General Synthetic Iterative Scheme for Unsteady Rarefied Gas Flows

In rarefied gas flows,the spatial grid size could vary by several orders of magnitude in a single flow configuration(e.g.,inside the Knudsen layer it is at the order of mean free path of gas molecules,while in the bulk region it is at a much larger hydrodynamic scale).Therefore,efficient implicit numerical method is urgently needed for time-dependent ***,the integro-differential nature of gas kinetic equations poses a grand challenge,as the gain part of the collision operator is *** an iterative solver is required in each time step,which usually takes a lot of iterations in the(near)continuum flow regime where the Knudsen number is small;worse still,the solution does not asymptotically preserve the fluid dynamic limit when the spatial cell size is not refined *** on the general synthetic iteration scheme for steady-state solution of the Boltzmann equation,we propose two numerical schemes to push the multiscale simulation of unsteady rarefied gas flows to a new boundary,that is,the numerical solution not only converges within dozens of iterations in each time step,but also asymptotically preserves the Navier-Stokes-Fourier limit in the continuum flow regime,when the spatial grid is coarse,and the time step is large(e.g.,in simulating the extreme slow decay of two-dimensional Taylor vortex,the time step is even at the order of vortex decay time).The properties of fast convergence and asymptotic preserving of the proposed schemes are not only rigorously proven by the Fourier stability analysis for simplified gas kinetic models,but also demonstrated by several numerical examples for the gas kinetic models and the Boltzmann equation.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascades play important roles in disease resistance in model plant ***,the functions of MAPK signaling pathways in crop disease resistance are largely *** we report the function of HvMKK1-HvMPK4-HvWRKY1 module in barley immune ***4 is identified to play a negative role in barley immune response against Bgh,as virus-induced gene silencing of HvMPK4 results in enhanced disease resistance whilst stably overexpressing HvMPK4 leads to super-susceptibility to Bgh ***,the barley MAPK kinase HvMKK1 is found to specifically interact with HvMPK4,and the activated HvMKK1^(DD) variant specifically phosphorylates HvMPK4 in ***,the transcription factor HvWRKY1 is identified to be a downstream target of HvMPK4 and phosphorylated by HvMPK4 in vitro in the presence of HvMKK1^(DD).Phosphorylation assay coupled with mutagenesis analyses identifies S122,T284,and S347 in HvWRKY1 as the major residues phosphorylated by ***1 is phosphorylated in barley at the early stages of Bgh infection,which enhances its suppression on barley immunity likely due to enhanced DNA-binding and transcriptional repression *** data suggest that the HvMKK1-HvMPK4 kinase pair acts upstream of HvWRKY1 to negatively regulate barley immunity against powdery mildew.

Cervical Cancer Prediction Empowered with Federated Machine Learning

Cervical cancer is an intrusive cancer that imitates various women around the world. Cervical cancer ranks in thefourth position because of the leading death cause in its premature stages. The cervix which is the lower end of thevagina that connects the uterus and vagina forms a cancerous tumor very slowly. This pre-mature cancerous tumorin the cervix is deadly if it cannot be detected in the early stages. So, in this delineated study, the proposed approachuses federated machine learning with numerous machine learning solvers for the prediction of cervical cancer totrain the weights with varying neurons empowered fuzzed techniques to align the neurons, Internet of MedicalThings (IoMT) to fetch data and blockchain technology for data privacy and models protection from hazardousattacks. The proposed approach achieves the highest cervical cancer prediction accuracy of 99.26% and a 0.74%misprediction rate. So, the proposed approach shows the best prediction results of cervical cancer in its early stageswith the help of patient clinical records, and all medical professionals will get beneficial diagnosing approachesfrom this study and detect cervical cancer in its early stages which reduce the overall death ratio of women due tocervical cancer.

Liposomes are one of the significant classes of antitumor nanomaterials and the most successful nanomedicine drugs in clinical translation. However, it is difficult to accurately reveal liposome delivery modes and drug release rates at different p H values to assess the biodistribution and drug delivery pathways in vivo. Here, we established a strategy to integrate Bi-doped carbon quantum dots(CQDs)with liposomes to produce fluorescence visualization and therapeutic effects, namely lipo/Bi-doped ***/Bi-doped CQDs show good water solubility and physicochemical properties, which can be used for in vitro labeling of colon cancer(CT26) cells and in vivo imaging localization tracking tumors for monitoring. Simultaneously, thanks to the excellent p H sensitivity and ion doping characteristic of Bi-doped CQDs, lipo/Bi-doped CQDs can be used to reveal the drug release rate of liposomes at different p H values and exhibit potential effects in vivo antitumor therapy.

