BACKGROUND Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related *** diagnosis is critical to improving a patient’s chance of ***,lung cancer associated with cystic airspaces is often misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed due to the absence of clinical symptoms,poor imaging specificity,and high risk of biopsy-related *** SUMMARY We report an unusual case of cancer in a 55-year-old man,in which the lesion evolved from a small solitary thin-walled cyst to lung squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)with metastases in both *** SCC manifested as rare clustered cystic lesions,detected on chest computed *** were air-fluid levels,compartments,and bronchial arteries in the cystic ***,there was no clear extrathoracic *** chemotherapy,the patient achieved a partial response,type I respiratory failure was relieved,and the lung lesions became a clustered thin-walled *** Pulmonary cystic lesions require regular imaging *** SCC should be a diagnostic consideration in cases of thin-walled cysts as well as multiple clustered cystic lesions.

An increased level of reactive oxygen species is a key factor in neuronal apoptosis and epileptic *** reportedly attenuates the apoptosis and injury induced by oxidative ***,we evaluated the effects of exogenous irisin in a kainic acid(KA)-induced chronic spontaneous epilepsy rat *** results indicated that exogenous irisin significantly attenuated the KA-induced neuronal injury,learning and memory defects,and *** treatment also increased the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and uncoupling protein 2(UCP2),which were initially reduced following KA ***,the specific inhibitor of UCP2(genipin)was administered to evaluate the possible protective mechanism of *** reduced apoptosis,neurodegeneration,and spontaneous seizures in rats treated with irisin were significantly reversed by genipin *** findings indicated that neuronal injury in KA-induced chronic epilepsy might be related to reduced levels of BDNF and ***,our results confirmed the inhibition of neuronal injury and epileptic seizures by exogenous *** protective effects of irisin may be mediated through the BDNF-mediated UCP2 *** results thus highlight irisin as a valuable therapeutic strategy against neuronal injury and epileptic seizures.

Objective:To study the relevance of EGFR gene mutation with pathological features and prognosis in patients with non-small-cell lung ***:A total of 297 patients from July 2009 to May 2013 were chosen as *** gene mutation were detected with fluorescence quantitative *** of EGFR gene mutation with clinical and pathological features was analyzed,and the prognosis of EGFR- mutant-patients and that of EGFR- wide type-patients was ***:In 297 patients.136(45.79%) showed EGFR gene *** gene mutation had no significant relevance with ***,smoking history,family history of cancer and clinical stage(P>0.05);there was significant relevance between EGFR gene mutation and blood type,pathologic types,differentiation and diameter of cancer(P<0.05).The difference between prognosis of EGFR- mutant-patients and that of EGFR- wide type-patients was statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:EGFR gene mutation has significant relevance with pathological features,the prognosis of EGFRmutant-paticnts is better than that of EGFR- wide type-patients.

Effect of modified MgAl-LDH coating on corrosion resistance and friction properties of aluminum alloy

The in-situ growing approach was utilized in this article to construct the magnesium–aluminum layered double hydroxide(MgAl-LDH)film on the surface of a 1060 aluminum anodized *** improve the corrosion resistance and friction qualities of aluminum alloy,the MgAl-LDH coating was treated using stearic acid(SA)and thiourea(TU).The aluminum substrate and anodized aluminum film layer corroded to varying degrees after 24 h of immersion in 3.5%(mass)NaCl solution,while the modified hydrotalcite film layer continued to exhibit the same microscopic morphology even after being immersed for 7 *** results show that the synergistic action of thiourea and stearic acid can effectively improve the corrosion resistance of the MgAl-LDH *** tribological testing reveals that the hydrotalcite film layer and the modified film layer lowered the friction coefficient of the anodized aluminum surface *** results of the simulations and experiments demonstrate that SA forms the dense LDH-TU interlayer film layer by exchanging NO_(3)^(-)ions between TU layers on the one hand and the LDH-SA film layer by adsorption on the surface of LDH on the ***,these two processes create LDH-TUSA,which can significantly increase the substrate’s corrosion *** synergistically modified superhydrophobic and retardant hydrotalcite film layer offers a novel approach to the investigation of wear reduction and corrosion protection on the surface of aluminum and its alloys.

Ceria nanoparticles(CeO_(2) NPs)have become popular materials in biomedical and industrial fields due to their potential applications in anti-oxidation,cancer therapy,photocatalytic degradation of pollutants,sensors,*** methods,including gas phase,solid phase,liquid phase,and the newly proposed green synthesis method,have been reported for the synthesis of CeO_(2) *** to the wide application of CeO_(2) NPs,concerns about their adverse impacts on human health have been *** review covers recent studies on the biomedical applications of CeO_(2) NPs,including their use in the treatment of various diseases(e.g.,Alzheimer's disease,ischemic stroke,retinal damage,chronic inflammation,and cancer).CeO_(2) NP toxicity is discussed in terms of the different systems of the human body(e.g.,cytotoxicity,genotoxicity,respiratory toxicity,neurotoxicity,and hepatotoxicity).This comprehensive review covers both fundamental discoveries and exploratory progress in CeO_(2) NP research that may lead to practical developments in the future.

Cyclohexanol is a commonly used organic ***,the most promising industrial process for synthesizing cyclohexanol,by cyclohexene hydration,suffers from a low conversion rate and difficult *** this paper,a three-column process for catalytic distillation applicable in the hydration of cyclohexene to cyclohexanol was established to solve *** with Aspen Plus shows that the process has good advantages,the conversion of cyclohexene reached 99.3%,and the product purity was>99.2%.The stable operation of the distillation system requires a good control *** design of the control scheme is very ***,at present,the reactive distillation process for cyclohexene hydration is under investigation experimentally and by steady-state ***,three different plant-wide control schemes were established(CS1,CS2,CS3) and the position of temperature sensitive stage was selected by using sensitivity analysis method and singular value decomposition *** Tyreus-Luyben empirical tuning method was used to tune the controller ***,Aspen Dynamics simulation software was used to evaluate the performance of the three control *** introducing ΔF±20% and χ_(ENE)±5%,comparison the changes in product purity and yield of the three different control *** comparison,we can see that the control scheme CS3 has the best performance.

This paper investigates the prescribed-time state-feedback stabilization and prescribed-time inverse optimality problems for stochastic high-order nonlinear systems. First, a time-varying controller is designed by developing scaled quartic Lyapunov functions, which can guarantee that the system has a unique strong solution almost surely on the prescribed interval for any system initial conditions and that the states and the control converge to the origin in a mean-square form within the prescribed time. Then, the controller is redesigned to address the problem of prescribed-time inverse optimal mean-square stabilization. Finally,a concrete example is provided to confirm the efficiency of the proposed design schemes.
