Spatiotemporal patterns and drivers of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,northern China

Protection and optimization of cultivated land resources are of great significance to national food *** land conversion in northern China has increased in recent years due to the industrialization and urbanization of ***,the assessment of cultivated land conversion in this area is insufficient,posing a potential risk to cultivated land *** study evaluated the evolution and spatiotemporal patterns of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,China,and the driving factors to improve rational utilization and to protect cultivated land *** spatiotemporal patterns of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia were analyzed using the cultivated land conversion index,kernel density analysis,a standard deviation ellipse model,and a geographic *** showed that from 2000 to 2020,the trends in cultivated land conversion area and rate in Inner Mongolia exhibited fluctuating growth,with the total area of cultivated land conversion reaching 7307.59 km^(2) at a rate of 6.69%.Spatial distribution of cultivated land conversion was primarily concentrated in the Hetao Plain,Nengjiang Plain,Liaohe Plain,and the Hohhot-Baotou-ordos urban ***,the standard deviational ellipse of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia exhibited a directional southwest-northeast-southwest-northeast distribution,with the northeast-southwest direction identified as the main driving force of spatial change in cultivated land ***,cultivated land conversion exhibited an increase-decrease-increase change process,indicating that spatial distribution of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia became gradually apparent within the study *** geographic detector results further revealed that the main driving factors of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia were the share of secondary and tertiary industries and per-unit area yield of grain,with explanatory rates of 57.00%,55.0

Lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries promise high-energy-density potential to exceed the commercialized lithiumion batteries but suffer from limited cycling lifespan due to the side reactions between lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and Li metal ***,a three-way electrolyte with ternary solvents is proposed to enable high-energy-density and long-cycling Li–S pouch ***,ternary solvents composed of 1,2-dimethoxyethane,di-isopropyl sulfide,and 1,3,5-trioxane are employed to guarantee smooth cathode kinetics,inhibit the parasitic reactions,and construct a robust solid electrolyte interphase,*** cycling lifespan of Li–S coin cells with 50μm Li anodes and 4.0 mg cm^(−2) sulfur cathodes is prolonged from88 to 222 cycles using the three-way ***-heterogeneous solvation structure of LiPSs and organic-rich solid electrolyte interphase are identified to improve the cycling stability of Li metal ***,a 3.0 Ah-level Li–S pouch cell with the three-way electrolyte realizes a high energy density of 405 Wh kg^(−1) and undergoes 27 *** affords a three-way electrolyte recipe for suppressing the side reactions of LiPSs and inspires rational electrolyte design for practical high-energy-density and long-cycling Li–S batteries.

Variation in plant diversity and dominance across dune fixation stages in the Chinese steppe zone

Aims Our aim was to study how diversity and dominance of plant species and plant functional types(PFTs)change and covary across three dune fixation stages in the Chinese steppe *** In the Chinese steppe zone,we measured coverage,mean height and density of each plant species in three types of dunes(mobile,semi-fixed and fixed dunes)in four sites(Mu Us,Otindag,Hulunbeir and Horqin).Plant species were grouped into 24 PFTs according to their lifespan,photosynthetic pathway,reproductive mode and life *** of each plant species and PFT were determined,and species diversity and PFT diversity were quantified using Shannon–Wiener *** Findings PFT diversity was positively related to plant species diversity in each dune stage,but PFT diversity increased more with increasing plant species diversity in the mobile and semi-fixed dunes than in the fixed *** fixation stage explained 87.2%of the variation in plant species diversity and 84.8%of the variation in PFT *** species and PFTs differed among the three dune fixation stages;the more fixed the dunes were,the more perennial,shrubby,clonal and C3 species ***,in mobile dunes annual C4 non-clonal herbs were the most dominant,and in semi-fixed and fixed dunes perennial C3 clonal shrubs were most dominant.

Quantitative estimation of the shrub canopy LAI from atmosphere-corrected HJ-1 CCD data in Mu Us Sandland

The leaf area index(LAI) is an important ecological parameter that characterizes the interface between vegetation canopy and the *** addition,it is used by most process-oriented ecosystem *** paper investigates the potential of HJ-1 CCD data combined with linear spectral unmixing and an inverted geometric-optical model for the retrieval of the shrub LAI in Wushen Banner of Inner Mongolia in the Mu Us ***(Moderate Resolution Atmospheric Radiance and Transmittance Model) was used for atmospheric *** was extracted using the threshold of the normalized difference vegetation index,with which water bodies and farmland were separated,in combination with a vegetation map of the People's Republic of China(1:1000000).Using the geometric-optical model,we derive the per-pixel reflectance as a simple linear combination of two components,namely sunlit background and *** fraction of sunlit background is related to the shrub *** the support of HJ-1 CCD data,we employ linear spectral unmixing to obtain the fraction of sunlit background in an atmospherically corrected HJ *** addition,we use the measured shrub canopy structural parameters for shrub communities to invert the geometric-optical model and retrieve the pixel-based shrub *** total,18 sample plots collected in Wushen Banner of Inner Mongolia are used for *** results of the shrub LAI show good agreement with R2 of 0.817 and a root-mean-squared error of 0.173.

