AIM: To study the hypoglycemic effect of the Ganoderma lucidum Polysaccharide(GLP) on normal and multiple low dose streptozotocin (MLD-STZ)-induced hyperglycemic mice. Methods: (1)Fasted mice were administered intraperitoneally GLP at dose of 25, 50 and 100mg/kg body weight respectively. After a single dose of drug administration, blood samples were collected at 0 hr, 2 hr and 7 hr from the tail vein. The serum were separated and the glucose levels in the serum samples were measured. The polysaccharides in yam bulbils were extracted, and their antioxidant activity and hypoglycemic effect in diabetic mice were discussed. The results showed that the antioxidant activity of polysaccharides in yam bulbils was signifi- cantly enhanced with the increase of concentration; they showed a strong scaveng- ing ability against DPPH. and .OH, and the scavenging ability was dose dependent to some extent; the scavenging rates reached 91.15% and 89.06% respectively when the dose reached 4.0 mg/ml; the polysaccharides in yam bulbils significantly educed the blood glucose in model rice, and the hypoglycemic effect of large-dose polysaccharides was more obvious. The polysaccharides in yam bulbils has good antioxidant activity and hypoglycemic effect, which provides a new source for devel- opment of safe and natural food antioxidants and blood sugar-lowering agents.

Objective:To explore the effect of outpatient nursing interventions on the hypoglycemic treatment and psychological emotions of diabetic ***:148 patients who came to our hospital for outpatient treatment from February 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group,with 74 cases per group,according to the random number table *** control group received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group received outpatient nursing intervention based on the control *** two groups were observed for their effects of hypoglycemic treatment and psychological and emotional improvement before and after outpatient nursing ***:The health behavior scores of the control group were lower than that of the observation group;the post-intervention fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood glucose,anxiety self-rating scale(SAS),and the depression self-rating scale(SDS)of the control group were significantly higher than that of the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Outpatient nursing intervention encouraged patients to comply with healthy behaviors and helped control blood sugar ***’anxiety,depression,and other adverse psychological states were also improved hence the outpatient nursing intervention is worthy of further promotion.

Dark tea(containing Eurotium cristatum)and black tea have hypoglycemic *** black brick tea with fungal growth is obtained from black tea by adding ***,followed by steaming,pressing,fungal growth,and ***,the hypoglycemic effects of black brick tea are still ***,we used black brick tea with fungal growth and black tea as raw materials to study their hypoglycemic effects in a hyperglycemic mice *** these types of black tea could lower the content of blood glucose and increase the content of hepatic glycogen by upregulating the proteins and m RNA expression of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate3-kinase,glycogen synthase,protein kinase B and phosphoinositidedependent protein kinase-1 and downregulating the protein and m RNA expression of glycogen synthase kinase 3β.These regulatory steps were followed by high activities of glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase and low content of *** teas can promote blood glucose transport and absorption by upregulating the protein and m RNA expression of insulin receptor substrate-1 and glucose transporter-2 and stimulate glycolysis by upregulating the protein and m RNA expression of 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase *** study suggests that the black brick tea was more effective than the black tea in terms of hypoglycemic.

Injection therapy for diabetes has poor patient compliance,and the pain occurring at the site of subcutaneous injections causes significant inconvenience to diabetic *** this work,to demonstrate the benefits of an alternative drug delivery technique that overcomes these issues,methacrylated gelatin hydrogel-forming microneedles integrated with metformin were developed to adjust blood glucose levels in diabetic *** methacryloyl microneedles(GelMA-MNs)with different degrees of substitution were successfully prepared by a micro-molding *** resultant GelMA-MNs exhibited excellent mechanical properties and moisture ***,an anti-diabetic drug,was further encapsulated into the GelMA-MNs,and its release rate could be controlled by the three-dimensional cross-linked network of microneedles,thereby exhibiting sustained drug release behaviors in vitro and implying a better therapeutic effect compared with that of subcutaneous injection in diabetic *** drug release period could be significantly prolonged by improving the cross-link density of *** results of hypoglycemic effect evaluation show that the application of GelMA-MNs for transdermal delivery in diabetic rats has promising benefits for diabetes treatment.

The fruit of Nitraria tangutorum,often known as“desert cherry”,has been proven to have hypoglycemic effect,but its chemical composition and hypoglycemic mechanism remain *** this study,phenylpropanoids in *** were rapidly and efficiently discovered by UPLC-MS guided *** multi-chromatographic separation and NMR identification,a total of fifteen phenylpropanoids were identified,which were mono-phenylpropanoids(1-3),phenylpropanoid glycosides(4-11),and di-phenylpropanoids(12-15),*** the compounds(1-15)were obtained from this species for the first *** order to verify the target of *** for its hypoglycemic effect,a target network of“phenylpropanoids-type 2 diabetes(T2DM)”was constructed by network pharmacology *** results showed that glycerol phos-phate dehydrogenase inhibitory experiment(GPDH,PDB:1WPQ)was the most likely hypoglycemic target of the ***,GPDH inhibitory experiment and molecular docking simulation were used to verify its *** results showed that phenylpropanoids had good inhibitory activities,especially di-phenylpropanoid compound *** same results also appeared in HFD induced T2DM model *** above studies demon-strated that phenylpropanoids,especially di-phenylpropanoids,were the chemical basis for the glucose regu-lating effects of ***,and its target may be GPDH,from in vitro,molecular simulation and in vivo *** study provided a basis for the development of *** fruit as a hypoglycemic functional food.
