Background:Exploring the protective mechanism of the Liangxue Huayu(LXHY)decoction on human retinal pigment epithelial(RPE)cells induced by hypoxia through the autophagy ***:The appropriate LXHY decoction concentration was determined by ***-19 cells were divided into the normal control group(A group),CoCl_(2)group(B group),3-Methyladenine(3-MA)group(treated with 3-MA(the inhibition of autophagy pathway))(C group),blank serum(BS)group(D group),LXHY drug-contained serum(DCS)group(E group),and Rapamycin(RAP)group[treated with LXHY drug-contained serum combined with rapamycin group(the activation of autophagy pathway)](F group).Counting the number of autophagosomes and autolysosomes in each group of cells under transmission electron *** infection of cells in each group by mRFP-GFP-LC3 fusion protein adenovirus,the strength of autophagic flux was *** mRNA expression levels of LC3 and Beclin-1 were detected by ***:CCK-8 assay results showed that LXHY DCS could inhibit the cell proliferation of ARPE-19 under hypoxia(all P<0.05).As the transmission electron microscopy assay result showed,compared with the normal control group,the number of autolysosomes was significantly increased in the CoCl_(2)group(P<0.05).Compared with CoCl_(2)group,the number of autolysosomes was significantly reduced the 3-Methyladenine group,blank serum group and LXHY drug-contained serum group(all P<0.001).As autophagic flux assay result showed,compared with the normal control group,the level of autophagosomes and autolysosomes were significantly risen in CoCl_(2)group(all P<0.001).Compared with the CoCl_(2)group,the level of autophagosomes and autolysosomes were significantly fell down in 3-Methyladenine group,blank serum group and LXHY drug-contained serum group(all P<0.05).The level of autolysosomes in the LXHY drug-contained serum group was lower than in the blank serum group(P<0.05).Compared with the LXHY drug-contained serum group,the levels o

Vanadium nitride nanoparticles embedded in carbon matrix with pseudocapacitive behavior for high performance lithium-ion capacitors

Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs)have attracted wide attention due to their potential of achieving merits of high-power output as well as high energy ***-ever,the key issue of kinetics mismatch between anode and cathode hinders the electrochemical performance of ***,a vanadium nitride composite with nanoparti-cles embedded in carbon matrix(VN-C)was prepared as an efficiently pseudocapacitive anode material with high electronic conductivity and fast Li-ion diffusion *** VN-C composites were synthesized through one-step ammonia heating treatment at different temperatures among which the sample annealed at 600℃exhibits high specific capacity(513 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1)),outstanding rate performance(~300 mAh·g^(-1)at 10 A·g^(-1)),and excellent cyclic steadiness(negligible capacity decay over 2000 cycles)in half-cell devices.A high-performance lithium-ion capacitor device was also fabricated by using VN-C-600 as the anode and activated carbon as the cath-ode,delivering a maximum energy density of 112.6 Wh·kg^(-1)and an extreme power density of 10 kW·kg^(-1).

Production induced fracture closure of deep shale gas well under thermo-hydro-mechanical conditions

Deep shale gas reservoirs have geological characteristics of high temperature,high pressure,high stress,and inferior ability to pass through *** multi-stage fractured horizontal well is the key to exploiting the deep shale gas ***,during the production process,the effectiveness of the hydraulic fracture network decreases with the closure of fractures,which accelerates the decline of shale gas *** this paper,we addressed the problems of unclear fracture closure mechanisms and low accuracy of shale gas production prediction during deep shale gas *** we established the fluid—solid—heat coupled model coupling the deformation and fluid flow among the fracture surface,proppant and the shale *** the fluid—solid—heat coupled model was applied to the fracture network,it was well solved by our numerical method named discontinuous discrete fracture *** with the conventional discrete fracture method,the discontinuous discrete fracture method can describe the three-dimensional morphology of the fracture while considering the effect of the change of fracture surface permeation coefficient on the coupled fracture—matrix flow and describing the displacement discontinuity across the *** simulations revealed that the degree of fracture closure increases as the production time proceeds,and the degree of closure of the secondary fractures is higher than that of the primary *** creep and proppant embedment both increase the degree of fracture *** reduction in fracture surface permeability due to proppant embedment reduces the rate of fluid transfer between matrix and fracture,which has often been overlooked in the ***,it significantly impacts shale gas production,with calculations showing a 24.7%cumulative three-year yield *** study is helpful to understand the mechanism of hydraulic fracture ***,it provides the theoretical guidance for maintaining the long

Chain Dynamics Heterogeneity in Plasticized Poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) as Elucidated by Solid-State NMR