Lipid-lowering effect of Oroxylum indicum(L.)Kurz extract in hyperlipidemic mice

Objective:To investigate the effect of Oroxylum indicum fruit extract on high-fat diet-induced hyperlipidemic ***:The phytochemical composition of Oroxylum indicum fruit extract was determined by liquid chromatographymass spectrometry/mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)and gas chromatography-mass ***-two male mice were *** mice were divided into six groups:normal control,high-fat diet control,simvastatin treatment(20 mg/kg BW/day),and Oroxylum indicum fruit extract(100,200,300 mg/kg BW/day)treatment *** intake,body weight,serum parameters,lipid profile,and histopathological lesions of the kidney,liver,and epididymal fat were ***:LC-MS/MS results revealed four major components of Oroxylum indicum fruit extract:luteolin,apigenin,baicalein,and oroxylin ***-seven volatile oils were identified from Oroxylum indicum fruit *** oral administration of Oroxylum indicum fruit extract at 100 to 300 mg/kg BW/day significantly reduced the body weight,total cholesterol,triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol level(P<0.05),whereas high-density lipoprotein cholesterol was higher than the high-fat diet control *** with 300 mg/kg BW/day Oroxylum indicum fruit extract reduced the pathological lesion and prevented fat accumulation in the kidney and ***:Oroxylum indicum fruit extract has hypolipidemic effect in hyperlipidemic mice,and the active ingredients of Oroxylum indicum fruit extract,both flavonoids and volatile oils,should be further explored as an antihyperlipidemic agent.

Molecular Dynamics Study of Star Polymer Melts under Start-up Shear

It has been established that star polymers with a large number of arms display both the conventional chain relaxation and a slower interchain relaxation due to the formation of hard cores,which is called the local structural ***,we demonstrate that this unique relaxation property of multi-arm stars leads to unusual rheological *** study the response of star polymer melts with various arm numbers to start-up shear flow via nonequilibrium molecular dynamics *** simulation results indicate that the stress-strain response of multi-arm star polymer melts differs from that of star polymers with a small number of arms in both quantitative and qualitative *** the multi-arm star polymer melts exhibit an overshoot peak in the stress-strain curve both at relatively small and sufficiently large shear rates,two overshoot peaks appear when the flow strength is comparable to the relaxation time of the star *** double stress overshoot is absent in linear polymers and star polymers with a small number of arms and is evidently related to the presence of the local structural relaxation in star polymers with a large number of *** present a detailed analysis of the conformational and dynamical properties of star polymer melts under start-up shear to gain a molecular understanding of their stress response.

Object Tracking Algorithm Based on Multi-Time-Space Perception and Instance-Specific Proposals

Aiming at the problem that a single correlation filter model is sensitive to complex scenes such as background interference and occlusion,a tracking algorithm based on multi-time-space perception and instance-specific proposals is proposed to optimize the mathematical model of the correlation filter(CF).Firstly,according to the consistency of the changes between the object frames and the filter frames,the mask matrix is introduced into the objective function of the filter,so as to extract the spatio-temporal information of the object with background ***,the object function of multi-feature fusion is constructed for the object location,which is optimized by the Lagrange method and solved by closed *** the process of filter optimization,the constraints term of time-space perception is designed to enhance the learning ability of the CF to optimize the final track-ing ***,when the tracking results fluctuate,the boundary suppres-sion factor is introduced into the instance-specific proposals to reduce the risk of model drift *** accuracy and success rate of the proposed algorithm are verified by simulation analysis on two popular benchmarks,the object tracking benchmark 2015(OTB2015)and the temple color 128(TC-128).Extensive experimental results illustrate that the optimized appearance model of the proposed algorithm is *** distance precision rate and overlap success rate of the proposed algorithm are 0.756 and 0.656 on the OTB2015 benchmark,which are better than the results of other competing *** results of this study can solve the problem of real-time object tracking in the real traffic environment and provide a specific reference for the detection of traffic abnormalities.

Investigating the Head Impact Force-Induced Evolution of Hyperphosphorylated Tau Proteins in Brain Tissue Through Mechanical Mesoscale Finite Element Simulation
