Objective This study was designed to evaluate the prevalence of thyroid nodules（TNs） and its relationship with urine iodine concentrations（UICs） after the regional rapid economic growth and lifestyle changes. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in the general population aged 15-69 years. A questionnaire regarding general and personal characteristics and relevant information was administered. Ultrasonography of the thyroid was performed, and serum triiodothyronine（T3）, tetraiodothyronine（T4）, serum thyroid stimulating hormone（TSH）, free triiodothyronine（FT3）, free tetraiodothyronine（FT4）, thyroglobulin antibody（Tg Ab）, thyroid peroxidase antibody（TPOAb）, and TSH receptor antibody（TRAb） levels were measured for each individual subject. Results The prevalence rates of TNs in the whole population, females and males were 27.76%, 34.04%, and 21.60%, respectively. The prevalence of multiple nodules increased with age, whereas the prevalence peaks differed between males and females. The median UICs in the whole population and females with non-TNs were higher than those of subjects with TNs（P=0.0035, P=0.0068）. The median UICs in subjects with a single TN were higher than those in subjects with multiple TNs（P=0.0164, P=0.0127）. The result showed a U-shaped curve relationship between UIC and prevalence of TNs. The prevalence of TNs was the lowest when the UIC was 140-400 μg/L. Conclusion The prevalence of TNs was nearly 30% and increased with age. The relationship between UIC and prevalence of TNs is U-shaped, with an increase in risk when the UIC was 〈140 μg/L and 〉400 μg/L. Very low or high UIC levels need attention and correction.

Background and Aims:Natural vaginal delivery and breastfeeding favor the development of a strong immune system in infants,and the immune response of infants to vaccines is closely related to their immune *** large prospective cohort study aimed to explore the effects of delivery and feeding mode on infant’s immune response to hepatitis B vaccine(HepB).Methods:A total of 1,254 infants who completed the whole course of HepB immunization and whose parents were both HBsAg negative were enrolled from infants born in Jinchang City during 2018-2019 by cluster sampling ***:Twenty(1.59%)of the 1,254 infants were nonresponders to *** the other 1,234 infants,10.05%(124/1,234),81.69%(1,008/1,234)and 8.27%(102/1,234)of infants had low,medium,and high responses to HepB,*** regression analysis showed that cesarean section(OR:8.58,95%CI:3.11-23.65,p<0.001)and birth weight<3.18 kg(OR:5.58,95%CI:1.89-16.51,p=0.002)were independent risk factors for infant nonresponse to HepB,and cesarean section(OR:7.63,95%CI:4.64-12.56,p<0.001),formula feeding(OR:4.91,95%CI:1.47-16.45,p=0.001),maternal antiHBs negativity(OR:27.2,95%CI:10.67-69.35,p<0.001),paternal non-response history of HepB(OR:7.86,95%CI:2.22-27.82,p=0.014)and birth weight<3.22 kg(OR:4.00,95%CI:2.43-6.59,p<0.001)were independent risk factors for infant low response to *** cases where birth weight and genetic factors are unmodifiable and maternal anti-HBs effects are controversial,it makes sense to enhance infant response by changing delivery and feeding ***:Natural vaginal delivery and breastfeeding are beneficial to the infant’s immune response to HepB.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),a single-stranded positive RNA virus,exhibits a high rate of genome mutation and recombination(1–2).Recombinant strains of this virus could potentially affect their binding ability to the ACE2 receptor,which may in turn diminish the protection offered by vaccines and neutralizing ***,the Delta and Omicron recombinations have been collectively referred to as Deltacron(3).Furthermore,XBB.1.5,a recombinant strain resulting from the combination of the BA.2 sublineages BA.2.10.1 and BA.2.75,has demonstrated enhanced transmissibility(4).As such,it is imperative to monitor the genome recombination of SARS-CoV-2 in order to provide valuable insights regarding epidemic and transmission trends.

Reductive soil disinfestation(RSD)is an important tool for sustainable agricultural ***,the differences in soil bacterial communities and their community assembly processes among RSD and other treatment strategies(e.g.,biochar and chemical fumigation)are still subject to open *** this study,soils subjected to various treatments–un-treated control(CK),chemical soil fumigation with CaCN2(CF),1%biochar(1%B),3%biochar(3%B),and reductive soil disinfestation(RSD)are *** samples were collected,incubated,and then used for growth of tomato *** Sloan neutral community model indicates that stochastic processes dominate in bacterial community assembly for both biochar and CF *** contrast,this work shows that RSD treatment can have a strong impact on soil bacterial community *** relative abundance of Firmicutes increased during unplanted soil incubation,whereas Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes dominated in the rhizosphere after planting of *** stochasticity ratio reveals that deterministic selection played an important role in the bacterial assembly under RSD *** found that RSD amendment yielded lower biomass than that for other treatments after 28 days of tomato *** results suggest that although RSD treatment has great potential to rebuild soil bacterial ecology by shaping bacterial communities and their assembly processes,it is important to monitor and manage soil conditions(e.g.,soil nutrients or physical properties)before planting to ensure plant productivity.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),which is characterized by a long-term,irreversible airway limitation and persistent respiratory symptoms,is common and *** studies have suggested that particulate matter is associated with the prevalence of COPD and the risk of *** the same time,the diurnal temperature range(DTR)has been suggested to be an adverse health factor that is especially associated with an increased risk of hospitalization in patients with COPD[1].DTR represents temperature variability within 1 day and is considered an important indicator of climate change.A few studies have shown that ambient air pollutants[particulate matter(PM)],such as PM2.5 and PM10,and high or low temperature have a synergistic effect on COPD[1].Thus,the current study determined the interaction between particulate matter(PM)and the DTR on COPD mortality and identified the vulnerable population in weifang.

[目的 ]分析 1990～ 1999年我国城市和农村居民糖尿病死亡率的现况特点并预测未来 5年的变化趋势。 [方法 ]根据《全国卫生统计年报》资料 ,对我国 1990至 1999年糖尿病死亡率的现况进行流行病学分析 ,并利用灰色动态模型GM( 1 1)预测我国 2 0 0 0至 2 0 0 5年城市和农村糖尿病死亡率趋势。[结果 ]城市 1999年糖尿病死亡率为 15 3 7/ 10万而农村为5 13 / 10万 ,分别是 1990年死亡率的 1 89倍和 1 71倍 ;女性的死亡率高于男性 ,城市和农村男女死亡率之比分别为 0 63∶1和0 76∶1;根据 1990～ 1999死亡率所建立的城市的灰色模型预测方程为 ^Xt=-10 6.4817× ( 1-e0 .0 7458t) -Yt-1(t =1,2 ,...,N) ,而农村的方程为 ^Xt=-3 3 .60 5 3× ( 1-e0 .0 753 7t) -Yt-1(t=1,2 ,...,N) ;预测到 2 0 0 5年我国城市和农村糖尿病死亡率将分别达到 2 5 2 4/ 10万人和 8 15 / 10万人 ;精度检验证明了城市和农村的预测模型拟合良好而外推测值可信。 [结论 ]我国人群糖尿病死亡率上升趋势明显 ,提示有关部门应加强防治力度 ;灰色模型GM( 1 1)能够较好地预测糖尿病死亡率的近期变化趋势。
