Greenhouse gas monitoring on a broader scale is necessary to ensure that a cap-and-trade system is effective, reduces measurement uncertainty, and detects fraudulent or illegal activities. The recent strict air quality regulation in livestock production facilities has accelerated the need for accurate on-farm determination of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission rates (ERs) from livestock operations in the United States under a wide range of production, management, and climate conditions. The estimation of GHG emissions from different ground-level sources or at a property line is a very complicated process, and such measurements require multidirectional expertise including engineering, micrometeorology, agronomy, applied physics, and chemistry. Accurate measurement of gaseous concentration from an emitting source is a prerequisite and of paramount importance for estimating emissions rates (ERs) using any micro-meteorological and sampling device-based method. This paper provides an overview of the state-of-the-art sensors and analyzers used to measure GHG concentrations. Sensor and analyzer selection and their performance in the laboratory and field were discussed. In addition, protocols for data quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) when deploying sensors in the area for long-term use were also discussed. In addition, the preparation of measurement systems, coupling of air samplers with sensing systems for measuring gaseous concentrations, and uncertainties inherent to such measurement methods as a whole to estimate ERs were discussed in this paper.

Interference of Quinolinate Phosphoribosyltransferase Gene QPT Affects Agronomic Traits and Leaf quality in Nicotiana tabacum L.

A 50 Hz pellet injection system which is mainly designed for ELM control has been successfully developed and integrated for the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST). Up to 50 Hz injection is achieved by two separated modules of the injection system which can operate at 1-25 Hz independently.A buffer tank and a two-stage differential pumping system of the 50 Hz pellet injection system has been designed to increase the hydrogen/deuterium ice quality by reducing the gas load on the extruder and reduce the propellant gas pressure under a critical level for eliminating its influence on the plasma operation, respectively. The ice quality was improved with the buffer tank pressure of about 1×10Pa and the pressure in 2 differential chamber could reach the magnitude of 10-4 Pa during the test. Besides, engineering tests which consist of 50 Hz pellet injection and guiding tube mock-up experiments have also been systematically carried out in the laboratory environment and demonstrated that the pellet injection system can reliably inject pellet with velocity of 250±50 m/s at 50 Hz.

Quinolinate phosphoribosyltransferase(QPRTase),a key enzyme in ensuring nicotinic acid is available for the synthesis of defensive pyridine alkaloids in Nicotiana species,also plays an important role in nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD)*** this study,the morphological traits,the quality characteristics and photosynthetic parameters in QPT-overexpressing/interfering tobacco plants were investigated,*** showed that the interference of QPT gene not only reduced significantly the morphological traits including plant height,stem girth,leaf number and leaf length,*** 20 days after transplanting(DAT),but the flowering period was delayed 10-15 d in interfered tobaccos compared with the overexpressed,control and wild-type ***,at 40 DAT and 60 DAT,only three indexes(plant height,stem girth and leaf number)in QPT-interfering plants appeared significant difference in comparison with other three types of tobacco ***,the determination results from nicotine,sugar,K+and Cl-content showed the nicotine content in interfered plants was always significantly lower than that in overexpressed plants,control and the wild-type ones respectively whatever toppling or *** the same time,the toppling treatment also caused the increasement of K+content among the four different tobacco lines,but the maximum increase amplitude of K+content was found in QPT-overexpressing tobaccos while the minimum appeared in QPT-interfering ***,QPT-interference in transgenic tobaccos likewise affected the photosynthesis by reducing net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomata conductance(Gs)and transpiration rate(Tr),while there was no significant difference between QPT-overexpressing plants and the controls and the wild-types.

