the structure of the low-lying collective excitations in 102Pd is examined within the recently proposed microscopic shell-model version of the Bohr-Mottelson(BM)collective model.A good description of the excitation energies of the lowest ground,γ,andβbands,as well as the staggering function between the collective states of theγband and some other energy-dependent quantities,is *** low-energy intraband and interband quadrupole dynamics is reasonably well described within the present proton-neutron sympletic based shell-model approach without the use of an effective charge and compared with the predictions of nuclear structure *** obtained results of the present study shed light on the question of the existence of irrotational-flow type quadrupole dynamics,which lies on the ground of the original BM model of quantized vibrations and surface-wave rotations in atomic nuclei.

A nonlinear dynamic simulation model based on coordinated control of speed and flow rate for the molten salt reactor and combined cycle systems is proposed here to ensure the coordination and stability between the molten salt reactor and power *** model considers the impact of thermal properties of fluid variation on accuracy and has been validated with *** study reveals the capability of the control system to compensate for anomalous situations and maintain shaft stability in the event of perturbations occurring in high-temperature molten salt tank outlet ***,the control system’s impact on the system’s dynamic characteristics under molten salt disturbance is also *** results reveal that after the disturbance occurs,the controlled system benefits from the action of the control,and the overshoot and disturbance amplitude are positively correlated,while the system power and frequency eventually return to the initial *** simulation model provides a basis for utilizing molten salt reactors for power generation and maintaining grid stability.

the recently discovered,extremely proton-rich nuclide 18 Mg exhibits ground-state decay via two sequential two-proton(2p)emissions through the intermediate nucleus,*** study investigates the structure and the initial 2p decay mechanism of^(18)Mgby examining the density and correlations of the valence protons using a three-body Gamow coupled-channel *** results show that the ground state of^(18)Mgis significantly influenced by the continuum,resulting in a significant s-wave ***,based on the current framework,this does not lead to a significant deviation in mirror symmetry in either the structure or spectroscopy of the 18Mg-18C ***,the time evolution analysis of the^(18)Mgground state suggests a simultaneous 2p emission during the first step of *** observed nucleon-nucleon correlations align with those of the light-mass 2p emitters,indicating a consistent decay behavior within this nuclear region.

the SSRF phase-Ⅱ beamline project was launched in 2016. Its major goal was to establish a systematic state-of-the-art experimental facility for third-generation synchrotron radiation to solve problems in cutting-edge science and ***, the construction is fully completed. All 16 newly built beamlines with nearly 60 experimental methods passed acceptance testing by the Chinese Academy of sciences and are in operation.

this paper presents a novel artificial intelligence (AI) based approach to predict crucial meteorological parameters such as temperature,pressure,and wind speed,typically calculated from computationally intensive weather research and forecasting (WRF) *** meteorological data is indispensable for simulating the release of radioactive effluents,especially in dispersion modeling for nuclear emergency decision support *** of meteorological conditions during nuclear emergencies using the conventional WRF model is very complex and ***,a new artificial neural network (ANN) based technique was proposed as a viable alternative for meteorological prediction.A multi-input multi-output neural network was trained using historical site-specific meteorological data to forecast the meteorological *** evaluation of this technique was conducted to test its performance in forecasting various parameters including atmospheric pressure,temperature,and wind speed components in both East-West and North-South *** performance of developed network was evaluated on an unknown dataset,and acquired results are within the acceptable range for all meteorological *** show that ANNs possess the capability to forecast meteorological parameters,such as temperature and pressure,at multiple spatial locations within a grid with high accuracy,utilizing input data from a single ***,accuracy is slightly compromised when predicting wind speed *** mean square error (RMSE) was utilized to report the accuracy of predicted results,with values of 1.453℃for temperature,77 Pa for predicted pressure,1.058 m/s for the wind speed of U-component and 0.959 m/s for the wind speed of *** conclusion,this approach offers a precise,efficient,and wellinformed method for administrative decision-making during nuclear emergencies.

Recently,an extreme narrowband spectral response of only 8 nm in electronic-grade diamond-based photodetectors has been observed by Zheng Wei and his colleagues from Sun Yat-sen University for the first time.A charge collection narrowing mechanism assisted by free exciton radiative recombination is proposed,which well reveals the characteristic spectral response of diamond.

Objective:To explore the reduction effect for the indoor ^(222)Rn(Rn)by Fresh Air Ventilation(FAV)system,a novel commercial ventilation device in ***:the indoor concentrations of Rn and its decay products(RnD)in three residential rooms,two in Beijing and one in Hefei city,Anhui province,before and after FAVS functioned were measured using an active continuous *** air exchange rate was monitored by measuring CO_(2) concentration using the tracer gas ***:In the three rooms,the FAVS reduced the Rn concentrations from(162±80)Bq/m^(3) to(63±22)Bq/m^(3) and decreased the RnD concentrations from(64±35)Bq/m^(3) to(13±6)Bq/m^(3) on average,a decrease of(59±25)% in the Rn concentrations and a drop of(77±18)%in the RnD *** dose conversion factors of Rn and RnD,FAVS decreased the exposure dose by(76±20)%.Besides,FAVS increased the air exchange rates from 0.17 h^(-1) to 0.56 h^(-1) on ***:FAVS can effectively reduce indoor Rn and RnD concentrations by improving the air exchange,serving as a valuable supplement to existing radon mitigation methods,especially in extreme climates.
