=20 min,and P=100 kg cm^-2.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors associated with long COVID symptoms among children and adolescents who have recovered from ***:this study applied a cross-sectional approach within community settings in a southern province of Vietnam.A structured questionnaire featuring socio-demographic information and common long COVID symptoms was *** correlation coefficients assessed associations among pairs of long COVID ***,multivariable logistic regression models were performed to investigate the risk factors of long COVID in recovered COVID-19 children and ***:Among 422 participants,39.3%reported long COVID symptoms,with a prevalence of 45.2%(SD=0.5)in children and 22.2%(SD=0.4)in *** symptoms reported were cough 34.6%(SD=0.5),fatigue 20.6%(SD=0.4),shortness of breath 10.9%(SD=0.3),and lack of appetite 6.6%(SD=0.3).Concerning risk factors of long COVID,a higher risk was observed among demographic groups,including girls(OR 1.25,95%CI 1.15-1.37;Pthout any COVID-19 vaccination(OR 1.36,95%CI 1.20-1.54;Pthose who have received two ***,patients with a COVID-19 treatment duration exceeding two weeks also had a higher risk of long COVID(OR 1.32,95%CI 1.09-1.60;P=0.003)than those who recovered less than seven ***:The insights from this study provide crucial guidance for predicting the factors associated with the occurrence of long COVID in pediatric patients,contributing to strategic interventions aimed at mitigating the long COVID risks among children and adolescents in Vietnam.

Comparison of Sensory Characteristics of Green Tea Produced in Thai nguyen and Phu tho Province, Vietnam

Green tea is a popular product with a high consumption in Vietnam. Moreover, green tea produced in Tan Cuong commune, Thai nguyen province, has long been recognized for its superior quality to those coming from other regions of the country. this study aims at comparing the tea from Thai nguyen and Phu tho and finding out if the difference can be identified through sensory analysis. Two products picked from Tan Cuong, Thai nguyen province, and two others from Phu Ho district, Phu tho province were evaluated by a trained panel of 12 judges （11 women and 1 man）. The sensory evaluation of the dry tea （11 descriptors） was carried out separately from the brewed tea （21 descriptors） and brewed leaf （five descriptors） using an unstructured intensity scale （10 cm）. Statistic analyses have shown differences between regions in all three groups of attributes： dry leaf, liquor and brewed leaf.
