Cancer remains a highly lethal disease in the ***,either conventional cancer therapies or modern immunotherapies are non-tumor-targeted therapeutic approaches that cannot accurately distinguish malignant cells from healthy ones,giving rise to multiple undesired side *** advances in nanotechnology,accompanied by our growing understanding of cancer biology and nano-bio interactions,have led to the development of a series of nanocarriers,which aim to improve the therapeutic efficacy while reducing off-target toxicity of the encapsulated anticancer agents through tumor tissue-,cell-,or organelle-specific ***,the vast majority of nanocarriers do not possess hierarchical targeting capability,and their therapeutic indices are often compromised by either poor tumor accumulation,inefficient cellular internalization,or inaccurate subcellular *** Review outlines current and prospective strategies in the design of tumor tissue-,cell-,and organelle-targeted cancer nanomedicines,and highlights the latest progress in hierarchical targeting technologies that can dynamically integrate these three different stages of static tumor targeting to maximize therapeutic ***,we briefly discuss the current challenges and future opportunities for the clinical translation of cancer nanomedicines.

Cloud economy and its relationship with China’s economy—a capital market-based approach

Through the lens of the stock market,we examine whether and how the cloud economy affects China’s *** review the literature on cloud computing and related concepts and propose a definition of the cloud *** on this new definition,we create a China Cloud Economy Index(CCEI)and its *** stock market data from 2012 to 2020,we analyze the basic characteristics of these indices,their validity,and their relationship with the overall stock *** robustness of the new index is also *** find that the relationship between the CCEI and the stock market had been getting stronger but weakened somewhat after January 11,2019 plausibly because of the availability of recent cloud-related policies that have widened the gap between the market performance of CCEI and that of the stock market.

New Age Indicators for Stellar Populations

We apply the method of principal component analysis to a sample of simple stellar populations to select some age sensitive spectral indices. Besides the well-known age sensitive index Hβ, we also find some new age sensitive indices, G4300 and Fe4383, C_(2)4668, and Mgb. In addition, we find that these spectral indices sensitive to age depend on the metallicity of stellar population, Hβ and G4300 are more suitable to determine the age of loy metallicity stellar population, while C_(2)4668 and Mgb are more suitable to the high metallicity stellar population.

Interaction of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride with sodium dodecyl sulfate in aqueous/electrolytes solution at different temperatures and compositions

Interactions of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CPFH)with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)were investigated by conductivity measurement in H2O/electrolyte solutions(NaCl,Na2SO4&Na3PO4)over 298.15–318.15 K temperature range(with 5 K interval)considering the human body *** all cases,two critical micelle concentrations(c*)were observed which are increased in the presence of drug and decreased in the presence of salts enunciating the presence of interaction amongst the studied ***(CPFH+SDS)system in the presence of salt,the c*values at 303.15 K and I=0.50 mmol·kg^-1 followed the order:CNaCl>CNa2SO4>***ΔG1,m0 andΔG2,m0values are found to be negative for all systems that show that the micellization process is thermodynamically ***(CPFH+SDS)system in water,theΔHm0&ΔSm0 values reveal that the micellization processes is both entropy dominated in almost all *** the occurrence of electrolytes,ΔHm0 andΔSm0 values indicate that micellization processes are both entropy&enthalpy restricted at upper temperature but it becomes totally entropy dependent at higher *** higher positiveΔSm0 values indicate the enhanced hydrophobic interaction in presence of *** enthalpy-entropy compensation was determined from the linear relationship betweenΔHm0 andΔSm0 values in every *** transfer energies as well as compensation temperature and intrinsic enthalpy were also evaluated and the behaviors were comparable to other biological system.

