Joint Multimodal Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis(JMASA)is a significant task in the research of multimodal fine-grained sentiment analysis,which combines two subtasks:Multimodal Aspect Term Extraction(MATE)and Multimodal Aspect-oriented Sentiment Classification(MASC).Currently,most existing models for JMASA only perform text and image feature encoding from a basic level,but often neglect the in-depth analysis of unimodal intrinsic features,which may lead to the low accuracy of aspect term extraction and the poor ability of sentiment prediction due to the insufficient learning of intra-modal *** this problem,we propose a Text-Image Feature Fine-grained Learning(TIFFL)model for ***,we construct an enhanced adjacency matrix of word dependencies and adopt graph convolutional network to learn the syntactic structure features for text,which addresses the context interference problem of identifying different aspect ***,the adjective-noun pairs extracted from image are introduced to enable the semantic representation of visual features more intuitive,which addresses the ambiguous semantic extraction problem during image feature ***,the model performance of aspect term extraction and sentiment polarity prediction can be further optimized and *** on two Twitter benchmark datasets demonstrate that TIFFL achieves competitive results for JMASA,MATE and MASC,thus validating the effectiveness of our proposed methods.

Multi-Scale Dilated Convolution Network for SPECT-MPI Cardiovascular Disease Classification with Adaptive Denoising and Attenuation Correction

Myocardial perfusion imaging(MPI),which uses single-photon emission computed tomography(SPECT),is a well-known estimating tool for medical diagnosis,employing the classification of images to show situations in coronary artery disease(CAD).The automatic classification of SPECT images for different techniques has achieved near-optimal accuracy when using convolutional neural networks(CNNs).This paper uses a SPECT classification framework with three steps:1)Image denoising,2)Attenuation correction,and 3)Image *** denoising is done by a U-Net architecture that ensures effective image *** correction is implemented by a convolution neural network model that can remove the attenuation that affects the feature extraction process of ***,a novel multi-scale diluted convolution(MSDC)network is *** merges the features extracted in different scales and makes the model learn the features more *** scales of filters with size 3×3 are used to extract *** three steps are compared with state-of-the-art *** proposed denoising architecture ensures a high-quality image with the highest peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)value of *** proposed classification method is compared with the five different CNN models,and the proposed method ensures better classification with an accuracy of 96%,precision of 87%,sensitivity of 87%,specificity of 89%,and F1-score of 87%.To demonstrate the importance of preprocessing,the classification model was analyzed without denoising and attenuation correction.

The rapid advancement of nanotechnology has sparked much interest in applying nanoscale perovskite materials for photodetection *** materials are promising candidates for next-generation photodetectors(PDs)due to their unique optoelectronic properties and flexible synthesis *** review explores the approaches used in the development and use of optoelectronic devices made of different nanoscale perovskite architectures,including quantum dots,nanosheets,nanorods,nanowires,and *** a thorough analysis of recent literature,the review also addresses common issues like the mechanisms underlying the degradation of perovskite PDs and offers perspectives on potential solutions to improve stability and scalability that impede widespread *** addition,it highlights that photodetection encompasses the detection of light fields in dimensions other than light intensity and suggests potential avenues for future research to overcome these obstacles and fully realize the potential of nanoscale perovskite materials in state-of-the-art photodetection *** review provides a comprehensive overview of nanoscale perovskite PDs and guides future research efforts towards improved performance and wider applicability,making it a valuable resource for researchers.

