Efficacy of substances containing 3 types of active ingredients-saponins, flavones, and alkaloids in regulation of cytokines in autoimmune diseases a systematic review and Meta-analysis based on animal studies

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of substances containing 3 types of active ingredients-saponins,flavones, and alkaloids on experimental animals with autoimmune diseases(AIDs).METHODS: The protocol for this systematic review and Meta-analysis was prospectively registered with PROSPERO(CRD42023395741). Searches were conducted in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, Chinese Science and Technology Journals, China Biomedical, Pub Med,Cochrane Library, and Embase databases to screen for animal studies investigating the therapeutic effects of saponins, flavones, or alkaloids on autoimmune diseases;consequently, corresponding data extraction tables were prepared. Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation was used to assess the risk of methodological bias in the included literature. RevMan 5.4 was used for the Meta-analysis on the 8 serum ***: A total of 31 studies were included, all of which were randomized controlled studies. Meta-analysis indicated that substances rich in saponins, flavones, and alkaloids reduced serum levels of interleukin(IL)-1β[standardized mean difference(SMD) =-1.94, 95%confidence interval(CI)(-2.99,-0.90), P = 0.0003], IL-6 [SMD =-1.65, 95% CI(-2.33,-0.97,) P < 0.000 01],IL-17 [SMD =-2.41, 95% CI(-3.61,-1.20), P <0.0001], tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α [SMD =-1.84, 95%CI(-2.61,-1.06), P < 0.0001], and interferon(IFN)-γ[SMD =-1.54, 95% CI(-2.43,-0.65), P = 0.0007], but increased serum levels of IL-4 [SMD = 1.30, 95% CI(0.15,2.44), P = 0.03) and IL-10 [SMD = 2.05, 95% CI(1.39,2.70), P < 0.000 01) in animal models. However, no significant regulatory effect of these three active components was observed on serum levels of IL-2 [SMD =-0.63, 95% CI(-1.82, 0.57), P = 0.30].CONCLUTIONS: Substances containing saponins,flavones, and alkaloids regulated the changes of immunerelated cytokines, it may be a novel dietary substance to relieve and control autoimmune diseases in the future.

太原市老年人膳食行为现状及其影响因素

目的:调查分析太原市老年人膳食行为现状及其影响因素,并了解老年人健康状况。方法:2023年5月—8月选取太原市多个社区的650名老年人为研究对象,使用老年人社会人口学资料调查表、老年人膳食行为习惯调查量表、简明健康调查表(SF-36)进行调查分析。结果:650名老年人中,膳食行为优62人、良510人、中78人。不同文化程度、月收入、既往职业、婚姻状况、是否患有慢性病的老年人膳食行为水平不同(P<0.05)。650名老年人生理功能得分为(83.56±11.54)分,情感职能得分为(82.45±6.98)分,生理职能得分为(77.78±7.98)分,躯体疼痛得分为(68.97±4.21)分,生命活力得分为(75.41±6.28)分,社会功能得分为(78.44±8.68)分,精神健康得分为(74.13±10.34)分,总体健康得分为(59.85±16.52)分。结论:太原市老年人膳食行为受文化程度、月收入、既往职业、婚姻状况、是否患有慢性病影响,健康状况有待提升,需要及时采取行之有效的干预措施,提升老年人的健康水平,使其保持健康的生活与膳食习惯。

目的:采用网络药理学、差异基因分析、分子对接方法初步阐明党参治疗免疫性血小板减少症(ITP)的分子机制。方法:在传统中药系统药理学数据库(TCMSP)、传统中药综合数据库(TCMID)和中医药百科全书数据库(ETCM)中检索党参的主要成分和相应的蛋白质靶标。在GeneCards、OMIM、DisGeNET数据库收集ITP的靶点,构建韦恩图获得复合靶标和疾病的交集靶点,并将靶标导入STRING数据库,使用Cytoscape3.9.1构建PPI网络。接着对交集靶点进行基因本体(GO)和京都基因与基因组百科全书(KEGG)富集分析,以探索ITP与党参的相关信号通路,最后对关键靶点和活性化合物进行分子对接研究。结果:共获得党参的84种潜在活性化合物、2354个疾病靶点与257个药物靶点,并得到86个交集靶点。通过蛋白互相作用网络图(PPI)分析确定了15个关键靶点,Degree值排名前5位的靶点包括血管内皮生长因子A(VEGFA)、Src原癌基因(SRC)、白细胞介素2(IL2)、过氧化物酶体增殖激活受体γ(PPARG)、表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)。GO和KEGG分析表明,党参治疗ITP主要涉及ERK1和ERK2级联的正向调控、信号转导、蛋白质磷酸化等生物学过程,信号通路主要包括PI3K/Akt、癌症通路、T细胞信号通路。分子对接结果表明,SRC、PPARG与11-hydroxyrankinidine具有较高的结合活性。肉豆蔻酸、乙基α-d果糖呋喃糖苷、黄豆黄素是重要的活性化合物并通过分子对接模拟进行验证。结论:本研究从多个角度阐明党参可能通过调节多个靶点和多条途径对ITP产生治疗作用,可为进一步深入研究党参对ITP的作用提供科学依据。

