A desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) is a rare, aggressive mesenchymal neoplasm. Although a DSRCT can develop at various sites, the intraabdominal site is the most common location. These tumors are found most commonly among young adolescents and the prognosis is extremely poor. Multimodal treatment with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy is very important for these rare cases, and this treatment can improve patient survival. In this report, we describe the case of an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with DSRCT located in the retroperitoneal space. The patient has undergone surgical resection and adjuvant chemoradiation therapy, and is currently alive without disease recurrence.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a way of optimized managing and sharing information between standard architectural drawings and construction documents in Korea architectural industry for automated code checking system by linked STEP and XMl. To archive this purpose, the authors have analyzed current research and technical development for STEP and XMl link and developed a prototype system for sharing information between model based drawings and XMl based construction documents. Finally, the authors have suggested practical use scenario of sharing information through linked STEP and XMl using test case of automatic code checking. In the paper, the possibility of constructing integrated architectural computing environment through exchange and sharing of drawing information and external data for the whole building life-cycle, from the conceptual design stage to the construction and maintenance stage has been examined. Automated code checking through linked STEP and XMl could be enhanced through col-laboration business, more completed code, improved building performance, and reduced construction costs.

Methods for producing high-resolution digital topographic maps using an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),and 3D fluid dynamics simulation to estimate the flooded areas caused by a collapsed reservoir,were proposed in this *** UAV flight path for photographing damaged areas was divided into two sections considering the drone flight time and overlapping range of the images in the x-and *** metadata taken by the drone were transferred into world coordinates by tracking the key features of the photographs of nearby areas using a 3D rotation *** point cloud data with a 3D space were extracted from the registered images,and a digital surface map(DSM)was produced using a point cloud classification geometric mapping *** amend the serious elevation errors caused by natural or artificial obstacles,a kriging interpolation method was used to reproduce the DSM.A transient computational simulation that considers both the complex geometric topology and hydrodynamic energy of flowing water was conducted using FlOW-3D software to deal with an renormalization group(RNG)turbulence *** flooded areas calculated through visual reading using images taken by the UAV were compared with the 3D simulation results for *** flooded areas estimated through the simulation were approximately 18.3%larger than those found by visual *** flows were mainly observed in obstacles or curved areas of the stream,and the differences in the water depth could be further ***,the villagers confirmed that the flooded areas were much greater than what was seen through the visual ***,the combination of UAV surveying and the 3D simulation method based on the RNG turbulence model is recommended to accurately estimate flooded areas,and it will support an administrative policy aimed at minimizing the economic costs of damage caused by future reservoir collapses.

The World Health Organization has raised concerns about the possibility of airborne transmission in enclosed and poorly ventilated ***,rapid monitoring of airborne viruses is necessary in multi-use facilities with dense ***,an electrostatic air sampler(250 l/min)was developed in this work to obtain indoor viral aerosol samples for analysis via the Polymerase chain Reaction(PCR).Aerosol tests with H1N1 and HCoV-229E were performed to evaluate the sample collection *** analysis,along with another aerosol test,was conducted to evaluate the recovery of the virus particles collected by the *** laboratory tests,our electrostatic sampler obtained viral samples that were detectable by PCR under the simulated viral pandemic scenario(3000 RNA copies per cubic meter of air)within 40 *** resulting cycle threshold(C)values were 35.07 and 37.1 for H1N1 and HCoV-229E,*** the performance evaluation in the laboratory,field tests were conducted in a university classroom from October 28 to December 2,*** A and HCoV-229E were detected in two air samples,and the corresponding C,values were 35.3 and *** PCR results are similar to those obtained from laboratory tests,considering the simulatedviralpandemic scenario.

In this review paper, we introduce a self-phase controlled stimulated Brillouin scattering phase conjugate mirror(SCSBS-PCM) and the Kumgang laser. The SC-SBS-PCM was proposed and demonstrated its success at the academic low power level, ~100 mJ@10 Hz. The Kumgang laser is under development to verify whether the SC-SBS-PCM is operable at the k W level. It is a 4 kW beam combination laser combining four 1 k W beams using the SC-SBS-PCM. If the Kumgang laser functions successfully, it will be the most important step towards a Dream laser, a hypothetical laser with unlimited power and a high repetition rate.

Graph coloring has a wide range of real world applications,such as in the operations research,communication network,computational biology and compiler optimization *** our recent work[1],we propose a divide-andconquer approach for graph coloring,called *** an approach has three generic subroutines.(i)Graph partition subroutine:VColor partitions a graph G into a vertex cut partition(VP),which comprises a vertex cut component(VCC)and small non-overlapping connected components(CCs).(ii)Component coloring subroutine:VColor colors the VCC and the CCs by efficient algorithms.(iii)Color combination subroutine:VColor combines the local colors by exploiting the maximum matchings of color combination bigraphs(CCBs).VColor has revealed some major bottlenecks of efficiency in these ***,in this paper,we propose VColor^(*),an approach which addresses these efficiency bottlenecks without using more colors both theoretically and *** technical novelties of this paper are the following.(i)We propose the augmented VP to index the crossing edges of the VCC and the CCs and propose an optimized CCB construction algorithm.(ii)For sparse CCs,we propose using a greedy coloring algorithm that is of polynomial time complexity in the worst case,while preserving the approximation ratio.(iii)We propose a distributed graph coloring *** extensive experimental evaluation on real-world graphs confirms the efficiency of VColor^(*).In particular,VColor^(*)is 20X and 50X faster than VColor and uses the same number of colors with VColor on the Pokec and PA datasets,***^(*)also significantly outperforms the state-ofthe-art graph coloring methods.

The cement dispersion performance of a polycarboxylate(PCE)-based superplasticizer is highly related to their adsorption behaviors as a function of *** study evaluated effects of PCEs on rheological properties of cementitious ***,characteristics of PCEs were characterized via permeation chromatography(GPC)and Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry(FT-IR).The adsorption behavior of single and blended PCEs on cementitious composites was identified using total organic carbon analyzer(TOC).Based on the measurement of PCE adsorption,the changes of rheological properties of cementitious materials as well as the number of dispersed cement particles were characterized using a rheometer and laser spectroscopy,*** experimental results support the systematic mechanism of PCE adsorption,cement dispersion,and the decrease in viscosity of cementitious materials.
