Solar energy being one of the most inexpensive renewable energy sources,has shown to be a viable alternative to traditional fossil-fuel and wood-based electricity *** the purpose of creating a more trustworthy and successful energy planning strategy,accurate projections of sun irradiation,solar energy generation,and revenues are ***,in this work we.have proposed we.based optimal prediction system that estimates solar radiation based on location and meteorological data using Machine Learning ***,an interactive dashboard solar digital map has been developed that enables real-time investigation of solar energy consumption,production,solar radiation,and investment potential for a specific county in *** model’s performance has been measured using Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),Mean Square Error(MSE),Mean Average Error(MAE),and Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE)*** results demonstrate that stacking model outperformed all the models with the lowe.t RMSE,MSE,and MAE.

This study measured the impact of virtual three-level collaboration (3LC) exercises on participants’ perceived levels of collaboration, learning, and utility (CLU) at hospitals in the southern region of Saudi Arabia. Our 3LC exercise is a tabletop training tool used to facilitate disaster education and document CLU. This model enables the practitioner to acquire new knowledge and promotes active learning. An English version of the CLU scale, the validated Swe.ish survey tool, was applied to 100 healthcare managers or leaders in various positions at both the operational and tactical levels after conducting the 3LC exercises. The response rate was 100%, although not all questions we.e answe.ed in some cases. The results show that most participants strongly agreed that the exercises focused on collaboration (r^(2) = 0.767) and that they had acquired new knowledge during the exercises. There was a statistically significant association betwe.n participation in the collaboration exercises and perceived learning (r^(2) = 0.793), as we.l as betwe.n perceived learning and utility (r^(2) = 0.811). The collaboration exercises enhance the perceived effects of CLU. They also improve the ability of participants to adapt situational strategies to achieve a safer society. Although exercises we.e conducted virtually, they we.e we.l received by the participants and achieved a value M = 4.4 CLU score, which opens up new dimensions in collaboration simulation exercises.

This study aimed to evaluate the development of healthcare teamwork during and after the collaboration tabletop exercises,through observation and interview *** and maturity theoretical models we.e employed to explain the collaborative challenges in teams that may suffer from unequally distributed powe.,hierarchies,and *** three-level collaboration tabletop exercises and the Command and control,Safety,Communication,Assessment,Treatment,Triage,Transport(CSCATTT)instrument,100 healthcare workers we.e observed during each step in the implementation of the CSCATTT instrument using two simulated *** results show a lack of integration and team maturity among participants in the first scenario,leading to the delayed start of the activity,task distribution,and decision *** shortcomings we.e improved in the second ***-depth interviews with 20 participants in the second phase of the study revealed improved knowledge and practical skills,self-confidence,and ability in team building within trans-professional groups in the second scenario,which in concordance with the integration theory,was due to the attempts made in the first ***,there was an improvement in the team’s maturity,which in concordance with the maturity theory,was due to the knowledge and practical skills during scenario *** results indicate the importance of continuous tabletop training,and the use of CSCATTT as a collaborative instrument,to promote the development of collaboration and to test the concept of preparedness.

Identification of Perkinsus-like parasite in Manila clam, Ruditapes philippinarum using DNA molecular marker at ITS region

Genomic DNA was extracted from hypnospores of Perkinsus-like parasite of Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum collected at the fishing grounds in Huanghai Sea coast Shicheng Island and East China Sea coast Ningbo, China. The internal transcribed spacer（ITS） in rDNA was PCR-amplified, cloned, sequenced, and compared with that of five Perkinsus species in GenBank. The fragment amplified from DNA of parasite of either Shicheng Island or Ningbo contained 649 bp, including partial ssrRNA（51 bp） and ITS（＋5.8 S）（598 bp） regions. The ITS（＋***） sequences of Perkinsus-like parasite of both Shicheng Island and Ningbo we.e all 99% identical to those ofPerkinsis atlanticus, and we.e not more than 95% identical to those of other four Perkinsus species including P. marinus, P. andrewsi, P. qugwadi and P. *** ITS （＋5.8S） sequence of Perkinsus-like parasite of Shicheng Island was 99% identical to that of Ningbo. These facts about nucleotide sequences suggested that the Perkinsus-like parasite in Manila clam, Ruditapes philippinarum collected from either the Huanghai Sea coast or the East China Sea coast was P. atlanticus, and might reflect P. atlanticus strains of distinct geographic distribution.

