A Review on Sustainable Product design, Marketing Strategies and Conscious Consumption of Bamboo Lifestyle Products

Conscious consumption is a trend that is here to stay since consumers are becoming more aware of their purchasing decision and its impact on their health & environment. To sustain in the market on the move towards sustainability and meet the demands, companies need to re-examine their footprints and incorporate green practices in their products and organization. Using eco-friendly material & processes is one of the remedies to come up with this, and bamboo is one of the most versatile, green and renewable natural resources on planet earth. Traditionally bamboo has been exploited to a large extent but cutting-edge options available for bamboo are still limited and have a scope of indulging fully in the lifestyle of people in India. The global market size of bamboo was valued at UED 53.28 billion in 2020, and it is expected to grow at compound annual growth rate of 5.7% from 2022 to 2028. There is increasing demand for sustainable construction, and furniture and handicraft products also have considerable weightage. Manny brands and craft clusters of bamboo are realizing and promoting this green quotient of bamboo to the market to attract the eco-conscious audience and trying to cope up with the advancement of sustainability, like certifications of being a green organisation. Despite the exceptional qualities of bamboo, it is considered as a marginalized material due to low production rate, high competition with the non-eco-friendly or cheaper alternatives, aesthetics and marketing gaps. There is a gap between willingness to purchase and an actual purchase when it comes to the sustainable products and marketing plays a major role in conversions. The main purpose of the research is to study and understand the product, craft, design, production processes and marketing practices of bamboo lifestyle products and how conscious consumption patterns influence the bamboo products and the industry in relevance to the sustainability. Visual merchandising encourages customers to enter the store by making it appealing to them and influencing their perception of it. It is the art of putting together effective display designs and ideas in order to boost store traffic and sales. It’s also a way to engage with customers and influence their purchasing decisions. A fashion trend occurs when a particular item, silhouette, color, or other new look rises in popularity. It changes with the seasons, and the store serves as a hub for communicating these changes to potential customers. Because items must be sold within a certain time frame, several display tactics are used to best present the merchandise and communicate the current fashion trends to customers. Visual merchandising becomes a key aspect of difference from merchants in the same category as retail firms, particularly fashion brands, try to compete in an already saturated market. Effective branding is now a vital success component for all types of fashion firms. fashion brands may use effective branding tactics to build equity, promote consumer brand loyalty, and increase profitability. Visual merchandising is critical for inferring various customers’ perspectives and adding value to businesses. Its major goal is no longer to make items appealing in order to sell them quickly;it is rather to stand out, develop the correct brand image, and give the greatest possible customer experience. Visual merchandising aspects, when employed correctly, can infiltrate the buyer’s brain and prompt them to generate a favorable opinion of the store, allowing it to leverage its brand image. In this context, this research review focuses and aims to study the link between visual merchandising and Apparel fashion trends, to study the relationship between visual merchandising and fashion branding and to find out the research gaps and scope for future research directions in the area of visual merchandising applied in fashion apparel industry.

In this paper I examine the personal creative route that I took to establish a body of work（5 large drawings） that was inspired from a visit to Korea.I focus on my motivations with regard to this *** major considerations were my wish to employ drawing as a primary research tool;that the works would be highly subjective pieces dealing with memory and associations and that they would directly refer to the development of visual languages established in early part of the 20th century（collage and montage）.I will seek to place the work recognizably within the traditions and values of contemporary painting and offer an understanding of the emotional and aesthetic issues that drove the making of the work.I will attempt to describe a personal mythology centered upon virtue and democracy that informs the work.I will lodge a case for drawing and the tuition of drawing as a necessary part of students’ education.

Poly（trimethyleneterephthalate）（PTT）/styrene-ethylene-buthylene-styrene（SEBS）composites were prepared by melt *** opticalmicroscopy was used to observe the spherulitic morphology and the crystalstructure of PTT and PTT/SEBS *** electron microscopy was used to determine the dispersion and the compatibility of fracture surfaces of PTT and *** curves of thermalgravimetric analysis illustrated that the thermo stability decreased with increasing SEBS *** calorimetry was used to investigate the crystallization behavior;and the result showed that the glass transition temperature of the compound increased with the SEBS *** Avramiequation described the isothermalcrystallization ***-strain curves for PTT and PTT/SEBS composites showed that the elongation at break was enhanced with increasing SEBS content.