The chain dynamics heterogeneity of the poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) plasticized by triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexa noate)(TEG-EH) was investigated by various solid-state NMR *** plasticized PVB shows two domains in distinct molecular dynamics differences,namely,rigid and soft domains,where the latter is the plasticizer-rich *** time domain low field NMR was first used to investigate the dynamics heterogeneity of the plasticized PVB,and the results show the decreasing activated energy of components in the soft domain of plasticized PVB(E_a=20.2 kJ/mol) as compared with that of the pristine one(E_a=24.3 kJ/mol).Detailed dynamics heterogeneity was obtained by high-field NMR with site-specific *** quadrupole-echo ~2H-NMR was adopted to elucidate the dynamics heterogeneity of the vinyl alcohol(VA) units,where only the hydroxyl group of VA is *** ~1H-^(13)C WISE NMR spectra show that there is not much difference in the mobility of the VB unit in PVB with and without plasticizer,whereas the glass transition temperature differed by approximately 53℃.This is further supported by Torchia's T_1 relaxation *** origin of such an unusual phenomenon is attributed to the critical role of the remaining VA(~22%) in the soft domain,where the VA units locally aggregate through hydrogen ***,the existence of a mobility gradient in the VB unit has been ***,the mobility difference for VB with different stereo-geometry(meso or racemic conformation) is observed for the first *** indicates the importance of modulating the ratio of meso over racemic VB for controlling the macroscopic perfo rmance of PVB.

With the increasing demand for beauty and health,clear aligners(CAs)have been widely applied among patients with ***,patients treated with CAs also face some potential complications,such as demineralization,dental caries,and periodontal *** addition,some patients have additional needs to improve their quality of life,such as bleaching *** order to prevent or solve these problems,the modification of CAs is a promising method because their extensive long-term contact with tooth surfaces makes them ideal devices for implementing adjuvant medical *** this review,we discuss various advanced CAs with medical functions based on the clinical needs of *** far as we know,the additional functions of CAs mainly include antibacterial,remineralization,whitening,and accelerating tooth *** functions are achieved by two major pathways,the combination of CAs with drugs/biomaterials and increasing the capacity or affinity of *** addition,we discuss the current limitations of in vitro experiments which are designed to explore the effectiveness and properties of novel CAs,and the challenges of bringing a multifunctional appliance from proposal to clinical *** the end of this review,we provide insights into the broader prospects for the improvement of CAs.

Geometric edge effect on the interface of Au/CeO_(2)nanocatalysts for CO oxidation

The oxide supports play a crucial role in anchoring and promoting the active metal species by geometric confinement and chemical *** design and synthesis of the well-defined oxide support with specific morphology such as size,shape,and exposed facets have attracted extensive research efforts,which directly reflects on their catalytic *** this study,using an Au/CeO_(2)-nanorod model catalyst,we demonstrate an edge effect on the Au/CeO_(2)interfacial structure,which shows a prominent effect on the structure-performance relationship in the CO oxidation *** specific“edge-interface”structure features an“edge-on”Au nanoparticles position on rod-shaped CeO_(2)support,confirmed by atomic-scale electron microscopy characterization,which introduces additional degrees of freedom in coordination environment,chemical state,bond length,and *** with theocratical calculations and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS)investigations,we confirmed that this“edge-interface”has distinct adsorption properties due to the change of O vacancy formation energy as well as the chemical states of Au resulting from the electron transfer and redistribution between the metal and the *** results demonstrate a non-conventional geometric effect of rod-shaped supported metal catalysts on the catalytic performance,which could provide insights into the atomic-precise utilization of catalysts.

Tumor recurrence and survival prognosis in patients with advanced gastric cancer after radical resection with radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Microstructure and mechanical properties of a cast TRIP-assisted multiphase stainless steel

Stainless steels are used in a wide range of complex environments due to their excellent corrosion *** stainless steels can offer an excellent combination of strength,toughness and corrosion resistance due to the coexistence of different *** microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel cast multiphase stainless steel,composed of martensite,ferrite,and austenite,were investigated following appropriate heat treatment processes:solution treatment at 1,050℃ for 0.5 h followed by water quenching to room temperature,and aging treatment at 500℃ for 4 h followed by water quenching to room *** show reversed austenite is formed by diffusion of Ni element during aging process,and the enrichment of Ni atoms directly determines the mechanical stability of *** austenite with a lower Ni content undergoes a martensitic transformation during plastic *** tensile strength of the specimen exceeds 1,100 MPa and the elongation exceeds 24%after solid solution,and further increases to 1,247 MPa and 25%after aging *** enhancement is due to the TRIP effect of austenite and the precipitation of the nanoscale G-phase pinning dislocations in ferrite and martensite.