Global sensitivity analysis of certain and uncertain factors for a circular tunnel under seismic action

There are many certain and uncertain design factors which have unrevealed rational effects on the generation of tensile damage and the stability of the circular tunnels during seismic *** this research paper,we have dedicated three certain and four uncertain design factors to quantify their rational effects using numerical simulations and the Sobol's sensitivity *** effects and interaction effects between the design factors have been determined supporting on variance-based global sensitivity *** results detected that the concrete modulus of elasticity for the tunnel lining has the greatest effect on the tensile damage generation in the tunnel lining during the seismic *** the other direction,the interactions between the concrete density and both of concrete modulus of elasticity and tunnel diameter have appreciable effects on the tensile ***,the tunnel diameter has the deciding effect on the stability of the tunnel *** the interaction between the tunnel diameter and concrete density has appreciable effect on the stability *** is worthy to mention that SoboFs sensitivity indices manifested strong efficiency in detecting the roles of each design factor in cooperation with the numerical simulations explaining the responses of the circular tunnel during seismic actions.

Uncertainty quantification of stability and damage detection parameters of coupled hydrodynamic-ground motion in concrete gravity dams

In this paper, models of the global system of the Koyna dam have been created using ABAQUS software considering the dam-reservoir-fbundation interaction. Non coupled models and the coupled models were compared regarding the horizontal displacement of the dam crest and the differential settlement of the dam base in clay foundation. Meta models were constructed and uncertainty quantification process was adopted by the support of Sobol's sensitivity in dices considering five un certain parameters by exploiting Box-Behnken experimental method. The non coupled models results determined overestimated predicted stability and damage detection in the dam. The rational effects of the reservoir height were very sensitive in the variation of the horizontal displacement of the dam crest with a small interaction effect with the beta viscous damping coefficient of the clay fbundation. The modulus of elasticity of the clay foundation was the decisive parameter regarding the variation of the differential settlement of the dam base. The XFEM approach has been used for damage detection in relation with both minimum and maximum values of each uncertain parameter. Finally the effects of clay and rock foundations were determined regarding the resistance against the propagation of cracks in the dam, where the rock fbundation was the best.

Development and application of the multi-wavelength cavity ring-down aerosol extinction spectrometer

To better characterize the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols, the multi-wavelength cavity ring-down aerosol extinction spectrometer(MCRD-AES) is developed and applied in this study. By using tunable light source and four parallel cavities, the MCRD-AES covers a wide and atmospherically relevant wavelength range from 360 to 663 nm. Four wavelengths(375 nm, 440 nm, 532 nm, and 620 nm) are particularly tested with ammonium sulfate and nigrosine. The refractive index values obtained from this study agree well with literature data. The stability and accuracy of the MCRD-AES are tested, and the minimum detectable extinction coefficient is 0.5 1/Mm. The high sensitivity, high precision, and wavelength changeable of MCRD-AES indicate its great application prospect in comprehensively quantifying the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols.

Universal Behaviour on the Break-up of the Spiral Mean Torus

We study numerically the critical behaviour during the break-up of the spiral mean torus in a four-dimensional symplectic map. At each point of the parameter space, the stability indices of a serial of periodic orbits are calculated with their winding numbers approaching the spiral mean torus. The critical values of the parameters when the torus breaks are determined by the criterion that the variance of the distribution on the indices reaches a minimum. Some evidence is revealed about the possible existence of a universal distribution on the stability indices of the periodic orbits at the critical This confirms the picture given by the approximate renormalization theory of the Hamiltonian systems with three degrees of freedom.

Investigation on optical and photoluminescence properties of organic semiconductor Al-Alq3 thin films for organic light-emitting diodes application

The optical constants,photoluminescence properties,and resistivity of Al-Alq3 thin films prepared by the thermal co-evaporation method on a silicon substrate are studied with various Al fractions.A variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry is employed to determine the optical constants in the wavelength from 300 to 1200 nm at incidence angles of 65°,70°,and 75°,*** the refractive indices and extinction coefficient apparently increase with increasing Al *** intensity of photoluminescence spectra gradually increases with decreasing Al fractions due to intrinsic energy level transition of Alq3 organic semiconductor in the ultraviolet wave *** resistivity decreases from 42.1 to 3.36 Ω·cm with increasing Al fraction from 40% to 70%,resulting in a larger emission intensity in photoluminescence spectra for the 40% Al fraction sample.
