Rheumatoid arthritis(RA),the most common inflammatory arthropathy word wild,is a systemic autoimmune disease that mainly affects the synovium of joints with a high disability *** misregulation has emerged as a fundamental pathogenesis of RA linked to immune cell dysfunction,while targeting immunometabolism provides a new and effective approach to regulate the immune responses and thus alleviate the symptom of ***,natural active compounds from traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs)have potential therapeutic effects on RA and regulating *** this review,in addition to updating the connection between cellular metabolism and cell function in immune cells of RA,we summarized that the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of the potential natural compounds from TCM by targeting metabolic reprogramming of immune cells,and discusses them as a rich resource for providing the new potential paradigm for the treatment of RA.

Acutely,pain serves to protect us from potentially harmful stimuli,however damage to the somatosensory system can cause maladaptive changes in neurons leading to chronic *** acute pain is fairly well controlled,chronic pain remains difficult to *** pain is primarily a neuropathic condition,but studies examining the mechanisms underlying chronic pain are now looking beyond afferent nerve lesions and exploring new receptor targets,immune cells,and the role of the autonomic nervous system in contributing chronic pain *** studies outlined in this review reveal how chronic pain is not only confined to alterations in the nervous system and presents findings on new treatment targets and for this debilitating disease.

COVID-19 is now rapidly spreading *** the majority of COVID-19 patients show only mild or moderate symptoms,some could deteriorate quickly and may succumb to a sudden *** is therefore important to identify who will be more likely to develop severe outcomes and be treated with particular or preventive *** in this literature survey,we collected epidemiologic and clinical data from 36 articles on 51,270 patients with different severity of COVID-19,aiming to characterize the population that are prone to severe condition and bad *** data reveal that old males and those with high BMI or underlying diseases,especially cardiovascular disease,hypertension and diabetes,are overrepresented among severe *** leukocyte and lymphopenia are common features in severe and critical *** deterioration of the disease,both CD4^(+) and CD8^(+)T cells are decreased,while almost all serum cytokines,especially pro-inflammatory cytokines,increased.

Background:Artificial intelligence(AI)technology represented by deep learning has made remarkable achievements in digital pathology,enhancing the accuracy and reliability of diagnosis and prognosis *** spatial distribution of CD3^(+)and CD8^(+)T cells within the tumor microenvironment has been demonstrated to have a significant impact on the prognosis of colorectal cancer(CRC).This study aimed to investigate CD3_(CT)(CD3^(+)T cells density in the core of the tumor[CT])prognostic ability in patients with CRC by using AI ***:The study involved the enrollment of 492 patients from two distinct medical centers,with 358 patients assigned to the training cohort and an additional 134 patients allocated to the validation *** facilitate tissue segmentation and T-cells quantification in whole-slide images(WSIs),a fully automated workflow based on deep learning was *** the completion of tissue segmentation and subsequent cell segmentation,a comprehensive analysis was ***:The evaluation of various positive T cell densities revealed comparable discriminatory ability between CD3_(CT) and CD3-CD8(the combination of CD3^(+)and CD8^(+)T cells density within the CT and invasive margin)in predicting mortality(C-index in training cohort:0.65 vs.0.64;validation cohort:0.69 vs.0.69).The CD3_(CT) was confirmed as an independent prognostic factor,with high CD3_(CT) density associated with increased overall survival(OS)in the training cohort(hazard ratio[HR]=0.22,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.12–0.38,Pcells within tissue regions in WSIs using AI *** CD3_(CT) confirmed as a stage-independent predictor for OS in CRC ***,CD3_(CT) shows promise in simplifying the CD3-CD8 system and facilitating its practical application in clinical settings.