CD41单克隆抗体建立慢性免疫性血小板减少症小鼠模型失败的初步分析

目的:通过向Balb/c小鼠腹腔注射不同次数和不同剂量CD41单克隆抗体(MWReg30),探究该方法能否构建出一种稳定的慢性免疫性血小板减少症(ITP)模型,并在造模结束后采用党参提取液干预此模型小鼠,以明确其对造模小鼠异常血小板计数的调整作用。方法:首先,使用MWReg30的常用剂量对Balb/c小鼠建立慢性ITP模型,并在抗体注射结束后探究党参提取液对造模小鼠的影响;随后,分别对不同组别的小鼠进行MWReg30的2次注射和2倍剂量注射,明确注射次数和剂量的增加是否有助于建立慢性ITP模型。结果:向小鼠体内注射MWReg30的造模方式不能使Balb/c小鼠血小板数量长期维持低水平,并且通过增加抗体注射次数和剂量的方法也难以实现此目的。但是,MWReg30的2次注射和2倍剂量注射分别使小鼠血小板计数在抗体注射结束7 d内和14 d内反弹升高至较高水平,且低剂量党参提取液干预造模小鼠可使其异常升高的血小板数量呈现下降趋势。结论:对小鼠腹腔注射MWReg30的造模方法无法复制出稳定的慢性ITP模型,此方法能否成为一种理想的慢性ITP模型建立方式仍有待进一步证实。而增加MWReg30的注射剂量能够延长模型小鼠血小板计数低水平的维持时间;且低剂量的党参提取液可能会对造模小鼠异常升高的血小板数量起纠正作用。

Two-component dimers of ultracold atoms with center-of-mass-momentum dependent interactions

In a previous paper[***.A95,060701(R)(2017)],we demonstrated that a new type of two-body interaction,which depends on the center of mass(CoM)momentum,can be realized for ultracold atoms via laser-modulated magnetic Feshbach resonance(MFR).Further studies(e.g.L He et al,***.120,045302(2018))show that various interesting phenomena,such as Fulde–Ferrell superfluids,can be induced by scattering between ultracold atoms with this *** this work we investigate the shallow bound states of two ultracold atoms with this type of *** show that when the magnetic field B is below the MFR point B0,two shallow bound states can appear in this ***,a'two-component dimer'or a dimer with pseudo-spin 1/2 can be formed by two ***,the dispersion curve of the dimer may have either single or double minimums in the CoM momentum *** latter case can be explained as a result from significant pseudo-spin-orbital coupling(SOC)*** results show that the ultracold gases with CoM momentum dependent interaction may be a candidate for quantum simulations with ultracold two-component molecules,especially the molecule gases with SOC.

The concentration difference in the near-surface region of lithium metal is the main cause of lithium dendrite *** this issue will be key to achieving high-performance lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Herein,we construct a lithium nitrate(LiNO_(3))-implanted electroactiveβphase polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP)crystalline polymorph layer(PHL).The electronegatively charged polymer chains attain lithium ions on the surface to form lithium-ion charged *** channels act as reservoirs to sustainably release Li ions to recompense the ionic flux of electrolytes,decreasing the growth of lithium *** stretched molecular channels can also accelerate the transport of Li *** combined effects enable a high Coulombic efficiency of 97.0%for 250 cycles in lithium(Li)||copper(Cu)cell and a stable symmetric plating/stripping behavior over 2000 h at 3 mA cm^(-2)with ultrahigh Li utilization of 50%.Furthermore,the full cell coupled with PHL-Cu@Li anode and Li Fe PO_(4) cathode exhibits long-term cycle stability with high-capacity retention of 95.9%after 900 ***,the full cell paired with LiNi_(0.87)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.03)O_(2)maintains a discharge capacity of 170.0 mAh g^(-1)with a capacity retention of 84.3%after 100 cycles even under harsh condition of ultralow N/P ratio of *** facile strategy will widen the potential application of LiNO_(3)in ester-based electrolyte for practical high-voltage LMBs.

Method to measure tree-ring width,density,elemental composition,and stable carbon and oxygen isotopes using one sample

Tree-ring width(RW),density,elemental com-position,and stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)are widely used as proxies to assess climate change,ecology,and environmental pollution;however,a specific pretreat-ment has been needed for each ***,we developed a method by which each proxy can be measured in the same ***,the sample is polished for ring width *** obtaining the ring width data,the sample is cut to form a 1-mm-thick wood *** sample is then mounted in a vertical sample holder,and gradually scanned by an X-ray ***,the count rates of the fluorescent photons of elements(for chemical characteriza-tion)and a radiographic grayscale image(for wood density)are obtained,*** density and the element content are ***,cellulose is isolated from the 1-mm wood plate by removal of lignin,and *** producing this cellulose plate,cellulose subsamples are separated by knife under the microscope for inter-annual and intra-annual stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)*** on this method,RW,density,elemental composition,δ^(13)C,and δ^(18)O can be measured from the same sample,which reduces sample amount and treatment time,and is helpful for multi-proxy comparison and combination research.

To the Editor:Malignant ovarian tumors during pregnancy(MOTP)rank second after cervical cancer among gynecological malignancies diagnosed during pregnancy,and most women today hope to maintain pregnancy and preserve fertility,which complicates oncologic treatment,as all potential complications and prognoses should be carefully considered for both the mother and fetus.A coordinated approach from a multidisciplinary team involving gynecological oncologists,obstetricians,and pathologists is recommended.