Neutral aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)have tremendous potential for grid-level energy storage and portable wearable ***,certain performance deficiencies of the components have limited the employment of ZIBs in practical ***,a range of pristine materials and their composites with fiber-based structures have been used to produce more efficient cathodes,anodes,current collectors,and separators for addressing the current challenges in *** functional materials can be manufactured into different fiber forms,which can be subsequently converted into various yarn structures,or interwoven into different 2D and 3D fabric-like constructions to attain various electrochemical performances and mechanical *** this review,we provide an overview of the concepts and principles of fiber-based materials for ZIBs,after which the application of various materials in fiber-based structures are discussed under different domains of ZIB ***,the current challenges of these materials,fabrication technologies and corre-sponding future development prospects are addressed.

Preparation and Performance of Collagen Modified Polyester Used as Implantable Artificial Hair

The implantable artificial hair was prepared by grafting collagen on the surface of poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)to improve its *** acid(AAc)was used to modify the surface properties of PET firstly,and then collagen was grafted on the PET-AAc *** concentration of collagen solution was discussed to graft more collagen on PET *** were well characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).SEM indicated that collagen with about 3.07μm thickness was coated on PET surface when the concentration of collagen solution was 1.0 mg/m *** and XPS showed AAc and collagen were both on the surface of PET *** optimized concentration of collagen solution was 1.0 mg/m L,resulting in the most grafting density of 3.46μg/cm^(2).It can be concluded that a large amount of collagen is coated on PET surface.

Study on Licker-In and Flat Speeds of Carding Machine and Its Effects on Quality of Cotton Spinning Process

Spinning has a significant influence on all textile processes. Combinations of all the capital equipment display the process’ critical condition. By transforming unprocessed fibers into carded sliver and yarn, the carding machine serves a critical role in the textile industry. The carding machine’s licker-in and flat speeds are crucial operational factors that have a big influence on the finished goods’ quality. The purpose of this study is to examine the link between licker-in and flat speeds and how they affect the yarn and carded sliver quality. A thorough experimental examination on a carding machine was carried out to accomplish this. The carded sliver and yarn produced after experimenting with different licker-in and flat speed combinations were assessed for important quality factors including evenness, strength, and flaws. To account for changes in material qualities and machine settings, the study also took into consideration the impact of various fiber kinds and processing circumstances. The findings of the investigation showed a direct relationship between the quality of the carded sliver and yarn and the licker-in and flat speeds. Within a limited range, greater licker-in speeds were shown to increase carding efficiency and decrease fiber tangling. On the other hand, extremely high speeds led to more fiber breakage and neps. Higher flat speeds, on the other hand, helped to enhance fiber alignment, which increased the evenness and strength of the carded sliver and yarn. Additionally, it was discovered that the ideal blend of licker-in and flat rates varied based on the fiber type and processing circumstances. When being carded, various fibers displayed distinctive behaviors that necessitated adjusting the operating settings in order to provide the necessary quality results. The study also determined the crucial speed ratios between the licker-in and flat speeds that reduced fiber breakage and increased the caliber of the finished goods. The results of this

I will examine the cultural,social and educational values that informed the content of the brief and the personal motivations that lay behind its construction. Also I will look at the period of post war Britain and America,a period that significantly influenced my creative expression.I will make a case for the value of collage and mark making as exemplified by the Expressionists as an apposite skill for fashion students to acquire.

Characterization and Performance of Magnesium Doped Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles

The bioactive glass and related biomaterials have become increasingly popular, and have also attracted the research interest of many researchers in recent years due its special performance and tissue engineering application. In this study, to create a material with a variety of properties Mg doped hollow bioactive glass (Mg-HBG) of 80SiO2-5P2O5-10CaO-5MgO system had been produced by using a sol-gel method. The porous structure nanoparticles were specifically made by employing the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a surfactant. Magnesium was selected as a doped material with HBG, because it is the most existing cations in the human body which helps for bone metabolism as well as it has antibacterial property. Based on different investigations resulted nanoparticle with the inclusion of the lower molar fractions magnesium has good tested result. For a drug model vancomycin hydrochloride (VAN) was used in this study and it has also good antibacterial activity effect. These findings help the possibility of using Mg-HBG nanoparticles to treat infectious bone abnormalities by demonstrating their compatibility with antibiotics, drug loading and release behavior.