准确的精液分析不仅对制订患者的治疗方案,而且对研究精液质量总体变化趋势、避孕效果和毒理作用都至关重要。导致精液分析标准化困难的原因有:精液分析缺乏可比较的客观标准,需要技术人员主观评定;技术人员缺乏培训;实验室的检测能力(PT)存在问题;实验室不愿意改变现有技术等。第5版《世界卫生组织人类精液分析实验室技术手册》提供了全面改进的标准流程,详尽地纠正了大量误解。然而仅从文字和图片上学习,效果有限。WHO专门编辑出版了一部DVD,为每项技术提供质量控制方法与标准示范,其中包括评估精子活力、形态和密度质量标准,这将提高手册的使用效率。然而,只有手册和DVD还不够,还有待于对建立标准化的技术和严格实施质量控制的重要性达成共识,并确保在实验室中完全按照该手册操作,而不仅仅是报道各实验室自己如何操作。除非精液分析得到改进,否则患者的诊疗质量将始终难以提高,而且比较不同实验室之间的研究结果,价值也会很有限。

Our laboratory has developed a continuous manufacturing platform for liposomes using a co-axial jet in co-flow and incorporating online PAT（process analytical technology）. DOE（design-of-experiments） approaches have been applied in the system design. The platform development will be presented along with application to liposomal drug delivery systems. Our continuous manufacturing platform is capable of tuning liposome particle size with precise control of the polydispersity index（PDI） to achieve monodisperse product. Identifying key process parameters and material attributes of liposomal formulations, such as the z-average particle size, polydispersity index and zeta-potential, are extremely important since they may impact the formulation quality, drug loading and in vivo performance of the final liposomal drug product.

基于作者早期提出的面包酵母细胞循环-代谢模型设计了3次最优控制实验,目的是使发酵终了时的带芽细胞分率FBC趋于极小值,以期提高酵母的耐贮存力。实验成功地得以实施,不仅FBC的终值接近理论上的极小值,而且样品的耐贮存力得到了明显提高。另一方面,发酵力分析结果也表明,面包酵母的质量控制将随产品种类的不同而异。如对速用型鲜酵母的生产,FBC的控制就不宜以极小化为目标。

Objective:To compare the safety and efficacy of Kang’ai injection combined with chemotherapy and chemotherapy alone in the treatment of non-small cell lung ***:The related control and randomized studies from 1966 to October 01,2022,were retrieved in the following databases:China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang databases,Value In Paper,SinoMed,PubMed,Embase and Cochrane Library.A comprehensive literature search was conducted in 7 electronic databases identifying all the relevant randomized controlled *** handbook 5.2.3 was applied to evaluate the quality of included trials,and the RevMan 5.3 software was used to analyze data and assess the publication ***:From the 16 studies reviewed,a total of 1,398 patients were *** with docetaxel+cis-platinum chemotherapy alone,Kang’ai injection combined with docetaxel+cis-platinum chemotherapy showed significant effects in improving clinical response rate(RR:1.40,95%confidence interval(CI)(1.25,1.58)),quality of life score(Karnofsky score)(RR:1.53,95%CI(1.32,1.78)),traditional Chinese medicine syndrome(RR:2.01,95%CI(1.43,2.83))and safety(RR:0.62,95%CI(0.54,0.71)),the differences were statistically ***:Kang’ai injection may increase the therapeutic effectiveness,improve the quality of life,and reduce the toxicity of chemotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung *** results require confirmation by further rigorously designed randomized controlled trials(PROSPERO registration number:CRD42020176917).

To systematically assess the effectiveness and safety of using acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine for functional constipation so as to provide the evidence-based data for clinical *** databases,CBM,VIP,CNKI,PubMed,Cochrane Library and EMbase were searched for trials based on randomization and control for use of acupuncture in combination with CHM for functional constipation published from the inception of the database to *** used the risk of bias of Cochrane Collaboration for literature quality assessment,extracted trial data in duplicate,and then assessed the risk of *** data were discussed by adopting Review Manager 5.3 program.A total of 22 RCTs with 2574 cases were ***-analysis showed that acupuncture with CHM could improve the clinical effectiveness(OR6.10,95%CI 4.72–7.87,Pcontrol groups,whereas defecation symptoms were not significantly different(P=0.06).The use of acupuncture with CHM can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of functional constipation,ameliorate Bristol Stool Scale,defecation difficulty,defecation symptoms,and accompanying symptoms,as well as shorten the defecation interval time,with better safety.
