Inetetamab combined with tegafur as second-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive gastric cancer: A case report

BACKGROUND Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER-2)plays a vital role in tumor cell proliferation and ***,the prognosis of HER2-positive gastric cancer is ***,a novel anti-HER2 targeting drug independently developed in China,exhibits more potent antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity than trastuzumab,which is administered as the first-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer in combination with *** this case,the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with tegafur was investigated as a second-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric *** SUMMARY A 52-year-old male patient with HER2-positive gastric cancer presented with abdominal distension,poor appetite,and fatigue two years after receiving six cycles of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur as first-line treatment after surgery,followed by tegafur monotherapy for six *** patient was diagnosed with postoperative recurrence of gastric *** received 17 cycles of a combination of inetetamab,an innovative domestically developed anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody,and tegafur chemotherapy as the second-line treatment(inetetamab 200 mg on day 1,every 3 wk combined with tegafur twice daily on days 1–14,every 3 wk).Evaluation of the efficacy of the second-line treatment revealed that the patient achieved a stable condition and progression-free survival of 17 *** tolerated the treatment well without exhibiting any grade 3-4 adverse *** Inetetamab combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive gastric cancer demonstrates significant survival benefits and acceptable safety.

Polyethylenimine-cyclodextrin-tegafur(PEI-CyD-tegafur) conjugate was synthesized as a novel multifunctional prodrug of tegafur for co-delivery of chemotherapeutic agent tegafur and enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP) reporter plasmid *** of tegafur to PEI-CyD via chemical linkage was characterized by 1 H NMR spectrometry and ultraviolet(UV) ***-CyD-tegafur was able to condense plasmid DNA into complexes of around 150 nm with positive charge at the N/P ratio of 25,in accordance with electron microscopy observation of compact and monodisperse *** results of in vitro experiments showed enhanced cytotoxicity and considerable transfection efficiency in B16F10 cell ***,PEI-CyD-tegafur may have great potential as a co-delivery system with anti-cancer activity and potential for gene delivery.

A series of novel phosphoramide-tegafur derivatives containing γ-aminopropyl sila- trane were synthesized via the condensation reactions of phosphoryl dichloride with N1-(2-furanidyl)-N3-(hydroxyethyl)-5-fluorouracil, followed by condensation with γ-aminopropyl silatrane. The structures of the products were confirmed by 1HNMR, 31P NMR, IR, MS, and elemental analysis. The results of preliminary bioassay showed that the new compounds had an inhibition effect against HCT-8 and Bel- 7402 cell lines.

Clinical Analysis of Gemcitabine Combined with tegafur Chemotherapy after Radical Surgery on Pancreatic Cancer

Objective:To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of gemcitabine combined with tegafur chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic ***:The subjects of the study were 200 patients who were admitted to the hospital from January 2018 to February 2021 requiring chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic *** to the different treatment methods,they were divided into a experimental group(gemcitabine combined with tegafur chemotherapy)and a control group(single gemcitabine chemotherapy),and the treatment efficacy of the two groups of patients was observed and ***:Compared with the control group,patients in the experimental group had significantly better treatment efficacy,quality of life scores and post-treatment anxiety and depression *** difference between the groups was significant(ptegafur chemotherapy for patients requiring chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic cancer can significantly improve the treatment efficacy for the disease,improve the patient's quality of life,and ensure that the patient's emotional state during treatment is more positive.

Design,synthesis and preliminary bio-evaluation of glucose-cholesterol derivatives as ligands for brain targeting liposomes

A series of glucose-cholesterol derivatives 8a-8e as ligands for brain targeting liposomes were synthesized. The preparation of compound 6 involved temporary protection of glucose with chlorotrimethylsilicane and hexamethyldisilazane followed by selectively hydrolyzed. The known cholesteryl tosylate 1 were coupled to ethylene glycols to afford alcohol 2a-2e. Substitution and deprotection of alcohol 2a-2e furnished the acids 4a-4e, which was condensed with compound 6 to get compounds 7a-7e, and then was deprotected in tetrahydrofuran with TFA to obtain the title compounds. As a model drug, tegafur was entrapped by liposomes coupled with 8b, and preliminary in vivo evaluation shown 8b could enhance the ability of liposomes delivering tegafur across the blood brain barrier.

Efficacy and safety of anlotinib plus S-1as thirdly-line or later-line treatmentin advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Objective Anlotinib,an oral vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2)inhibitor,has confirmed antitumor activity in lung cancer in both in vitro and in vivo assays,and has been recommended as third-line treatment agent in non-oncogene driven non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).This prospective study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of anlotinib plus S-1 for third-or later-line treatment in patients with advanced *** Patients with histologically or cytologically confirmed NSCLC,and documented disease progression following second-line chemotherapy,and/or epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitor(EGFR-TKI)treatment were enrolled in this *** patients were treated anlotinib(8 mg daily d 1–14)and S-1(60 mg/m^2 d 1–14)and the treatment was repeated every 3 *** was continued until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity *** objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS),and adverse events(AEs)were reviewed and *** Forty-one patients were enrolled in the study between June 2018 and December *** total ORR and DCR were 26.8%and 80.5%,*** median PFS was 5.2 months[95%confidence interval(CI),3.9 to 6.6 months].In the univariate analysis,there was a significant difference in the median PFS between patients with brain metastases and those without brain metastases(4.8 months vs 5.9 months,respectively;P=0.039).The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)performance status(P=0.002),lines of therapy(P=0.015),and therapeutic evaluation(P=0.014)were independent factors that influenced *** most common AEs were hypertension,proteinuria,myelosuppression,gastrointestinal reactions,fatigue,and *** Anlotinib plus S-1 is an effective and safe regimen for advanced NSCLC as third-or later-line therapy.
