The development of globalization has promoted different regions to be closely linked and the boundaries between different cultural cycles to be gradually broken,so that the communication and integration between different cultures emerge. In cross-cultural communication,cultural empathy is not only a problem and necessarily implemented strategy,but also plays an important role,so people must improve their own cultural sensitivity,set up the awareness in cultural empathy on the basis of recognizing cultural diversity and equality,break the thinking inertia in the local culture and increase the consciousness in cognizing cultural empathy,put aside the idea of cultural centralism and strengthen the cultural inclusivity,and widely understand the basic cultures of other countries and reduce cultural empathy.

This article takes its cue from the English critic, novelist and painter John Berger. He argues that what we know determines what we see. Hotels and railway stations, though they differ in size, design and appearance, are places of temporary national and international congress that are recognized by everyone. They become visible or even iconic once their history or their role is turned into at least part of a wider narrative in literature, film or in other arts. This provides a representative focus by which we may read a city＇s or a nation＇s past. In exemplifying such connections I focus first on the long-term history of Friedrichstraβe station and some of the surrounding hotels in the context of the history of Berlin, situating them within the national and, by implication, also the international context. Secondly, I will consider the outbreak of the First World War in 1914 as an event in which the role of railway stations generated both personal and collective memories across cultures and over several decades.

在全球化背景下,通过翻译规划助力中国"文化走出去",引起学界广泛关注。然而由于现有研究较为零散,中国翻译规划缺乏相应的理论指导,实践上亦难以在"中国文化走出去"的国家战略中起到切实的作用。基于此,本文在简要介绍翻译规划和中国文化关系之后,系统分析面向"中国文化走出去"的翻译规划及主要议题,提出由四个层级的参与主体、四个议题领域及若干任务领域构成的分析框架,并指出面向"中国文化走出去"翻译规划的基本原则。

Vegetarian is a kind of dietary mode, mainly including plant foods. The vegetarian diet has gradually become a core cultural phenomenon that is deeply rooted in China and the West, which is also closely related to many other factors, especially *** vegetarianism in Taoism originates from the pursuit of the unity of man and *** Buddhist, it is profoundly influenced by karma, cleat＂ discipline rules, and six major parts of its reincarnation. While in Christianity, it is affected by the idea of ＂the equality of all creatures＂ and holds the view that everything is created by God, and belongs to God. This paper first discusses the religious beliefs and doctrines of various religions, and then studies their causes and impact on modern society. The aim of this paper is to call on people＇s reverence for life, respect for the natural environment, and the creation of harmonious relationship between man and nature, as well as human beings themselves.

Chinese idioms,like English proverbs,are a language form,with a certain philosophical motive and ideological basis,given meaning through people's lifelong *** the ages,a wide range of beliefs,customs and natural scenery have been condensed into text forms in both Chinese idioms and English proverbs that display certain aspects of the essence of the two *** paper focuses on the study of animal images in idioms,and elaborates on the different interpretations of specific images caused by the differences in history,regions,customs,and values of the two *** purpose of this research is to provide a breakthrough more relevant to students who devote themselves to the study and research of Chinese and English languages and culture from the perspective of cultural contrast and analysis,so as to make a more thorough understanding of differences between Chinese and Western customs,culture and ***,language translations and cultural communications can be improved through a more accurate understanding of the Chinese and Western cultures.

Chinese business education differs from British business education in many *** the whole,it focuses on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge,whereas British business education places far more emphasis on soft management skills and *** paper examines a split-site business degree program offered by a Chinese international school and a British business school,and explores the attitudes and expectations of the Chinese participants and their Chinese and British lecturers from an“English for specific purposes”*** study conducted classroom observation,semi-structured interviews,and a questionaire survey,and identifies areas of difficulty for Chinese business students in the UK,in particular regarding their beliefs about teacher and student roles,their learning priorities and learning strategies,and their“goal-oriented”approach to discussion,which is at odds with the more collaborative and exploratory Western discussion *** findings have implications for pre-sessional and in-sessional English course design,the management of split-site business degree programs,the teaching of Chinese students,and the enhancement of learning experiences generally in international business programs.
