Historical Changes and Multi-scenario Prediction of Land Use and Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Storage in china

Terrestrial carbon storage(CS)plays a crucial role in achieving carbon balance and mitigating global climate *** study employs the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways and Representative Concentration Pathways(SSPs-RCPs)published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)and incorporates the Policy Control Scenario(PCS)regulated by china’s land management *** Future Land Use Simulation(FLUS)model is employed to generate a 1 km resolution land use/cover change(LUCC)dataset for china in 2030 and *** on the carbon density dataset of china’s terrestrial ecosystems,the study analyses CS changes and their relationship with land use changes spanning from 1990 to *** findings indicate that the quantitative changes in land use in china from 1990 to 2020 are characterised by a reduction in the area proportion of cropland and grassland,along with an increase in the impervious surface and forest *** changing trend is projected to continue under the PCS from 2020 to *** the SSPs-RCPs scenario,the proportion of cropland and impervious surface predominantly increases,while the proportions of forest and grassland continuously *** loss in china’s carbon storage from 1990 to 2020 amounted to 0.53×10^(12)kg,primarily due to the reduced area of cropland and *** the SSPs-RCPs scenario,more significant carbon loss occurs,reaching a peak of8.07×10^(12)kg in the SSP4-RCP3.4 *** loss is mainly concentrated in the southeastern coastal area and the Beijing-TianjinHebei(BTH)region of china,with urbanisation and deforestation identified as the primary *** the future,it is advisable to enhance the protection of forests and grassland while stabilising cropland areas and improving the intensity of urban *** research findings offer valuable data support for china’s land management policy,land space optimisation,and the achievement of dual-carbon targets.

Simulation of urban expansion using geographical similarity transition rules and neighbourhood sizes

Most existing cellular automata(CA)models impose strict requirements on the number and spatial distribution of *** makes it a challenge to capture spatial heterogeneity in urban dynamics and meet the modeling needs of large and complex geographic *** paper presents a CA model based on geographically optimal similarity(GOS)transition rules and similarly sized neighborhoods(SSN).By comparing the similarity in geographical configuration between samples and predicted points,the model enables a comprehensive characterization of the driving mechanism behind urban expansion and its self-organizing *** helps to mitigate the impact of sample selection and assumptions about spatial stationarity on simulation *** performance of GOS-SSN-CA simulation was tested by taking the urban expansion in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration in china as an *** results show that GOS can derive more accurate and reliable urban transition rules with fewer samples,thereby significantly reducing spatial prediction errors compared with logistic ***,SSN selects different neighborhood sizes to represent the difference between the local self-organizing range and surrounding cells,thus further improving the simulation accuracy and restricting urban expansion ***,GOS-SSN-CA effectively characterizes the geographical similarity of urban expansion,improves simulation accuracy while constraining the urban expansion form,and enhances the practical application value of CA.

Quantum Fisher information(QFI)associated with local metrology has been used to parameter estimation in open quantum *** this work,we calculated the QFI for a moving Unruh-DeWitt detector coupled with massless scalar fields in n-dimensional spacetime,and analyzed the behavior of QFI with various parameters,such as the dimension of spacetime,evolution time,and Unruh *** discovered that the QFI of state parameter decreases monotonically from 1 to 0 over ***,we noted that the QFI for small evolution times is several orders of magnitude higher than the QFI for long evolution *** also found that the value of QFI decreases at first and then stabilizes as the Unruh temperature *** was observed that the QFI depends on initial state parameterθ,and Fθis the maximum forθ=0 orθ=π,Fφis the maximum forθ=π/*** also obtain that the maximum value of QFI for state parameters varies for different spacetime dimensions with the same evolution time.

A bacterial protein Rhp-PSP inhibits plant viral proliferation through endoribonuclease activity

Plant virus causes massive crop losses ***,there is currently no effective measure to control plant viral ***,we identify an antiviral protein Rhp-PSP,produced by the bacterial Rhodopseudomonas palustris strain *** this study,we discover that the antiviral activity of Rhp-PSP relies on its endoribonuclease *** the arginine(R)residue at position 129 onto alanine(A)abolishs its endoribonuclease activity on coat protein(CP)RNA of tobacco mosaic virus(TMV),consequentially,compromises the antiviral activity of *** investigation demonstrates that,the mutant Rhp-PSP^(R129A)is unable to form the homotrimer as the wild type,indicating the importance of quaternary junction for the endoribonuclease *** of Rhp-PSP in Nicotiana benthamiana significantly enhances the resistance against TMV of seedlings,while expression of Rhp-PSP^(R129A)did not,confirming that endoribonuclease activity is responsible for the antiviral activity of *** addition,foliar spray of Rhp-PSP solution on tomato and pepper plants significantly reduces the disease index of viral diseases,indicating that Rhp-PSP shows potential to develop antiviral agent in practice.

Integer multiple quantum image scaling based on NEQR and bicubic interpolation

As a branch of quantum image processing,quantum image scaling has been widely ***,most of the existing quantum image scaling algorithms are based on nearest-neighbor interpolation and bilinear interpolation,the quantum version of bicubic interpolation has not yet been *** this work,we present the first quantum image scaling scheme for bicubic interpolation based on the novel enhanced quantum representation(NEQR).Our scheme can realize synchronous enlargement and reduction of the image with the size of 2^(n)×2^(n) by integral ***,the image is represented by NEQR and the original image coordinates are obtained through multiple CNOT ***,16 neighborhood pixels are obtained by quantum operation circuits,and the corresponding weights of these pixels are calculated by quantum arithmetic ***,a quantum matrix operation,instead of a classical convolution operation,is used to realize the sum of convolution of these *** simulation experiments and complexity analysis,we demonstrate that our scheme achieves exponential speedup over the classical bicubic interpolation algorithm,and has better effect than the quantum version of bilinear interpolation.

Interacting topological magnons in a checkerboard ferromagnet

This work is devoted to studying the magnon-magnon interaction effect in a two-dimensional checkerboard ferromagnet with the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya *** a first-order Green function method,we analyze the influence of magnon-magnon interaction on the magnon band *** find that Chern numbers of two renormalized magnon bands are different above and below the critical temperature,which means that the magnon band gap-closing phenomenon is an indicator for one topological phase transition of the checkerboard *** results show that the checkerboard ferromagnet possesses two topological phases,and its topological phase can be controlled either via the temperature or the applied magnetic field due to magnon-magnon ***,it is found that the topological phase transition can occur twice with the increase in the temperature,which is different from the results of the honeycomb ferromagnet.

This paper considers the random coefficient autoregressive model with time-functional variance noises,hereafter the RCA-TFV *** first establish the consistency and asymptotic normality of the conditional least squares estimator for the constant *** semiparametric least squares estimator for the variance of the random coefficient and the nonparametric estimator for the variance function are constructed,and their asymptotic results are reported.A simulation study is presented along with an analysis of real data to assess the performance of our method in finite samples.
