Introduction: The management of kidney stones has benefited from endoscopic techniques, in particular the development of flexible ureteroscopy (ureterorenoscopy). This endoscopic treatment has made it possible to treat many upper urinary tract stones, with satisfactory results and less morbidity. This innovative minimally invasive technique was introduced in our country in 2018. It is not practiced in all health structures. We report our experience. Objectives: The aim of our study was to evaluate the place of flexible ureteroscopy laser, its feasibility, and the results on stones up to 30 mm in size only in the lower calicial group, while assessing the postoperative quality of life. Patients and Methods: We conducted a monocentric observational retrospective study at the Omar Bongo Ondimba Army Training Hospital (OBO ATH) on 22 patients with symptomatic inferior caliciel stones, over a period of January 2019 and December 2020 treated by flexible ureteroscopy laser (FUR-L), once or twice depending on the size of the residual fragments. Results: All the patients had symptomatic urolithiasis, diagnosed on the clinical elements, and confirmed in 77% by urinary computed tomography. The average age was 35.47 years ± 12, with a clear female predominance (64%). All the stones sat in the lower chalice. 66.5% of stones were larger than 10 mm. 75% of patients were “stones free” after one FUR-L session, and 100% after the second session. 10% of patients still had residual pain at 01 month which was absent at 03 month. 18% of postoperative urinary tract infections were treated with antibiotics. 90% of the patients had resumed an activity prior to 1 month. At 1 month and 3 months, 82% and 100% respectively were satisfied with the mode of treatment according to self-questioning. Conclusion: FUR-L remains a therapeutic modality for stones in the lower calicial group, for stones whose diameter is close to 30 mm. In November 2021,the Centre for International Research in Supplementary Tutoring(CIRIST),which operates under the umbrella of the Institute of curriculum and instruction(ICI)at East China Normal University(ECNU),hosted a major international *** theme was"Comparing curriculum and instruction Inside and Outside Schools:Policies and Practices."In China,outside-school instruction,and in particular private supplementary tutoring organized by commercial companies,was much in the public eye a result of its rapid growth during the previous three decades(Zhang&Bray,2021)and a July 2021 national-government policy aiming at sharp contraction of the sector(Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China,2021).The conference operated in hybrid offline and online *** attendance was still restricted by the pandemic,though 150 participants were still able to meet on the ECNU *** dramatically,the online provision attracted over 200,000 viewers of live and recorded *** addition,the event received extensive media coverage,through which core messages were delivered to over a million *** of this coverage was in Chinese,though some sessions and commentaries were in English.

We make use of the images from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Stripe 82（Stripe 82） to present an analysis of r band surface brightness profiles and radial color gradients（g-r,u-r） in our sample of 111 nearby early-type galaxies（ETGs） .Thanks to the Stripe 82 images,each of which is co-added from about 50 single frames,we are able to pay special attention to the low-surface-brightness areas（LSB areas） of the *** LSB areas affect the Sérsic fittings and concentration indices by making both of the indices less than the typical values for *** the Sérsic fits to all the surface brightness profiles,we found some Sérsic indices that range from 1.5 to 2.5,much smaller than those of typical de Vaucouleur profiles and relatively close to those of exponential disks,and some others much larger than four but still with accurate *** galaxies cannot be fitted with a single Sérsic profile,but once we try double Sérsic profiles,the fittings are improved：one with a profile relatively close to the de Vaucouleur law in the inner area and a profile relatively close to an exponential law in the LSB area,the other with a nice fitting in the inner area but still having a failed fitting in the outer *** 60%of the sample has negative color gradients（red-core） within 1.5Re,much more than the approximately 10%positive ones（blue-core） within the same ***,taking into account the LSB areas,we find that the color gradients are not necessarily monotonic：about one third of the red-core（or blue-core） galaxies have positive（or negative） color gradients in the outer areas. So LSB areas not only make ETGs’Sérsic profiles deviate from de Vaucouleur ones and shift to the disk end,but also reveal that quite a number of ETGs have opposite color gradients in inner and outer *** outcomes remind us of the necessity of double-Sérsic *** LSB phenomena may be interpreted by mergers and thus have different metallicity in the outer *** parameters ar

Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) mediated by plant extracts has drawn many research interests due to its simple, cost-effective, and eco-friendly approach. However, the extracts derived from phytoestrogenic plants that produce high phenolic-based compounds exhibiting the estrogenic activity have not yet investigated. This work reported the comparison of ethanolic extracts derived from phytoestogenic Dendrolobium lanceolatum and non-phytoestrogenic Raphanus sativus to facilitate the green synthesis of AgNPs. The total phenolic content and the reducing activity of D. lanceolatum extract were significantly higher than those of R. sativus extract. In addition, the formation of AgNPs could detect in the reaction using D. lanceolatum extract, but not R. sativus extract, as determined by the characteristic surface plasmon resonance peak of AgNPs at 416 nm. The synthesized AgNPs were spherical with an average diameter of 74.6017.11 nm, which their face-centered cubic structure of silver was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Moreover, the synthesized AgNPs exhibited the antibacterial activity against both Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus. The results of this work, thus, suggested the potential uses of phytoestrogenic plants as a good source of reducing and stabilizing agents for the production of AgNPs and other metallic nanoparticles.

Objectives: To study reproductive health needs of Shanghai people, and to develop appropriate measures to meet their ***: Statistical analysis of 24 hours reproductive health hotline data 4,000 random sampled sex questions, comparing answers from differen t gender and different questions (sex questions vs other non-sex questions).Results: During the first 9 months a total of 44,216 calls wer e received by medical staff. The callers included various age groups (aged 12-7 8), different marital status, from Shanghai and outside. In total, the numbers o f men and women on hotline calls were almost same. The contents of the hotline c ounseling covered all aspects of reproductive health care; among them, the issue concerning male and female sex problems and prenatal and infant health care con stituted 26.5% and 34% respectively. Men asked questions about sex more frequent ly than women, whereas women asked questions more about baby care. Questions a bout sex problems were asked more often in the late evening until next early mor ning. Conclusions: Shanghai people showed higher needs in sexual heal th care, prenatal care and baby care. When they came across some related problem s or confusions, they would like to receive the professional instant counseling. Relevant health care programmes should be established in order to meet the fer tile-aged public's reproductive health needs.
