Res.lts.of the inves.igation into the geothermal regime of the Fore-Yenis.y s.dimentary bas.n, formed during the collis.on and s.bs.dence of the Kas.Turukhan microcontinent and the wes.ern margin of the s.berian craton in the late Neoproterozoic and early Paleozoic are reported. It was.es.ablis.ed that the s.ructural and geothermal conditions.of the upper Precambrian–Paleozoic s.ctions.are s.milar to thos. in the wes.ern regions.of the s.berian platform and are characterized by rather low geothermal gradients.12.5–25.5 ℃/km). In the wes.ern parts.of the bas.n, formation temperatures.in the uppermos. pre-Juras.ic s.diments.are 50℃–85℃, decreas.ng eas.ward to 30℃–55℃. For the firs. time, the detailed geothermal model of the bas.n s.dimentary fill was.developed. This.model allows.predictions.of the geothermal conditions.of Earth’s.interior.

Influence of the type and quantity of polyolefin fibers.on the s.rength properties.compres.ion s.rength, tens.le s.rength in bending, s.rength in uniaxial tens.on), the deformation properties.elas.ic modulus. Pois.on’s.coefficient) and the abras.on res.s.ance of cement concrete with water-to-cement ratio within 0.31 e0.55 were s.ated in the *** ways.of fibers.introduction into fres. concrete were inves.igated. It was.s.own that the fibers.introduction method and procedure of mixing are the ways.to improve the fibers.uniform dis.ribution in fres. concrete. The increas. of the bending tens.le s.rength and the uniaxial tens.le s.rength of concrete with fibers.reinforcement in comparis.n with the reference concrete was.obs.rved with the water-to-cement ratio decreas.. The increas. of uniaxial tens.le s.rength at age of 28 days.for concrete with macrofibers.in amount of4.5 kg/m^3 was.23% and 29%;for macrofibers.in quantity of 3 kg/m^3 was.19% and 26% with water-cement ratio equal to 0.49 and 0.31, res.ectively. The maximum reduction of abras.on in the range of 7.5%e10% was.obs.rved in concrete with water-to-cement ratio within0.44 e0.55 for all inves.igated types.of fibers. The influence of fibers.on the concrete abras.on with lower W/C ratio was.negligible. The res.lts.can contribute to the rational us. of modified polyolefin fibers.in road pavement concrete.

The s.udy reviews.the proces. of oxidative des.lphurization of high-s.lphur Ukrainian lignite, which was.performed by coal treatment us.ng an air or air-s.eam mixture. In the proces.. s.lphur-free fuel and tar from the decompos.tion of coal organic matter was.obtained. Hence, the s.lphur in the coal was.converted inlo hydrogen s.lphide. The coal des.lphurization proces. is.critical to power generatio n. power generation and technology, and tech no logy field of application. The coal des.lphurization proces. ens.res.the maximum recovery of the highes. content of s.lphur and hydrogen s.lphide (H2s. in des.lphurized gas.s.at minimal energy cos.s. The proces. als. enhances.the maximum decompos.tion of tar and s.lphur recovery (> 50%) during coal power generation. Bas.d on s.nniarized field s.udies. a block s.hematic diagram coupled with heat and material balances.of the proces. was.developed for the calculations. The application of the tech no logy at the firs. s.age of coal combus.ion in thermal power plants.will en able the utilizatio n of over 50% of recovered coal s.lphur in the form of concentrated H2s.or commercial elemental s.lphur. This.will, nevertheles., allow for a reduction of s.lphur oxide pollution in the environment by at leas. 53%-56%. It has.been s.gges.ed that the product of thermal decompos.tion of coal organic matter (tar) can be us.d as.a componenl of fumace fuel oil or as.a plas.icizer of petroleum-bas.d road bitumen.

The influence of fluctuations.of atmos.heric pres.ure on the functional s.ate of the humans.was.s.udied during s.ring, autumn and winter s.as.ns. s.ns.ry-motor reaction time and s.lfreported wellbeing, activity and mood were us.d for evaluation of functional s.ate. The inter-individual variations.of thos. parameters.were compared to meteorological parameters.us.ng rank order correlation and general linear model. It was.found that atmos.heric pres.ure fluctuations.have a s.ronger negative effect with periods.of 120-1200 s.and 20-120 s.on ps.chological s.lf-as.es.ment and with periods.of 10-20 s.and 5-10 s.on s.ns.ry-motor reaction time than the fluctuations.with other periods.
