It remains a challenging task to achieve ring-opening(co)polymerization(ROP)of ***,we synthesized a series of Al-based catalysts and systemically investigated the effect of N-containing substituent on the sidearms on ROP of ***3 possessing Nmethyl group could effectively achieve controlled ROP of pentadecalactone(PDL)and macro(di)lactone ethylene brassylate(EB)in combination with BnOH,furnishing polyethylene-like PPDL and PEB with M_(W)up to 90.3 and 321 kg/mol,*** copolymerization of PDL and small-ring lactonesε-caprolactone(e-CL)andδ-valerolactone(δ-VL)could prepare random copolyesters with tailored T_(m)in the range of 57-94℃by controlling the ratios of PDL and e-CL,*** importantly,well-defined block copolyesters could be obtained by sequential adding PDL andε-CL,δ-VL,which have been proved by GPC-MALLS,DSC and^(13)C-NMR.

The flexoelectric effect describes the interplay between material polarization and strain *** much research has focused on control strategies for flexoelectricity,the impact of ferroelectric domain structure on the flexoelectric effect remains *** phase field simulations,we conduct a comparative study on the flexoelectric response of two types of BaTiO_(3)–SrTiO_(3) binary films:BaTiO_(3)–SrTiO_(3) multilayers and(Ba,Sr)TiO_(3) solid *** findings reveal that the flexoelectric response of these two systems,at the same Ba/Sr ratio,differs not only in magnitude but also in other aspects like temperature dependence,linearity,and hysteresis,due to their different ferroelectric domain structures and evolution *** study deepens our current understanding of flexoelectricity in ferroelectrics and suggests“domain engineering”as a potential way to tailor this effect.

During cardiac development,mechanotransduction from the in vivo microenvironment modulates cardiomyocyte growth in terms of the number,area,and arrangement ***,the response of cells to different degrees of mechanical stimuli is ***-on-a-chip,as a platform for investigating mechanical stress stimuli in cellular mimicry of the in vivo microenvironment,is limited by the lack of ability to accurately quantify externally induced ***,previous technology lacks the integration of external stimuli and feedback sensors in microfluidic platforms to obtain and apply precise amounts of external ***,we designed a cell stretching platform with an in-situ *** in-situ liquid metal sensors can accurately measure the mechanical stimulation caused by the deformation of the vacuum cavity exerted on *** platform was applied to human cardiomyocytes(AC16)under cyclic strain(5%,10%,15%,20 and 25%),and we found that cyclic strain promoted cell growth induced the arrangement of cells on the membrane to gradually unify,and stabilized the cells at 15%amplitude,which was even more effective after 3 days of *** platform’s precise control and measurement of mechanical forces can be used to establish more accurate in vitro microenvironmental models for disease modeling and therapeutic research.

Heart failure(HF)is a highly morbid syndrome that seriously affects the physical and mental health of patients and generates an enormous socio-economic *** addition to cardiac myocyte oxidative stress and apoptosis,which are considered mechanisms for the development of HF,alterations in cardiac energy metabolism and pathological autophagy also contribute to cardiac abnormalities and ultimately *** information regulator 1(Sirt1)and adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)are nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD+)-dependent deacetylases and phosphorylated kinases,*** play similar roles in regulating some pathological processes of the heart through regulating targets such as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγcoactivator 1α(PGC-1α),protein 38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors(PPARs),and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR).We summarized the synergistic effects of Sirt1 and AMPK in the heart,and listed the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)that exhibit cardioprotective properties by modulating the Sirt1/AMPK pathway,to provide a basis for the development of Sirt1/AMPK activators or inhibitors for the treatment of HF and other cardiovascular diseases(CVDs).

The distribution of inclusions at the bottom of a Ce-treated heavy steel ingot was detected and *** three-dimensional morphology and spatial distribution of CeAlOs clusters were characterized using the electrolytic extraction and Micro-CT detection.A model of inclusion collision to predict the aggregation of CeAlO_(3) inclusions in the ingot was established and validated by measured *** were mainly CeAlO_(3) and a small amount of Ce_(2)O_(2)S in the tundish after cerium *** collision and aggregation of inclusions led to the formation of large clusters in the ingot during the solidification *** slag entrainment inclusions,large CeAO_(3) clusters and small CeAlO_(3) particles were observed from the center to the edge of the ingot *** inclusions were mainly concentrated at the *** number density of inclusions larger than 200μm was 0.21 mm^(-3).The maximum diameter of CeA1O_(3) clusters was 1340μ*** the edge to the radial center and from the bottom to the top,the average diameter of inclusions gradually increased due to the longer solidification time of the ingot.

