Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15n(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)n capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)n(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)n channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)n(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CnO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)n(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)n(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)n(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)n(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Concentration-dependent effects of reductive pulmonary inhalants on ultrafine particle-induced oxidative stress:Insights for health risk assessment

The impact of reductive pulmonary inhalants on ultrafine particles(UFPs)-induced pulmonary oxidative stress remains a crucial consideration,yet the concentration-dependent effects of these inhalants have remained *** we synthesized composite UFPs simulating atmospheric UFPs,primarily composed of metals and *** subjected these UFPs to varying concentrations(0e7000 mM)of two reductive pulmonary inhalants,n-acetylcysteine and salbutamol,to assess their influence on oxidative potential,measured through the dithiothreitol assay(OP^(DTT)).Simultaneously,we analysed the soluble metal content of UFPs to uncover potential relationships between oxidative potential and metal *** results unveil a dual role played by these inhalants in shaping the OPDTT of composite ***,OP^(DTT) generally increased as inhalant concentrations rose from 0 to 300 ***,an intriguing reversal occurred when concentrations exceeded 500 mM,resulting in a decline in *** to untreated UFPs,these inhalants induced promotion and inhibition effects within concentration ranges of 100e500 and>1000 mM,*** no significant correlation emerged between OP^(DTT) and soluble metal content as inhalant concentrations ranged from 0 to 7000 mM,noteworthy positive correlations emerged at lower inhalant concentrations(e.g.,n-acetylcysteine at 0 e300 mM).These findings provide insights into the potential influence of reductive pulmonary inhalants on health risks associated with UFP exposure,further underscoring the need for continued research in this critical area.

In this paper,we investigate local properties in the system of completely integral mapping *** introduce notions of injectivity,local reflexivity,exactness,nuclearity,finite-represent ability and WEP in the system of completely integral mapping *** we obtain that any finite-dimensional operator space is injective in the system of completely integral mapping *** we prove that C is the unique nuclear operator space and the unique exact operator space in this *** also show that C is the unique operator space which is finitely representable in{T_(n)}n∈nin this *** corollaries,Kirchberg’s conjecture and QWEP conjecture in the system of completely integral mapping spaces are false.

A pilot-scale filtration system was adopted to prepare filter media with catalytic activity to remove manganese(Mn^(2+))and ammonium(nH_(4)^(+)-n).Three different combinations of oxidants(KMnO_(4)and K_(2)FeO_(4))and reductants(MnSO_(4)and FeCl_(2))were used during the start-up *** R3 started up by KMnO_(4)and FeCl_(2)(Mn^(7+)→MnO_(x))exhibited excellent catalytic property,and the nH_(4)^(+)-n and Mn^(2+)removal efficiency reached over 80%on the 10th and 35th days,*** R1 started up by K_(2)FeO_(4)and MnSO_(4)(MnO_(x)←Mn^(2+))exhibited the worst catalytic *** R2 started up by KMnO_(4)and MnSO_(4)(Mn^(7+)→MnO_(x)←Mn^(2+))were in *** to Zeta potential results,the Mn-based oxides(MnO_(x))formed by Mn^(7+)→MnO_(x)performed the highest pHIEP and *** higher the pHIEP and pHPZC,the more unfavorable the cation ***,it was inconsistent with its excellent Mn^(2+)and nH_(4)^(+)-n removal abilities,implying that catalytic oxidation played a key *** with XRD and XPS analysis,the results showed that the MnO_(x)produced by the reduction of KMnO_(4)showed early formation of buserite crystals,high degree of amorphous,high content of Mn3+and lattice oxygen with the higher activity to form *** above results showed that MnO_(x)produced by the reduction of KMnO_(4)was more conducive to the formation of active species for catalytic oxidation of nH_(4)^(+)-n and Mn^(2+)*** study provides new insights on the formation mechanisms of the active MnO_(x)that could catalytic oxidation of nH_(4)^(+)-n and Mn^(2+).

An approach utilizing n-heterocyclic carbene for nitrile formation and desymmetrization reaction is developed. The process involves kinetic resolution, with the axially chiral aryl monoaldehydes obtained in moderate yields with excellent optical purities. These axially chiral aryl monoaldehydes can be conveniently transformed into functionalized molecules, showing great potential as catalysts in organic chemistry.

Regulation of rhizosphere microenvironment by rice husk ash for reducing the accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice

It is important to reduce Cd and As content in brown rice in contaminated paddy *** conducted research on the effects of rice husk ash (RHA) on the Cd and As in the rhizosphere microenvironment (soil,porewater,and iron plaque) and measured the Cd,As,and Si content in rice *** main elements in RHA were Si (29.64%) and O (69.17%),which had the maximum adsorption capacity for Cd was 42.49 mg/kg and for As was 18.62 mg/*** pH and available Si content increased,while soil available Cd and As decreased following application of 0.5%–2%*** promote the transformation of Cd to insoluble fraction,while As was transformed from a poorly soluble form to a more active *** reduced Cd content and increased Si content in porewater,and reduced As only at the later rice growth *** increased the amount of iron plaque,thereby decreasing the Cd content in iron plaque,while increased the As content in *** and inorganic As content in brown rice were decreased,to 0.31 mg/kg and 0.18 mg/kg,*** decrease of Cd in brown rice was due to the decrease of Cd mobility in soil,thereby reducing root accumulation,while the decrease of As in brown rice was affected by the transport from roots to ***,RHA can be considered as a safe and efficient in-situ remediation amendment for Cd and As co-contaminated paddy soil.

The interactions between lignin oligomers and solvents determine the behaviors of lignin oligomers self-assembling into uniform lignin nanoparticles(LnPs).Herein,several alcohol solvents,which readily interact with the lignin oligomers,were adopted to study their effects during solvent shifting process for LnPs’*** lignin oligomers with widely distributed molecular weight and abundant guaiacyl units were extracted from wood waste(mainly consists of pine wood),exerting outstanding self-assembly *** and spherical LnPs were generated in H_(2)O-n-propanol cosolvent,whereas irregular LnPs were obtained in H_(2)O-methanol *** unsatisfactory self-assembly performance of the lignin oligomers in H_(2)O-methanol cosolvent could be attributed to two *** one hand,for the initial dissolution state,the distinguishing Hansen solubility parameter and polarity between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers resulted in the poor dispersion of the lignin *** the other hand,strong hydrogen bonds between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers during solvent shifting process,hindered the interactions among the lignin oligomers for self-assembly.
