Electroacupuncture with different waveforms for primary dysmenorrhea: A randomized controlled trial

Obj.ctive: To observe and compare the clinical effects of different electroacupuncture waveforms on primary dysmenorrhea. Methods: This was a prospective, randomized, three-group, parallel-controlled trial. Participants with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into dense-sparse wave, continuous wave, and discontinuous wave groups in a 1:1:1 ratio. Two lateral Ciliao (BL 32) points were used. All three groups started treatment 3–5 days before menstruation, once a day for six sessions per course of treatment, one course of treatment per menstrual cycle, and three menstrual cycles. The primary outcome measure was the proportion with an average visual analog scale (VAS) score reduction of ≥50% from baseline for dysmenorrhea in the third menstrual cycle during treatment. The secondary outcome measures included changes in dysmenorrhea VAS scores, Cox Menstrual Symptom Scale scores and the proportion of patients taking analgesic drugs. Results: The proportion of cases where the average VAS score for dysmenorrhea decreased by ≥50% from baseline in the third menstrual cycle was not statistically significant (P > .05). Precisely 30 min after acupuncture and regarding immediate analgesia on the most severe day of dysmenorrhea, there was a statistically significant difference in the dense-sparse wave group compared with the other two groups during the third menstrual cycle (P j.ng University of Chinese Medicine

Bacillus Licheniformis Dhs-40, a Flocculating Active Strain and Its Flocculating Activity

Microbial flocculants have become a hot spot in recent years. A bacterial strain with high flocculating activity was isolated from seawater samples. The strain was defined as Bacillus licheniformis dhs-40 by 16S rDNA identification and Biolog test. Ultrasonication test confirmed the flocculating activity of the strain was both in fermentation supernatant and cell. According to flocculating activity curve, the ideal fermentation time for collecting flocculating active substances was two days. The flocculating activity of the strain was sensitive to pH. The strain could only preserve flocculating activity while pH varied from 7 to 11. However, it could preserve flocculating activity while temperature varied from -20℃to 100 ℃ Saccharide, protein, lipid, nucleic acids qualitative test and RNase, Proteinase K treatment confirmed the flocculating active substances were proteins. Their flocculating activities were insensitive to Proteinase K.

RESISTANCE BRAZING OF SiC/2024AI COMPOSITE

The resistance brazing of 2024Al reinforced with15 volume percent of Sic particulate was simulated by using a Gleeble - 1500 Tharmal/Mechanical sindator. The results show that too high or too low brazing temperature and pressure result in decrease in shear strength of j.int,but brazing time influenc- es it slightly. The action between filler metals and the composite was analyzed by SEM and EPAM. The use of simulation method helped in the design and predication of welding technology,which re- duced the rej.ction rate as well as the cost of production.

Microwave Extraction Followed by Solid-phase Extraction for the Determination of Phthalate Esters in Fish Samples by Gas Chromatography

A new analytical procedure based on solid-phase extraction method coupled to GC-FID has been developed and validated for the determination of five phthalate esters （PAEs）（dimethyl-（DMP）, diethyl-（DEP）, di-n-butyl-（DBP）, di-2-ethylhexyl- （DEHP）, di-n-octyl-（DOP）） in fish samples. There was a good linear relationship in the range of 0.05-10μg with the detection limits of 0.09-0.16ng .The recoveries obtained for PAEs ranged from 88.6% to 96.4%with RSD of 4.2%-10.2%.The applicability of the developed method was demonstrated for real fish samples.

Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stabilizing hetero-phase interface of metal matrix composites by crystal plasticity finite element method

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity finite element(3D CPFE)simulations,co-deformation and instability of hetero-phase interface in different material systems were herein studied for polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two types of 3layer MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability can be observed in the fcc/bcc systems than in the fcc/fcc systems upon refining to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).By detailed analysis of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability is always accompanied by high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermodynamic driving forceG and the kinetic energy barrier Q during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by inserting a high density of high-energy interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high Q deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by a couple of thermodynamics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially designing MNCs.

APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK MODELING TO PLASMA ARC WELDING OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS

By using alternating current plasma arc welding,the influences were studied of such parameters as welding curent,arc voltage,welding speed,wire feed rate,and magnitude of ion gas flow on front melting width,wdle reinforcement,and back melting width of LF6 aluminum *** of the formation of welding seam in alternating current plasma arc welding of aluminum was set up with the method of artificial neural neural network - BP algorithm. Qyakuty of formation was consequently predicted and *** experimental result shows that,compared with other modeling methods,artificial network model can be used to more accurately predict formation of weld,and to guide the production practice.

Energy metabolism is fundamental for *** encompasses the utilization of carbohydrates,lipids,and proteins for internal processes,while aberrant energy metabolism is implicated in many *** the present study,using three-dimensional(3D)printing from polycarbonate via fused deposition modeling,we propose a multi-nuclear radiofrequency(RF)coil design with integrated 1H birdcage and interchangeable X-nuclei(^(2)H,^(13)C,^(23)Na,and^(31)P)single-loop coils for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)/magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS).The single-loop coil for each nucleus attaches to an arc bracket that slides unrestrictedly along the birdcage coil inner surface,enabling convenient switching among various nuclei and animal *** to a commercial 1H birdcage coil,the proposed 1H birdcage coil exhibited superior signal-excitation homogeneity and imaging signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).For X-nuclei study,prominent peaks in spectroscopy for phantom solutions showed excellent SNR,and the static and dynamic peaks of in vivo spectroscopy validated the efficacy of the coil design in structural imaging and energy metabolism detection simultaneously.
