Accurate and reasonable prediction of industrial electricity consumption is of great significance for promoting regional green transformation and optimizing the energy ***,the regional power system is complicated and uncertain,affected by multiple factors including climate,population and *** paper incorporates structure expansion,parameter optimization and rolling mechanism into a system forecasting framework,and designs a novel rolling and fractional-ordered grey system model to forecast the industrial electricity consumption,improving the accuracy of the traditional grey *** optimal fractional order is obtained by using the particle swarm optimization algorithm,which enhances the model ***,the proposed model is employed to forecast and analyze the changing trend of industrial electricity consumption in Fujian *** results show that industrial electricity consumption in Fujian will maintain an upward growth and it is expected to 186.312 billion kWh in *** with other seven benchmark prediction models,the proposed grey system model performs best in terms of both simulation and prediction performance metrics,providing scientific reference for regional energy planning and electricity market operation.

Digital Revolution and Job Quality of Lower Class Workers: Quasi-experimental Evidence from the Broadband China Program

This study examines the impact of the digital revolution on the job quality of workers with a specific focus on those at the lowest end of the spectrum in China's domestic labor market. Leveraging exogenous timing variations that result from the implementation of the Broadband China Program across different cities, it provides quasi-experimental evidence concerning the effects of the digital revolution on the job quality of lower class workers, particularly rural–urban migrant workers. Using data from China Migrants Dynamic Survey, this study reveals that migrants' comprehensive job quality index increased by 0.0138 (5.33 percent), and its component indices experienced positive effects after the Broadband China Program was implemented. This study also investigates heterogeneous policy treatment effects among workers with diverse demographic and occupational characteristics. Underlying mechanisms are considered, including positive macroeconomic shocks, increased social interactions, and Internet use. In particular, migrants' attitudes toward local settlement became more positive, suggesting that the positive effects of the digital revolution on livelihood lasted for some time. Taking China as an example, this study contributes valuable empirical evidence of how the digital revolution can affect lower class workers' employment or living conditions in a developing country. Related policy implications are also considered.

1 Introduction Under real-world haze conditions,the existence of haze particles in the atmosphere reduces the visibility of captured ***,the noise is inevitably introduced into the degraded image,which further deteriorates the visual quality of the *** enhance the visibility and quality of outdoor real-world hazy images,numerous algorithms have been proposed to remove haze from a single input *** existing methods are broadly lumped into two categories:prior-based methods[1,2]and learning-based methods[3–6].Unfortunately,the widely used atmospheric scattering model and the corresponding haze removal methods fail to take the noise interference into account,which may result in poor visibility restoration performance.

Intercultural trust in global contexts plays a central role in helping people from different cultures to communicate comfortably,which is essential for *** to construct a framework that might foster international cooperation,and thus be helpful for coping with global emergencies,we relate a Western nomological approach to an Eastern systems approach to analyse intercultural trust in global *** cultural impacts on intercultural trust and the nomological framework of cultural differences,we propose an intercultural trust model to interpret how cultural differences influence trust.A qualitative study of Chinese-Irish interactions was conducted to interpret this *** organized 10 seminars on intercultural trust,and interviewed 16 people to further explore the respondents'deeper feelings and experiences about intercultural trust in global *** this study,we have identified factors impacting on intercultural trust,and found that intercultural trust can be developed and improved in various *** llustrate these ways,we have provided tactics and methods for building intercultural trust in global *** are highlighted for organizations to avoid cultural clashes and relevant political or economic risks.

Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain *** plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and *** study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in *** a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED *** addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic *** study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED *** RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED *** conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.

In this study,we investigated the effects of major royal jelly proteins(MRJPs)on the estrogen,gut microbiota,and immunological responses in *** given 250 or 500 mg/kg,not 125 mg/kg of MRJPs,enhanced the proliferation of splenocytes in response to *** splenocytes and mesenteric lymphocytes activated by T-cell mitogens(Con A and anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies)released high levels of IL-2 but low levels of IFN-γand *** release of IL-4 was unaffected by ***,splenocytes and mesenteric lymphocytes activated by LPS were prevented by MRJPs at the same dose as that required for producing IL-1βand IL-6,two pro-inflammatory *** production of IL-1β,IL-6,and IFN-γwas negatively associated with estrogen levels,which were higher in the MRJP-treated animals than in the control *** of the gut microbiota revealed that feeding mice 250 mg/kg of MRJPs maintained the stability of the natural intestinal microflora of ***,the LEf Se analysis identified biomarkers in the MRJP-treated mice,including Prevotella,Bacillales,Enterobacteriales,Gammaproteobacteria,Candidatus_Arthromitus,and *** results showed that MRJPs are important components of royal jelly that modulate host immunity and hormone levels and help maintain gut microbiota stability.

Developing a localized and consistent model framework for climate loss and damage assessment is crucial for the policy-making of climate change mitigation and *** study introduces a comprehensive,multidisciplinary Integrated Assessment Model(IAM)framework for evaluating climate damage in China,utilizing BCC-SESM climate model and FUND sectoral climate damage model under the SSP2-RCPs *** a bottom-up approach,the research estimates climate damage across eight major sectors,recalibrates sectoral climate damage functions and parameters for China,and elucidates distinctions among direct climate loss,market climate loss,and aggregate climate *** findings reveal that the total climate damage function for China follows a quadratic pattern in response to temperature *** 2050,the estimated climate damage is projected to be 5.4%,5.7%,and 8.2%of GDP under RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5,***,both direct and market climate losses are projected to remain below 2%of GDP by 2050,while the aggregate climate loss could reach as high as 8.2%,which is predominantly attributed to non-market *** a sectoral perspective,under the RCP8.5 scenario,human health damage constitutes the largest share(61.9%)of the total climate loss by 2050,followed by sea-level rise damage(18.6%).This study sheds lights on the adaptation policy that should attach importance to the non-market sectors,particularly focusing on human health and sea-level rise.

Thermomorphogenesis and the heat shock(HS)response are distinct thermal responses in plants that are regulated by PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)and HEAT SHOCK FACTOR A1s(HSFA1s),*** is known about whether these responses are interconnected and whether they are activated by similar *** analysis of transcriptome dynamics in response to warm temperature(28℃)treatment revealed that 30 min of exposure activated the expression of a subset of HSFA1 target genes in Arabidopsis ***,a loss-of-function HSFA1 quadruple mutant(hsfa1-cq)was insensitive to warm temperature-induced hypocotyl *** hsfa1-cq plants grown at 28℃,the protein and transcript levels of PIF4 were greatly reduced,and the circadian rhythm of many thermomorphogenesis-related genes(including PIF4)was ***,the nuclear localization of HSFA1s and the binding of HSFA1d to the PIF4 promoter increased following warm temperature exposure,whereas PIF4 overexpression in hsfa1-cq partially rescued the altered warm temperature-induced hypocotyl growth of the *** together,these results suggest that HSFA1s are required for PIF4 accumulation at a warm temperature,and they establish a central role for HSFA1s in regulating both thermomorphogenesis and HS responses in Arabidopsis.
