Progressive neuroblastomas(pNBs)that defy current intensive multimodal clinical therapy(IMCT)are a significant contributor to overall childhood cancer deaths[l].Neuroblastomas(NBs)that survive first-line IMCT actively evolve to acquire genetic and molecular rearrangements and display unparalleled plasticity and evolution,which causes frequent relapses in a rapidly accelerating timeline[2-4].

Neuroblastoma(NB),the most common cancer at infancy,is derived from a selective sympathoadrenal lineage of the neural crest cells[1-3].The majority of NB is found in children younger than 5 years(median age:2 years)and is rare in children older than 10 *** NB accounts for only 5-6%of the childhood cancers,it heavily contributes(about 15%)to pediatric cancer deaths[4,5].

This study investigates the use of waste fat biodiesel(WFB)from the leather industry as a substitute for diesel ***,it examines the diesel engine performance of WFB,a blend of WFB and diesel(B50),and different blends of WFB and silicon dioxide(SiO_(2))nanoparticles(B50SiO_(2)40,B50SiO_(2)80,and B50SiO_(2)120μg/g).The results indicate that the B50SiO_(2)120 blend increases brake thermal efficiency by 10.03%compared to pure biodiesel but falls 1.93%short of neat ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 mixture reduces smoke,hydrocarbon,and carbon monoxide emissions by 31.87%,34.14%,and 43.97%respectively,compared to ***,the B50SiO_(2)120 blend shows a 4.91%increase in nitrogen oxide emissions compared to diesel.

Neuroblastoma(NB)is the most common cancer of infancy and accounts for nearly one tenth of pediatric cancer *** mortality rate has been attributed to the>50%frequency of relapse despite intensive,multimodal clinical therapy in patients with progressive *** the disease’s heterogeneity and developed resistance,attaining a cure after relapse of progressive NB is highly challenging.A rapid decrease in the timeline between successive recurrences is likely due to the ongoing acquisition of genetic rearrangements in undifferentiated NB-cancer stem cells(CSCs).In this review,we present the current understanding of NB-CSCs,their intrinsic role in tumorigenesis,their function in disease progression,and their influence on acquired therapy resistance and tumor *** particular,this review focus on the intrinsic involvement of stem cells and signaling in the genesis of NB,the function of pre-existing CSCs in NB progression and therapy response,the formation and influence of induced CSCs(iCSCs)in drug resistance and tumor evolution,and the development of a CSC-targeted therapeutic approach.

Neuroblastoma(NB)deriving from neural crest cells is the most common extra-cranial solid cancer at *** originates within the peripheral sympathetic ganglia in adrenal medulla and along the midline of the ***,NB exhibits significant heterogeneity stretching from spontaneous regression to rapid progression to therapy ***(miRNAs,miRs)are small(19-22 nt in length)non-coding RNAs that regulate human gene expression at the post-transcriptional level and are known to regulate cellular signaling,growth,differentiation,death,stemness,and ***,the function of miRs in tumorigenesis,progression and resistance is of utmost importance for the understanding of dysfunctional cellular pathways that lead to disease evolution,therapy resistance,and poor clinical *** the last two decades,much attention has been devoted to understanding the functional roles of miRs in NB *** review focuses on highlighting the important implications of miRs within the context of NB disease progression,particularly miRs’influences on NB disease evolution and therapy *** this review,we discuss the functions of both the“oncomiRs”and“tumor suppressor miRs”in NB progression/therapy *** are the critical components to be considered during the development of novel miR-based therapeutic strategies to counter therapy resistance.

This study describes the designing steps of the proposed self-cleaning system for the photovoltaic(PV)system and experimentally investigates the effectiveness of the proposed self-cleaning PV sliding system for solar power plants under all Indian climate *** investigate the performance of the proposed self-cleaning PV sliding system,we used three PV panels of 20 W with a sliding structure and another set of three PV panels of 20 W with a traditional(fixed)technique,and recorded the output power for the period of December 2019 to April *** experimental results show that the proposed self-cleaning PV sliding system improved efficiency by 18.3%,13.3%and 6.4%,respectively,in the summer,winter and post-monsoon seasons when compared to the fixed PV *** results also revealed that energy consumption was very low when compared to the amount of energy *** proposed system not only cleans the PV system,but also protects it from *** results of this study show that there is a significant improvement in PV efficiency and thus an increase in electricity production under all climate conditions.

This study paves the way on reducing smoke emission and NO_x emissions of research diesel engine by detailing the e ect of water addition in biodiesel. Fuel samples were prepared with di erent concentrations of water in orange peel oil biodiesel(94% waste orange peel oil biodiesel + 4% water + 2% Span 80(WOPOBDE1) and 90% waste orange peel oil biodiesel + 8% water + 2% Span 80(WOPOBDE2). Span 80 was employed as a nonionic surfactant, which emulsifies water in biodiesel. Experimental results revealed that the nitrogen oxides and smoke emission of orange peel oil biodiesel emulsion were reduced by 11%–19% and 3%–21%, respectively, compared to that of neat orange peel oil biodiesel(WOPOBD). In addition, the introduction of orange peel oil–water emulsions in the diesel engine considerably reduced the emissions of unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. The overall hydrocarbon emission of WOPOBDE2 was 12.2% lower than that of WOPOBD and 16.3% lower than that of diesel. The overall CO emission of WOPOBDE2 was 17% lower than that of base fuel(WOPOBD) and 21.8% lower than that of diesel. Experimental results revealed that modified fuel had higher brake thermal e ciency and lower brake specific fuel consumption than that of base fuel at all engine brake power levels.

In order to control the ferrite and austenite percentage in duplex stainless steel welding, many researchers try to change the laser welding parameters and cooling medium, but ignore to study the influence of heat sink effect on weld strength. In this work, the effect of aluminium heat sink and varying cooling medium on the laser welding of duplex stainless steel (DSS) 2205 is studied. The 2 mm thick DSS sheets welded with pulsed Nd: YAG laser welding machine by varying the cooling medium (air and oil) and an aluminium plate used as a heat sink. The welded specimens tested for tensile strength, micro-hardness, distortion, microstructure and radiography analysis. The faster cooling rate in the oil quenching process enhances the ferrite percentage compared with air-cooled samples. But the faster cooling rate in oil quenching leads to more distortion and using aluminium as a heat sink influenced positively the distortion to a small extent. The lower cooling rate in air quenching leads to a higher tensile strength of the welded specimen. The objective of this work is to analyse experimentally the effect of cooling medium and heat sink in the mechanical and metallurgical properties of laser welded duplex stainless steel.
