AIM: Chronic heart failure( CHF),caused by ischemic cardiomyopathy( ICM) and nonischemic cardiomyopathy( NICM),is among the leading causes of mortality and morbidity worldwide. Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6( LRP6) plays a critical role in regulating Wnt signaling. Dysregulated Wnt signaling contributes to high incidence of arrhythmias. Thus,there might be an association between genetic variations of LRP6 and sudden cardiac death( SCD). The objective of the study was to examine the association between common variants of LRP6 and prognosis of CHF patients. METHODS: From July 2005 to December 2009,patients with CHF referred from 10 hospitals and participants without structural heart disease in China were undergone a prospective study. The single-nucleotide polymorphism rs2302684 was selected to evaluate the effect of LRP6 polymorphisms on the survival of the patients. RESULTS: A total of 1 887 patients(1 437 with CHF and 450 in the control group) were finally enrolled for the analysis. During a median follow-up of 61 months,a total of 546(38. 00%) patients died,including 201(36. 81%) cases with SCD and 345(63. 19%) cases with NSCD. No end point event occurred in the control group. While cardiometabolic diseases has risen worldwide, meal skipping and snacking behavior has been suggested as factors that could lead to weight gain and adverse cardiometabolic outcomes. Meal skipping and snacking are eating behaviors mostly studied in the United States and some other western countries. China s eating behaviors have undergone dramatic changes in the past two decades. However, few studies have presented the secular trend of eating behaviors in Chinese population. This study aims to investigate the secular trend in the prevalence of breakfast skipping(BS), lunch skipping(LS), dinner skipping(DS), and prevalence of morning snacking(MSn), afternoon snacking(ASn), and evening snacking(ESn) using a Chinese cohort population, and to determine the differences between genders, age groups, and geographical regions. Methods Longitudinal data from 10 waves of the China Health and Nutrition Survey(CHNS 1991-2018) were used. A total of 20976 participants aged over 18 yearsold who visited at least 2 times from wave 1991 to 2018 with complete dietary data and anthropometric information were included. Dietary assessment was based on 3-24 h recall. BS, LS, and DS were defined as no energy consumed at breakfast, lunch, dinner in all the 3 interview days. MSn, ASn, and ESn were defined as >0 kcal energy consumed in the morning snack, afternoon snack, and evening snack occasion during the3 interview days. Generalized linear mixed model for repeated measures was applied. BS, LS, DS, MSn, ASn, and ESn were considered as the dependent variable(binary outcome) in separate models, and wave(continuously in years) was the principal independent variable. Age group, gender, educational level, region, total physical activity, smoking, alcohol drinking, income level, community urbanicity index, chronic disease history, total energy intake, and BMI were included as covariates. In recent years, the work of quality supervision and production safety of aquatic products in Nanjing City has been carried out rapidly, and the system of "origin exit, market access, sign traceability, real-time monitoring" has been basically formed, initially realizing the whole-process monitoring on the quality safety of aquatic products from "pond to table". We take the current situation of quality supervision and production safety of aquatic products in Nanjing City as the study object, take the basic work of supervision on aquatic products in Nanjing City and advancing both in scope and in depth as breakthrough point, to sum up the results achieved in the work of quality supervision and production safety of aquatic products in Nanjing City in recent years; make initial exploration and research, in order to consolidate the existing achievements, and further enhance the level of supervision on quality safety of aquatic products in Nanjing City.
