TSC prediction and dynamic control of BOF steelmaking with state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning methods

Mathematical(data-driven)models based on state-of-the-art(SOTA)machine learning and deep learning models and data collected from 12,786 heats were established to predict the values of temperature,sample,and carbon(TSC)test,includ.ng temperature of molten steel(TSC-Temp),carbon content(TSC-C)and phosphorus content(TSC-P),which made prepa-ration for eliminating the TSC *** maximize the prediction accuracy of the proposed approach,various models with different inputs were implemented and compared,and the best models were applied to the production process of a Hesteel Group steelmaking plant in China in the *** number of tabular features(hot metal information,scrap,additives,blowing practices,and preset values)was expanded,and time series(off-gas profiles and blowing practice curves)that could reflect the entire steelmaking process were introduced as ***,the latest machine learning models(LightGBM,CatBoost,TabNet,and NOdE)were used to make predictions with tabular features,and the best coefficient of determination R^(2)values obtained for TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp predictions were 0.435(LightGBM),0.857(Cat-Boost)and 0.678(LightGBM),respectively,which were higher than those of classic models(backpropagation and support vector machine).Then,making predictions was performed by using SOTA time series regression models(SCINet,dLinear,Informer,and MLSTM-FCN)with original time series,SOTA image regression models(NesT,caiT,ResNeXt,and GoogLeNet)with resized time series,and the proposed Concatenate-Model and Parallel-Model with both tabular features and time *** optimization and comparisons,it was finally determined that the Concatenate-Model with MLSTM-FCN,SCINet and Informer as feature extractors performed the best,and its R^(2)values for predicting TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp reached 0.470,0.858 and 0.710,*** field test accuracies for TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp were 0.459,0.850 and 0.685,respectively.A related importance analysis was carri

Combinatorial reasoning-based abnormal sensor recognition method for subsea production control system

The subsea production system is a vital equipment for offshore oil and gas production. The control system is one of the most important parts of it. Collecting and processing the signals of subsea sensors is the only way to judge whether the subsea production control system is normal. However, subsea sensors degrade rapidly due to harsh working environments and long service time. This leads to frequent false alarm incidents. A combinatorial reasoning-based abnormal sensor recognition method for subsea production control system is proposed. A combinatorial algorithm is proposed to group sensors. The long short-term memory network(LSTM) is used to establish a single inference model. A counting-based judging method is proposed to identify abnormal sensors. Field data from an offshore platform in the South China Sea is used to demonstrate the effect of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can identify the abnormal sensors effectively.

The critical factors that limit the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are mainly the“shuttle effect”of polysulfides and the slow redox reaction between lithium polysulfides(LiPSs).Herein,a nano-sphere-type material selfassembled from tin disulfide nanosheets is designed and applied to the Li-S cell separator in this *** SnS_(2)@PP modified separator not only acts as a dual restriction for LiPSs by chemisorption and physical *** the same time,it improves the catalytic activity of the redox reaction between *** SnS_(2)has extremely high electrochemical ***,a portion of the lithium ions can be inserted into SnS_(2)to form Li_(x)SnS_(2)and contribute to the capacity during the first discharge of the *** addition,Li_(x)SnS_(2)possesses a high degree of stability,and it does not undergo further de-alloying reactions even at the high potential of the Li-S *** benefit is that the steady-state Li_(x)SnS_(2)acts as a lithium-containing *** can form special Li^(+)channels on the surface of the separator,thus greatly improving the efficiency of Li+*** results showed that the SnS_(2)@PP-based cell exhibited extremely high initial discharge specific capacity(1477 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.1 C)and excellent rate performance(631 m Ah g^(-1)at 5 C).Even after 1000 cycles at 2 C,the cell exhibited a low decay rate of 0.06%per cycle on *** addition,the superior electrochemical performance was obtained even with a high sulfur load.ng of 5.1 mg cm^(-2)and low electrolyte of E/S=8μL mg^(-1).

Accurate topological information is crucial in supporting the coordinated operational requirements of source-load-storage in low-voltage distribution *** coverage of smart meters provides a database for low-voltage topology identification(LVTI).However,because of electricity theft,power line commu-nication crosstalk,and interruption of communication,the measurement data may be *** can seriously affect the performance of LVTI ***,this paper defines hidden errors and proposes an LVTI method based on layer-by-layer stepwise *** the first step,a multi-linear regression model is developed for consumer-branch connectivity identification based on the energy conservation *** the second step,a significance factor based on the t-test is proposed to modify the identification results by considering the hidden *** the third step,the regression model and significance threshold parameters are iteratively updated layer by layer to improve the recall rate of the final identification ***,simulations of a test system with 63 users are carried out,and the practical application results show that the proposed method can guarantee over 90%precision under the influence of hidden errors.

Topology modulation of tetraphenylethylene graphdiyne at a liquid-liquid interface

Monomers with low symmetries can form different topological structures in the preparation of organic two-dimensional(2d)***,it remains challenging to modulate the topologies in practical *** theoretical insights into the formation energy of potential structural configurations,we report the topology modulation of a graphdiyne(GdY)derivative constructed from two-fold symmetric tetrakis(4-ethynylphenyl)ethene precursor by changing solvent combinations in a liquid-liquid interfacial *** aqueous-organic(water-dichloromethane)interface afforded GdY with a kagome topology while a rhombic topology was formed at an organic-organic(hexane-acetonitrile)interface.A comprehensive evaluation of their structures and optoelectronic properties was conducted through various characterization techniques and theoretical *** study provided new insights to modulate the topology of not only GdY but also other framework structures and obtain topologically pure materials in situations where different topologies are possible during practical synthesis.

Lanthanide(Ln^(3+))based ferroelectric phosphors,with an integration of PL emission and ferroelectric effect,are unveiling an exciting realm of possibilities for multifunctional ferroelectric-optic ***,how the ferroelectric host enables the tuning on the PL emissions through modulating the local structure(e.g.,lattice site,symmetry,strains etc.)of the Ln^(3+)activator is not established *** this work,a luminescent-ferroelectric material,***^(3+)doped BaTiO_(3) ceramic(Ba_(1–x)dy_(x)TiO_(3)(x=0–0.07),abbr:BTO:dy^(3+)),was explored to address the aforementioned *** BTO:dy^(3+)ceramics were synthesized by a solid-state reaction *** crystal structure,photoluminescence(PL)and electric properties(dielectric constant,ferroelectric hysteresis and piezoelectric hysteresis loop)were systematically *** BTO:dy^(3+)ceramics show two predominant emission peaks,correspond.ng to the blue magnetic dipole transition(477 nm,4F_(7/2)→6H_(15/2))and yellow electric dipole transition(573 nm,4F_(7/2)→6H_(13/2)),the intensity ration of which can be modulated by the ferroelectric polarization that causes the slight lattice *** a polarization-emission modulation combining with the dy3+doping could accelerate the color change,from yellow to blue,which is characterized to detect the phase transition,with a method and mechanism were proposed,that is,the phase change is reflected by the PL characteristic peak intensity ***,the current results offer a convenient photoluminescence method for detecting the ferroelectric phase transition and a feasible approach to study the interaction between the photoluminescence and polarization in ferroelectric materials,for provid.ng new insights for the development of multifunctional materials.

A dual-mode integration framework and application to agile feedback design of launch vehicles