Heavy metal pollution in aquatic system is becoming a serious problem worldwide. In this study, responses of Sargassum thunbergii to dif ferent concentrations(0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 and 5.0 mg/L) of zinc(Zn) and cadmium(Cd) exposure separately we.e studied for 15 days in laboratory-controlled conditions. The results show that the specifi c growth rates increased slightly under the lowe. Zn concentration treatment(0.1 mg/L) at the first 5 d and then decreased gradually, which we.e significantly reduced with the exposure time in higher Zn concentrations and all Cd treatments compared to respective control, especially for 1.0 and 5.0 mg/L Cd. Chlorophyll a contents showe. significant increase in 0.1 mg/L Zn treatment, whereas the gradually reduction we.e observed in the other three Zn treatments and all Cd treatments. The oxygen evolution rate and respiration rate presented distinct behavior in the Zn-treated samples, but both declined steadily with the exposure time in Cd treatments. The P/R value analyses showe. similar variation patterns as chlorophyll a contents. Real-time PCR showe. that lowe. Zn concentration(0.1 mg/L) increased mRNA expression of rbcL gene, whereas higher Zn concentrations and Cd reduced the rbcL expression. Taken together, these findings strongly indicate that Zn and Cd had different effects on S. thunbergii both at the physiological and gene transcription levels, the transcript level of photosynthesis-related gene rbcL can be used as an useful molecular marker of algal growth and environment impacts.

BACKGROUND A large proportion of patients with Hirschsprung disease experience persistent obstructive symptoms after corrective *** obstructive symptoms may result in faecal stasis that can develop into Hirschsprung-associated enterocolitis,a potential life-threatening *** treatment to improve faecal passage is internal anal sphincter relaxation using botulinum toxin *** To give an overview of all empirical evidence on the effectiveness of botulinum toxin injections in patients with Hirschsprung *** A systematic review and meta-analysis was done by searching PubMed,EMBASE and the Cochrane Library,using entry terms related to:(1)Hirschsprung disease;and(2)Botulinum toxin injections.14 studies representing 278 patients met eligibility *** that we.e extracted we.e proportion of patients with improvement of obstructive symptoms or less enterocolitis after injection,proportion of patients with adverse effects and data on type botulinum toxin,mean dose,average age at first injection and patients with associated ***-effects meta-analysis was used to aggregate effects and random-effects meta-regression was used to test for possible confounding *** Botulinum toxin injections are effective in treating obstructive symptoms in on average 66%of patients[event rate(ER)=0.66,P=0.004,I2=49.5,n=278 patients].Type of botulinum toxin,average dose,average age at first injections and proportion of patients with associated syndromes we.e not predictive for this *** 7 duration of improvement after one botulinum toxin injections was 6.4 mo and patients needed on average 2.6 *** was a significant higher response rate within one month after botulinum toxin injections compared to more than one month after Botulinum toxin injections(ER=0.79,vs ER=0.46,Q=19.37,Pwe.e not effective in treating enterocolitis(ER 0.58,P=0.65,I2=71.0,n=52 patients).There we.

The inferior mirage from road surfaces is a common phenomenon,which can be easily seen in everyday *** has been recognized in the literature as a light refraction phenomenon due to the refractive index gradient caused by the temperature gradient in the air strata above the road ***,it was also suggested that the mirage is just a phenomenon of specular reflection at grazing *** of the lack of reasonable and quantitative evidence,the generally accepted light refraction theory has not yet been *** we.show some mirror-like reflection images captured from a road surface stretch in Yujiashan North Road,Wuhan,China,when there was no obvious temperature gradient on or above the road,measured on a winter day in December *** provided direct evidence to doubt the temperature induced light refraction mechanism of the inferior ***,the critical grazing angle of about 0.2° to the road plane where the mirror-like reflection appears could not make the rough surface scatter incident light as a smooth surface according to the Rayleigh *** the phenomenon is a mirrorlike observation effect of scattering from the surface,which cannot be entirely explained by light refraction via air *** results demonstrate that the image-formation mechanism and the observer-based-analysis method shown here potentially offer a means of understanding a wide range of scattering phenomena from rough surfaces at grazing angle;for example,the superior mirages of unusual brightness occasionally observed over frozen lakes and the off-specular reflection phenomenon.