This study aims to introduce the protocol for ultrasonic backscatter measurements of musculoskeletal properties based on a novel ultrasonic backscatter bone diagnostic(UBBD)***-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)can be adopted to measure bone mineral density(BMD)in the hip,spine,legs and the whole *** muscle and fat mass in the legs and the whole body can be also calculated by DXA body composition *** on the proposed protocol for backscatter measurements by UBBD,ultrasonic backscatter signals can be measured in vivo,deriving three backscatter parameters[apparent integral backscatter(AIB),backscatter signal peak amplitude(BSPA)and the corresponding arrival time(BSPT)].AIB may provide important diagnostic information about bone *** and BSPT may be important indicators of muscle and fat *** standardized backscatter measurement protocol of the UBBD instrument may have the potential to evaluate musculoskeletal characteristics,providing help for promoting the application of the backscatter technique in the clinical diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs),such as osteoporosis and muscular atrophy.

Effects of Alkaloids in Oxytropis glabra on Mouse T Lymphocytes

The effects of different doses of swainonine（ SW）,thermopsine（ Ts） and their mixture on transformation of mouse T lymphocytes were studied,in order to figure out the poisoning mechanism of Oxytropis glabra. Totally 240 mice were randomly grouped,and orally administrated with different concentrations of SW,Ts and their mixture. Four mice were randomly selected from each group at the 7th,14th,21st and 35th days,and lymphocytes were separated from anti-coagulated blood collected from eyeball. After Con A stimulation,T lymphocyte proliferation was detected by MTT assay. The results showed that low dose of SW promoted proliferation of mouse T lymphocyte; medium and high dose of SW also promoted proliferation of mouse T lymphocyte within a short period,but would seriously suppress its proliferation after a long period. Low dose of Ts almost had no impact on proliferation of T lymphocyte,while high dose also suppressed its proliferation.A similar result with SW was observed on alkaloid mixture. This indicated that different doses of SW,Ts and their mixture affected proliferation of T lymphocyte in different degrees.

Expression and significance of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin in triple-negative breast cancer tissues

Objective:To detect the expression of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin in triple negative breast cancer tissues and paracancer breast tissues by qRT-PCR and immunohistochemistry and to analyze their correlation with clinicopathological ***:(1)qRT-PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin in 30 cases of triple negative breast cancer and their paracancer breast tissues,and the correlation among them was analyzed.(2)The expression of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin proteins in 30 triple negative breast cancer and their paracancer breast tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry,and their correlation with clinicopathological features was ***:(1)Shh mRNA expression(1.2334±0.27867),Gli1 mRNA expression(1.2135±0.20636)and β-catenin mRNA expression(1.1421±0.32330)in triple negative breast cancer tissues were higher than that in paracancer breast tissues,i.e.,Shh mRNA expression(1.0022±0.06721),Gli1 mRNA expression(1.0003±0.02420)and β-catenin mRNA expression(1.0033±0.07920)were significantly different(p<.05).There was a significantly positive correlation between the mRNA expression of Shh and Gli1(r=.989,p<.001),and between the mRNA expression of Shh and β-catenin(r=.868,p<.001).There was a significantly positive correlation between the mRNA expression of Gli1 and β-catenin expression(r=.869,p<.001).(2)The positive expression rates of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin in triple negative breast cancer tissues were 93.3%(28/30),96.7%(29/30)and 93.3%(28/30),respectively,which were higher than those in paracancer tissues 60%(18/30),73.3%(22/30)and 73.3%(22/30),the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).There was a significantly positive correlation between the mRNA expression of Shh and Gli1(r=.958,p<.001),and between the mRNA expression of Shh and β-catenin(r=.952,p<.001).There was a significantly positive correlation between the mRNA expression of Gli1 and β-catenin expression(r=.927,p<.001).The expression of Shh,Gli1 and β-catenin protei
