negatively thermo-responsive 2D membranes,which mimic the stomatal opening/closing of plants,have drawn substantial interest for tunable molecular separation ***,these membranes are still restricted significantly on account of low water permeability and poor dynamic tunability of 2D nanoch.nnels under temperature ***,we present a biomimetic negatively thermo-responsive MXene membrane by covalently grafting poly(n-isopropylacrylamide)(PnIPAm)onto MXene *** uniformly grafted PnIPAm polymer chains can enlarge the interlayer spacings for increasing water permeability while also allowing more tunability of 2D nanoch.nnels for enhancing the capability of gradually separating multiple molecules of different *** expected,the constructed membrane exhibits ultrahigh water permeance of 95.6 L m^(-2) h^(-1) bar^(-1) at 25℃,which is eight-fold higher than the state-of-the-art negatively thermoresponsive 2D ***,the highly temperature-tunable 2D nanoch.nnels enable the constructed membrane to perform excellent graded molecular sieving for dye-and antibiotic-based ternary *** strategy provides new perspectives in engineering smart 2D membrane and expands the scope of temperature-responsive membranes,showing promising applications in micro/nanofluidics and molecular separation.

This study elaborates on the design,fabrication,and data analysis details of SPEED,a recently proposed smartphonebased digital polymerase chain reaction(dPCR)*** dPCR chips incorporate partition diameters ranging from 50μm to 5μm,and these partitions are organized into six distinct blocks to facilitate image *** to the superior thermal conductivity of Si and its potential for mass production,the dPCR chips were fabricated on a Si substrate.A temperature control system based on a high-power density Peltier element and a preheating/cooling PCR protocol user interface shortening the thermal cycle *** optical design employs four 470 nm light-emitting diodes as light sources,with filters and mirrors effectively managing the light emitted during *** algorithm is utilized for image processing and illumination nonuniformity correction including conversion to a monochromatic format,partition identification,skew correction,and the generation of an image correction *** validated the device using a range of deoxyribonucleic acid targets,demonstrating its potential applicability across multiple ***,we provide guidance and verification of the design and testing of the recently proposed SPEED device.

Let a and b be positive integers such that a≤b and a≡b(mod 2).We say that G has all(a,b)-parity factors if G has an h-factor for every function h:V(G)→{a,a+2,…,b-2,b} with b|V(G)| even and h(v)≡b(mod 2) for all v∈V(G).In this paper,we prove that every graph G with n≥2(b+1)(a+b) vertices has all(a,b)-parity factors if δ(G)≥(b^(2)-b)/a,and for any two nonadjacent vertices u,v ∈V(G),max{d_(G)(u),d_(G)(v)}≥bn/a+***,we show that this result is best possible in some sense.

Developing cost-effective electrocatalysts with high activity and stability especially at high current density is of great significance for the large-scale commercial application of electrochemical water splitting to hydrogen production but still remains ***,we report an effective confinement pyrolysis strategy to fabricate embedded ruthenium-cobalt nanoclusters supported on n-doped porous two-dimensional carbon nanosheets(RuCo@Cn).Markedly,the embedded structure can effectively prevent the migration,agglomeration,and leach.ng of nanoparticles,thus endowing the RuCo@Cn catalyst with high *** be exact,high stability with up to 650 h can be achieved at high current density(-500 and-1000 mA·cm^(-2)).Besides,the RuCo@Cn catalysts also exhibit highly reactive with low overpotentials of only 11mV at-10 mA·cm^(-2).Density functional theory calculations reveal that the introduction of cobalt reduces the decomposition barrier of H_(2)O for RuCo@Cn alloy,thus promoting hydrogen evolution reaction.

Effects of drought on non-structural carbohydrates and C,n,and P stoichiometric characteristics of Pinus yunnanensis seedlings

To study non-structural carbohydrate character-istics and nutrient utilization strategies of Pinus yunnanen-sis under continuous drought conditions,2-year-old seed-lings were planted in pots with appropriate water,light and moderate and severe drought treatments[(80±5),(65±5),(50±5),and(35±5)%of field water-holding capacity].non-structural carbohydrates,carbon(C),nitrogen(n),and phosphorus(P)concentrations were measured in each plant *** results show that:(1)With increasing drought,non-structural carbohydrates gradually increased in leaves,stems,and coarse roots,while gradually decreased in fine roots;(2)C concentrations of all were relatively stable under different stress *** utilization of each component increased under light and moderate drought conditions,while n and P utilization efficiency of each plant component decreased under severe *** was mainly restricted by n,first decreasing and then increasing with increased drought;(3)There was a correlation between the levels of non-structural carbohydrates and C,n,and P in each *** in n concentration affected the interconversion between soluble sugar and starch,which play a regulatory role in the fluctuation of the concentration of non-structural carbohydrates;and,(4)Plasticity analysis showed that *** seedlings responded to drought mainly by altering starch concentration,the ratio of soluble sugar to starch in leaves and stems,and further by alter-ing n and P utilization ***,these results suggest that the physiological activities of all organs of *** seedlings are restricted under drought and that trade-offs exist between different physiological indicators and *** findings are helpful in understanding non-structural carbohydrate and nutrient adaptation mech.nisms under drought in *** seedlings.

Synergic catalytic effect between active sites and supports greatly determines the catalytic activity for the aerobic oxidative desulfurization of fuel *** this work,ni-doped Co-based bimetallic metal-organic framework(Coni-MOF)is fabricated to disperse n-hydroxyphthalimide(nHPI),in which the whole catalyst provides plentiful synergic catalytic effect to improve the performance of oxidative desulfurization(ODS).As a bimetallic MOF,the second metal ni doping results in the flower-like morphology and the modification of electronic properties,which ensure the exposure of nHPI and strengthen the synergistic effect of the overall *** with the monometallic Co-MOF and naked nHPI,the nHPI@Coni-MOF triggers the efficient activation of molecular oxygen and improves the ODS performance without an *** sulfur removal of dibenzothiophene-based model oil reaches 96.4%over the nHPI@Coni-MOF catalyst in 8 h of ***,the catalytic product of this aerobic ODS reaction is sulfone,which is adsorbed on the catalyst surface due to the difference in *** work provides new insight and strategy for the design of a strong synergic catalytic effect between nHPI and bimetallic supports toward high-activity aerobic ODS materials.

A novel Foreign Object Detection Method in Transmission Lines Based on Improved YOLOv8n

The rapid pace of urban development has resulted in the widespread presence of construction equipment andincreasingly complex conditions in transmission corridors. These conditions pose a serious threat to the safeoperation of the power *** vision technology, particularly object recognition technology, has beenwidelyemployed to identify foreign objects in transmission line images. Despite its wide application, the technique faceslimitations due to the complex environmental background and other auxiliary factors. To address these challenges,this study introduces an improved YOLOv8n. The traditional stepwise convolution and pooling layers are replacedwith a spatial-depth convolution (SPD-Conv) module, aiming to improve the algorithm’s efficacy in recognizinglow-resolution and small-size objects. The algorithm’s feature extraction network is improved by using a LargeSelective Kernel (LSK) attention mech.nism, which enhances the ability to extract relevant features. Additionally,the SIoU Loss function is used instead of the Complete Intersection over Union (CIoU) Loss to facilitate fasterconvergence of the algorithm. Through experimental verification, the improved YOLOv8n model achieves adetection accuracy of 88.8% on the test set. The recognition accuracy of cranes is improved by 2.9%, which isa significant enhancement compared to the unimproved algorithm. This improvement effectively enhances theaccuracy of recognizing foreign objects on transmission lines and proves the effectiveness of the new algorithm.