A novel spiking neural network of receptive field encoding with groups of neurons decision

Human information processing depends mainly on billions of neurons which constitute a complex neural network,and the information is transmitted in the form of neural *** this paper,we propose a spiking neural network(SNN),named MD-SNN,with three key features:(1) using receptive field to encode spike trains from images;(2) randomly selecting partial spikes as inputs for each neuron to approach the absolute refractory period of the neuron;(3) using groups of neurons to make *** test MD-SNN on the MNIST data set of handwritten digits,and results demonstrate that:(1) Different sizes of receptive fields influence classification results significantly.(2) Considering the neuronal refractory period in the SNN model,increasing the number of neurons in the learning layer could greatly reduce the training time,effectively reduce the probability of over-fitting,and improve the accuracy by 8.77%.(3) Compared with other SNN methods,MD-SNN achieves a better classification;compared with the convolution neural network,MD-SNN maintains flip and rotation invariance(the accuracy can remain at 90.44% on the test set),and it is more suitable for small sample learning(the accuracy can reach 80.15%for 1000 training samples,which is 7.8 times that of CNN).

Effects of Viscous Dissipation and Periodic Heat Flux on MHD Free Convection Channel FlowwithHeat Generation

This study investigates the influence of periodic heat flux and viscous dissipation on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)flow through a vertical channel with heat generation.A theoretical approach is *** channel is exposed to a perpendicular magnetic field,while one side experiences a periodic heat flow,and the other side undergoes a periodic temperature *** solutions for the governing partial differential equations are obtained using a finite difference approach,complemented by an eigenfunction expansion method for analytical *** and discussions illustrate how different variables affect the flow velocity and temperature *** offers comprehensive insights into MHD flow behavior and its interactions with the magnetic field,heat flux,viscous dissipation,and heat *** findings hold significance for engineering applications concerning fluid dynamics and heat transfer,offering valuable knowledge in this *** study concludes that the transient velocity and temperature profiles exhibit periodic patterns under periodic heat flow conditions.A temperature reduction is observed with an increase in the wall temperature phase *** contrast,an increase in the heat flux phase angle values raises the temperature values.

Autonomous driving: cognitive construction and situation understanding

Autonomous vehicle is a kind of typical complex artificial intelligence system. In current research of autonomous driving, the most widely adopted technique is to use a basic framework of serial information processing and computations, which consists of four modules: perception, planning, decision-making, and control. However, this framework based on data-driven computing performs low computational efficiency,poor environmental understanding and self-learning ability. A neglected problem has long been how to understand and process environmental perception data from the sensors referring to the cognitive psychology level of the human driving process. The key to solving this problem is to construct a computing model with selective attention and self-learning ability for autonomous driving, which is supposed to possess the mechanism of memorizing, inferring and experiential updating, enabling it to cope with traffic scenarios with high noise, dynamic, and randomness. In addition, for the process of understanding traffic scenes,the efficiency of event-related mechanism is more significant than single-attribute scenario perception ***, an effective self-driving method should not be confined to the traditional computing framework of‘perception, planning, decision-making, and control’. It is necessary to explore a basic computing framework that conforms to human driver’s attention, reasoning, learning, and decision-making mechanism with regard to traffic scenarios and build an autonomous system inspired by biological intelligence. In this article, we review the basic methods and main progress in current data-driven autonomous driving technologies, deeply analyze the limitations and major problems faced by related algorithms. A theory of constructing locally supported radial wavelet frame and its application

A new method for constructing locally supported radial wavelet frame or basis, which is different from the multiresolution analysis, is proposed. A continuously differentiable radial function with a local, support is chosen at first. Then a radial wavelet is obtained by the first and second derivatives of the radial function. If the radial function is both locally supported and infinitely differentiable, so is the radial wavelet. It is shown that the radial wavelet is a multidimensional dyadic one. I. Daubechies’ wavelet frame Theorem is extended from one dimension ton dimensions. It is proven that the family generated by dilations and translations from a single radial wavelet can constitute a frame inL 2(? n ). Consequently, it is concluded that the radial wavelet family generated by dilations and translations combined with their linear combination can constitute an orthonormal basis inL 2(? n ). Finally, an example of the radial wavelet, which is inseparable and with a local support and infinitely high regularity, is given based on the framework given here. As an application, a class of wavelet network for image denoising is designed, and an underrelaxation iterative fastlearning algorithm with varied learning rate is given as well.
