Behavioral scoring based on clinical observations remains the gold standard for screening,diagnosing,and evaluating infantile epileptic spasm syndrome(IESS).The accurate identification of seizures is crucial for clinical diagnosis and *** this study,we propose an innovative seizure detection method based on video feature recognition of patient *** capture the temporal characteristics of the spasm behavior presented in the videos effectively,we incorporate asymmetric convolutions and convolution–batch normalization–ReLU(CBR)*** within the 3D-ResNet residual blocks,we split the larger convolutional kernels into two asymmetric 3D convolutional *** kernels are connected in series to enhance the ability of the convolutional layers to extract key local features,both horizontally and *** addition,we introduce a 3D convolutional block attention module to enhance the spatial correlations between video frame channels *** improve the generalization ability,we design a composite loss function that combines cross-entropy loss with triplet loss to balance the classification and similarity *** train and evaluate our method using the PLA IESS-VIDEO dataset,achieving an average seizure recognition accuracy of 90.59%,precision of 90.94%,and recall of 87.64%.To validate its generalization capability further,we conducted external validation using six different patient monitoring videos compared with assessments by six human experts from various medical *** final test results demonstrate that our method achieved a recall of 0.6476,surpassing the average level achieved by human experts(0.5595),while attaining a high F1-score of *** findings have substantial significance for the long-term assessment of patients with IESS.

Synergistic effect of electrode defect regulation and Bi catalyst deposition on the performance of iron–chromium redox flow battery

Iron-chromium redox flow batteries (ICRFBs) possess advantages of high safety,long cycle time,and *** Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+)reaction activity is suggested as one of the most promising strategies to improve the performance and prolong the lifetime of *** improve the slow reaction kinetics of the negative electrode,a type of defected carbon cloth with Bismuth (Bi) catalyst introduction is prepared by defect engineering method and electrochemical deposition,which provided defect sites and active sites to catalyze the redox couple’s reaction of ***,this modified carbon cloth adsorbs Cr(Ⅲ)hydrate more easily,which has a more stable structure and can significantly improve the performance of *** experimental analysis and theoretical calculation indicated that the modified electrode has excellent electrocatalytic ability,which can enhance the reaction rate of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+),improve capacity retention and stabilize cycling *** capacity degradation rate of an ICRFB single cell with the modified electrodes is just 0.23%per cycle at a current density of 140 m A/cm^(2).Additionally,the energy efficiency (EE) remains around 83%,which is 8.45%higher than that of the pristine electrode assembled battery under 60 *** work supplies a simple method to obtain a high-performance electrode material for ICRFBs and makes it a practical solution to promote ICFRBs large-scale commercialization process.

Symmetry of Lagrangians of a holonomic variable mass system

The symmetry of Lagrangians of a holonomic variable mass system is studied. Firstly, the differential equations of motion of the system are established. Secondly, the definition and the criterion of the symmetry of the system are presented. Thirdly, the conditions under which there exists a conserved quantity deduced by the symmetry are obtained. The form of the conserved quantity is the same as that of the constant mass Lagrange system. Finally, an example is shown to illustrate the application of the result.

Metastable phase in tungsten film is of great interests in recent years due to its giant spin Hall effects,however,little information has been known on its nucleation,growth and phase *** this paper,a 900 nm-thick tungsten film with double-layer structure(α-W underlayer andβ-W above it)was produced on SiO_(2)/Si substrate by high vacuum magnetron sputtering at room *** structural properties ofβ-W were systemically investigated by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,thermodynamic calculation,first-principle and phase-field *** is found that theβ-W nucleation is energetically favoured on the SiO_(2)surface compared to theα-W *** the film thickening proceeds,β-W[211]turns to be preferred direction of growth owing to the elastic strain energy minimization,which is verified by phase-field ***,theβ→αphase transformation takes place near the film-substrate interface while the rest of the film keeps theβ-W phase,leading to a doublelayer *** localized phase transition is induced by lower Gibbs free energy ofα-W phase at larger grain sizes,which can be confirmed by thermodynamic *** in-situ heating TEM analysis of the as-deposited film reveals that theβ→αphase transformation is fulfilled byα/βinterface propagation rather than local atomic *** findings offer valuable insights into the intrinsic properties of metastable phase in tungsten.

Fine-grained Ship Image Recognition Based on BCNN with Inception and AM-Softmax

The fine-grained ship image recognition task aims to identify various classes of ***,small inter-class,large intra-class differences between ships,and lacking of training samples are the reasons that make the task ***,to enhance the accuracy of the fine-grained ship image recognition,we design a fine-grained ship image recognition network based on bilinear convolutional neural network(BCNN)with Inception and additive margin Softmax(AM-Softmax).This network improves the BCNN in two ***,by introducing Inception branches to the BCNN network,it is helpful to enhance the ability of extracting comprehensive features from ***,by adding margin values to the decision boundary,the AM-Softmax function can better extend the inter-class differences and reduce the intra-class *** addition,as there are few publicly available datasets for fine-grained ship image recognition,we construct a Ship-43 dataset containing 47,300 ship images belonging to 43 *** results on the constructed Ship-43 dataset demonstrate that our method can effectively improve the accuracy of ship image recognition,which is 4.08%higher than the BCNN ***,comparison results on the other three public fine-grained datasets(Cub,Cars,and Aircraft)further validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Hydrophilic polymer coatings on artificial implants generate excellent tribological *** friction properties of polymer coatings are affected by salt ion ***,the atomic force microscopy(AFM)was used to show that the superlubricity was achieved between poly(vinylphosphonic acid)(PVPA)-modified Ti6Al4V and polystyrene(PS)microsphere probe lubricated with monovalent salt solutions(LiCl,NaCl,KCl,and CsCl).Considering that adhesion is an important cause of friction changes,the AFM was further utilized to obtain adhesion between friction pairs in different salt *** results indicated that the larger the cation radius in the lubricant,the smaller the adhesion,and the lower the friction coefficient of the PVPA *** electrostatic interaction between the PVPA and one-valence cations in lubricants was analyzed by the molecular dynamics(MD)simulation as it was found to be the main influencing factor of the *** analysis results of friction and adhesion indicated that by adjusting the size of cation radius in lubricant,the adhesion between the tribo-pairs can be changed,and eventually the magnitude of friction can be *** study opens up a new avenue for analyzing the friction characteristics of hydrophilic polymer coatings from the perspective of intermolecular forces.

Stability for the manifolds of equilibrium states of a generalized Birkhoff system is studied. A theorem for the stability of the manifolds of equilibrium states of the general autonomous system is used to the generalized BirkhoiYian system and two propositions on the stability of the manifolds of equilibrium states of the system are obtained. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results.