Photocatalytic water splitting using semiconductor photocatalysts is a promising approach for the production of carbon-neutral,sustainable and clean hydrogen ***,the separation and transport of photoinduced carriers are generally considered to be rate-limiting steps,and their low efficiency remains a major ***,much effort has been devoted to developing new strategies in surface/interface engineering of photocatalysts to improve the dynamics of charge separation/*** feature article briefly summarizes recent advances in photocatalyst surface/interface engineering by our research group,which have been achieved through the design of various novel photocatalysts,including interfacial modulation,heterostructure construction,heteroatom doping,single atom and diatom *** article is divided into three parts:first,we briefly introduce the three key processes involved in solar water splitting and reveal relationships between the properties of nanostructural photocatalysts and the fundamentals of water splitting;second,we detail methods and strategies for surface and interfacial structures to improve the efficiency of the fundamental processes,especially charge separation;finally,we explore prospects for photocatalytic water splitting *** article provides a valuable resource and strategies for researchers currently working in the field of photocatalytic water splitting.

In this paper, we propose a novel distributed intrusion detection system based on multi-living agent inspired by the research method of multi-living agent complex information system for improving the security of distributed intrusion detection system using mobile agent. The previous two-layer distributed intrusion detection system has been expanded into a three-layer structure, the new layer of which can monitor the livelihood of each detection agent and utilize the negotiation-coordination mechanism to adjust the working way of each agent for protecting the security of system. In this paper, we propose a quantitative analysis method of agent livelihood in distributed intrusion detection system and further present the design method of living agent. Finally, through the analysis of system working flow and the detection effect of distributed denial of service attack, we have shown that the security and stability of the novel distributed intrusion detection system is effectively enhanced and the agent can work normally in strict restraint strong countermeasure environment.

Repairing Achilles tendon has emerged as a long-standing challenge in the orthopaedic *** suture is the gold standard for re-attaching and repairing the fractured Achilles tendons in clinical surgeries,it is still subjected to numerous adverse side-effects,including chronic inflammatory,tendon tissue re-rupture,scar formation,and post-surgical peritendinous *** this work,we develop a class of hydrogel bioadhesives with tailored nanoscale phase separation for Achilles tendon *** address the existing limitations of sutures,our hydrogel bioadhesives encompass three core functionalities:(i)instant and tough adhesion to Achilles tendon tissues,(ii)extraordinary long-term adhesion robustness under wet and dynamic in vivo conditions,and(iii)anti-postsurgical peritendinous *** our hydrogel bioadhesives with sutures,such kind of integrated approach enables a conformable yet robust biointerface with the tendon tissues,and prevents the fibroblast migration and formation of connective tissues,thus facilitating the tendon *** hydrogel bioadhesives reported here open up new opportunities for the repairing of fractured Achilles tendons in diverse and complicated clinical scenarios.

This paper aims to address the problem of multi-UAV cooperative search for multiple targets in a mountainous environment,considering the constraints of UAV dynamics and prior environmental ***,using the target probability distribution map,two strategies of information fusion and information diffusion are employed to solve the problem of environmental information inconsistency caused by different UAVs searching different areas,thereby improving the coordination of UAV ***,the task region is decomposed into several high-value sub-regions by using data clustering *** on this,a hierarchical search strategy is proposed,which allows precise or rough search in different probability areas by adjusting the altitude of the aircraft,thereby improving the search ***,the Elite Dung Beetle Optimization Algorithm(EDBOA)is proposed based on bionics by accurately simulating the social behavior of dung beetles to plan paths that satisfy the UAV dynamics constraints and adapt to the mountainous terrain,where the mountain is considered as an obstacle to be ***,the objective function for path optimization is formulated by considering factors such as coverage within the task region,smoothness of the search path,and path *** effectiveness and superiority of the proposed schemes are verified by the simulation.
