Popular fermented golden pomfret(Trachinotus ovatus)is prepared via spontaneous fermentation;however,the mechanisms underlying the regulation of its flavor development remain *** study shows the roles of the complex microbiota and the dynamic changes in microbial community and flavor compounds during fish ***-molecule real-time sequencing and molecular networking analysis revealed the correlations among different microbial genera and the relationships between microbial taxa and volatile *** underlying flavor development were also elucidated via KEGG based functional ***,Shewanella,and Staphylococcus were the dominant microbial ***-nine volatile compounds were detected in the fermented fish samples,with thirteen identified as characteristic volatile compounds(rOAV>1).Volatile profiles resulted from the interactions among the microorganisms and derived enzymes,with the main metabolic pathways being amino acid biosynthesis/metabolism,carbon metabolism,and glycolysis/*** study demonstrated the approaches for distinguishing key microbiota associated with volatile compounds and monitoring the industrial production of high-quality fermented fish products.

Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have great potential to be the next major energy storage devices due to their obvious advantages and developing advanced electrodes and electrolytes is urgently necessary to promote its future ***,hard carbon as a state-of-the-art anode of SIBs still suffers from the low initial Coulomb efficiency and unsatisfactory rate capability,which could be improved by forming desirable solid electrolyte interphases (SEI) to some ***,the chemistry and morphology of these interfacial layers are fundamental parameters affecting the overall battery operation,and optimizing the electrolyte to dictate the quality of SEI on hard carbon is a key ***,this review summarizes the recent research on SEI design by electrolyte manipulation from solvents,salts,and *** also presents some potential mechanisms of SEI formation in various electrolyte ***,the current advanced characterization techniques for electrolyte and SEI structure analyses have been comprehensively ***,current challenges and future perspectives of SEI formation on hard carbon anode for SIBs are provided from the viewpoints of its compositions,evolution processes,structures,and characterization techniques,which will promote SEI efficient manipulation and improve the performance of hard carbon,and further contribute to the development of SIBs.

This review highlights the importance of recovering valuable metals from spent Li-ion battery(LIB)cathodes through the resynthesis of cathode active materials(CAMs).The resynthesis process of CAMs,a promising recycling method that directly produces CAM precursors from LIB leachate,is *** process encompasses six key steps,including pretreatment,leaching,purification,adjustment of metal concentrations,precursor synthesis,and *** review also investigates the potential introduction of impurity elements during CAM resynthesis and provides tolerance levels for these impurities based on thorough reference ***,it addresses challenges related to the commercialization of the resynthesis ***,this review represents the first comprehensive assessment of CAM resynthesis,including the systematic evaluation of 12 impurity elements(Fe,Li,Al,Cu,C,P,F,Na,Cl,S,Mg,and Zn).Overall,this comprehensive review is poised to support the commercial development of resynthesized CAMs by offering valuable guidelines for managing impurities and streamlining the purification process.

As a type of austenitic stainless steel,316L stainless steel has excellent plasticity,corrosion resistance,and biocompatibility,making it widely used in industries,especially in the marine ***,its lower yield strength and wear resistance are the obvious disadvantages that restrict its application in more *** this work,an Fe-based amorphous alloy(Fe^(am))was selected as reinforcement to enhance the 316L stainless steel prepared by selective laser melting(SLM),and microstructure evolution,mechanical properties,tribological and corrosion performance of the SLMed samples were investigated in *** relative density values of both 316L stainless steel and Fe^(am)-reinforced samples are above 99%,which suggests that Fe^(am)-reinforced samples also have outstanding *** the as-etched micrograph,all of the SLMed samples exhibit cellular ***^(am)-reinforced samples have thicker sub-grain boundaries,and retained amorphous phase can be observed in the samples reinforced with 10 wt%and 15 wt%Fe^(am).As the addition of Fe^(am) increases,the microhardness and compression strength of the Fe^(am)-reinforced samples gradually improve and reach 449.2 HV and 2181.9 MPa,*** wear morphologies show that the 316L stainless steel and Fe^(am)-reinforced samples both experience abrasive wear and corrosion wear in a 3.5 wt%NaCl ***,as the amount of Fe^(am) added increases,the coefficient of friction and wear rate of SLMed samples gradually *** to the unreinforced sample,Fe^(am)-reinforced samples have lower corrosion current density and higher pitting potential according to the potentiodynamic polarization curves and also exhibit superior corrosion resistance in the salt spray *** work suggests that the addition of Fe-based amorphous alloy can improve the mechanical properties and wear resistance of 316L stainless steel,as well as its ability to withstand salt spray corrosion.

Atomically precise metal nanoclusters(MNCs),as a potential type of photoacoustic(PA)contrast agent,are limited in application due to their low PA conversion efficiency(PACE).Here,with hydrophilic Au25Sr18(Sr=thiolate)as model NCs,we present a result that weakly polar solvent induces aggregation,which effectively enhances PA intensity and *** PA intensity and PACE are highly dependent on the degree of aggregation,while the aggregation-enhanced PA intensity(AEPA)positively correlates to the protected *** an AEPA phenomenon indicates that aggregation actually accelerates the intramolecular motion of Au NCs,and enlarges the proportion of excited state energy dissipated through vibrational *** result conflicts with the restriction of intramolecular motion mechanism of aggregation-induced *** experiments show that the increased energy of AEPA originates from the aggregation inhibiting the intermolecular energy transfer from excited Au NCs to their surrounding medium molecules,including solvent molecule and dissolved oxygen,rather than restricting radiative *** study develops a new strategy for enhancing the PA intensity of Au NCs,and contributes to a deeper understanding of the origin of the PA signal and the excited state energy dissipation processes for MNCs.

Enhancement of CH_(3)CO^(*) adsorption by editing d-orbital states of Pd to boost C–C bond cleavage of ethanol eletrooxidation

Improving the complete ethanol electrooxidation on Pd-based catalysts in alkaline media has drawn widely attention due to the high mass energy ***,the weak adsorption energy of CH_(3)CO^(*) on Pd restricts the C–C bond *** by the molecular orbital theory,we proposed the d-state-editing strategy to construct more unoccupied d-states of Pd for the enhanced interaction with CH_(3)CO^(*) to break C–C *** expected,the reduced number of e_g electrons and more unoccupied d-states of Pd successfully formed on as-prepared porous rh Au–Pd Cu nanosheets(PNSs).Theoretical calculations show that the optimized d-states of rh Au–Pd Cu PNS can effectively improve the adsorption of CH_(3)CO^(*) and drastically reduce the energy barrier of C–C bond cleavage,thus boosting the complete oxidation of *** charge ratio of C_1 pathway on rh Au–Pd Cu PNSs is 51.5%,more than 2 times higher than that of Pd *** finding provides an innovative perspective for the design of highly-efficient noble-based electrocatalysts.
