Creation of a partially filled intermediate band in a photovoltaic absorber material is an appealing concept for increasing the quantum efficiency of solar ***,we showed that formation of a partially filled intermediate band through doping a host semiconductor with a transition metal dopant is hindered by the strongly correlated nature of d-electrons and the antecedent Jahn–Teller distortion,as we have previously *** present work,we take a step forward and study the delocalization of a filled(valence-like)intermediate band throughout the lattice:a case study of Ti-and Nb-doped In_(2)S_(3).By means of hybrid density functional calculations,we present extensive analysis on structural properties and interactions leading to electronic characteristics of Ti-and Nb-doped In_(2)S_(3).

The electrochemical reaction mechanism of Vitamin B2 on platinum electrode in acid aqueous solution has been studied by then layer cyclic voltammetry(TLCV) and thin layer spectroelectrochemistry (TLSEC).The results indicate that there is a redox process of VB2 via a semiquinone radical to dihydroflavin. The radical intermediate has been detected by in-situ UVSEC method for the first time.

Summary of main observation and conclusion A general and efficient protocol to synthesize substituted olefins from carbonyl compounds via nickel catalyzed C-O activation of enolates was *** ketones,aldehydes were also suitable substrates for the presented catalytic system to produce di-or tri-substituted *** is worth noting that this approach exhibited good tolerance to highly reactive tertiary alcohols,which could not survive in other reported routes for converting carbonyl compounds to *** method also showed good regio-and stereo-selectivity for olefin *** mechanistic studies indicated that the reaction was accomplished through nickel catalyzed C-O activation of enolates,thus offering helpful contribution to current enol chemistry.

A delicate intermediate filament-like network of mesophyll cells was observed both in maize and tobacco, using selective extraction together with whole-mount cell preparation for electron microscopy. The filament of the network is about 10 nm in diameter. Further test using immuno-gold labeling with anti-keratin antibodies indicated that the component of the intermediate filament-like system was keratin-like protein. Such a keratin-like intermediate filament system existing in plant cells was demonstrated for the first time. Meanwhile, 3-nm size filaments and their connection with 10-nm filaments were also shown in maize and tobacco protoplasts.
