As a novel biomarker,there is inconsistent evidence regarding the association between anti-Miillerian hormone (AMH) and live birth rate in freezing-all embryo transfer *** aim to assess the prognostic effect of baseline AMH on clinical outcomes,especially live birth rate in freezing-all embryo transfer cycles.A total of 828 non-polycystic ovary patients that underwent their first frozen-thawed embryo transfers in our center between January 2010 and January 2015 were recruited in this retrospective *** were stratified into three groups based on their baseline AMH concentration:low AMH group (5.8 ng/mL).The results showed that low AMH level was associated With adverse clinical *** differences in implantation rate (21.9% vs.43.2% vs.58.8%,Plinical pregnancy rate (32.0% vs.55.2% vs.65.7%, Plive birth delivery rate (21.8% vs.43.6% vs.52.7%,Pline FSH level,AFC,endometrium thickness,endometriurn preparation protocols,number of embryos transferred,etiologies of infertility),differences in live birth rate,clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate between groups remained *** further age subgroup analysis demonstrated that low AMH concentration was significantly associated with poor outcomes both in young and advanced *** area under the curve for serum AMH,age,AFC and FSH were 0.635,0.634,0.615 and 0.543 respectively,for predicting live *** conclusion, baseline AMH was an independent prognostic factor of live birth rate of freezing-all embryo transfers,but its predictive value on live birth rate was of limited clinical value.

In this paper, turbulent data obtained from the Damxung site during the Secondary Tibetan Plateau Science Experiment (TIPEX) in 1998 are used to study the characteristics of the turbulent spectra, turbulence transport, and the dissipation rates of turbulent kinetic energy, temperature variance, and humidity variance in the middle area of the Tibetan Plateau. The turbulent spectra of wind velocity, potential temperature, and humidity satisfy the-2/3 power law in the high frequency range. Horizontal transportation of heat and water vapor is negligible compared with vertical transportation under strong unstable conditions, and as the stability parameter z/L increases (where z is the observational height, and L is the Monin Obukhov length), horizontal transportation becomes dominant under near-neutral, neutral, and stable conditions. The non-dimensional temperature and humidity variances are 20% less than the temperature and humidity gradient variances. These deficits appear to increase as the absolute stability parameter increases. Moreover, the effects of turbulence transportation and pressure variance exist throughout the entire stability region.

Triticum aestivum L. cv. Guizi 1(GZ1) is a drought-tolerant local purple wheat cultivar. It is not clear how purple wheat resists drought stress, but it could be related to anthocyanin biosynthesis. In this study, transcriptome data from droughttreated samples and controls were compared. Drought slightly reduced the anthocyanin, protein and starch contents of GZ1 grains and significantly reduced the grain weight. Under drought stress, 16 682 transcripts were reduced, 27 766 differentially expressed genes(DEGs) were identified, and 379 DEGs, including DREBs, were related to defense response. The defense-response genes included response to water deprivation, reactive oxygen, bacteria, fungi, etc. Most of the structural and regulatory genes in anthocyanin biosynthesis were downregulated, with only Ta DFR, Ta OMT, Ta5,3GT, and Ta MYB-4 B1 being upregulated. Ta CHS, Ta F3H, TaCHI, Ta4CL, and TaF3’H are involved in responses to UV, hormones, and stimulus. Ta CHS-2D1, Ta DFR-2D2, Ta DFR-7D, TaOMT-5A, Ta5,3 GT-1B1, Ta5,3GT-3A, and Ta5,3GT-7B1 connect anthocyanin biosynthesis with other pathways, and their interacting proteins are involved in primary metabolism, genetic regulation, growth and development, and defense responses. There is further speculation about the defense-responsive network in purple wheat. The results indicated that biotic and abiotic stress-responsive genes were stimulated to resist drought stress in purple wheat GZ1, and anthocyanin biosynthesis also participated in the drought defense response through several structural genes.

This study aimed to establish a rapid analytical method to determine antioxidants in essence. A simple,efficient and practical, vortex-assisted, cloud-point extraction（VACPE） procedure is proposed for extracting and pre-concentrating four different of synthetic phenolic antioxidants（SPAs）, propyl gallate（PG）, tert-butylhydroquinone（TBHQ）, butylated hydroxyanisole（BHA）, butylated hydroxytoluene（BHT） in essence prior to high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） analysis. The non-ionic surfactant, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether-9（AEO-9）, was used as extractant and vortex-mixing was utilized to reduce extraction time and improve extraction efficiency. The effective parameters of the extraction process, such as volume of extraction solvent, pH, vortex-mixing time, equilibration temperature and time, were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of PG, TBHQ,BHA and BHT was 8.0–800 ng/mL. All correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were higher than0.996 and relative standard deviations（RSD, n = 5） were 2.36%–5.46%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the extraction and determination of antioxidants in essence samples with satisfactory relative recoveries of 89.4%–103.5%. The results confirmed the SPAs of essence could be effectively monitored by this method and also established good reference criteria for essence.

In a weak acid medium, potassium ferrioxalate（PF） can react with some aminoglycoside（AGs） antibiotics, such as amikacin（AMK）, kanamycin（KANA）, tobramycin（TOB） and gentamicin（GEN）, to form ion-association complexes. It results in the enhancement of resonance light scattering（RLS） in different degrees. The maximum scattering peaks are all located at 345 nm. Among them, the relative scattering intensity（AIRLs） of AMK system is much higher than that of KANA, TOB or GEN. Therefore the method is more propitious to the determination of trace amounts of AMK. The optimum reaction conditions, influencing factors, and the relationship between scattering intensity and concentration of antibiotics were investigated by means of the proposed method. The enhancement of RLS signals is directly proportional to the concentration of antibiotics in a certain range of concentration. A new resonance light scattering method for the determination of AMK and other aminoglycoside antibiotics with [Fe（C2O4）3]^3- as a probe is thus established based on it. The method exhibits high sensitivity and good selectivity. The detection limit（3σ） for AMK is 1.8 ng/mL. The method can be applied to the determination of AMK in clinical serum samples. The reaction mechanism and the reasons for RLS enhancement are discussed in this paper.

The clinical value of whole body positron emission tomography/computed tomography （PET/CT） as an imaging tool in diagnosis of ophthalmic tumors was investigated. The retrospective observational case series were performed on the patients with suspected ophthalmic tumors who underwent whole body PET/CT. The golden standard of diagnosis was the final pathological diagnosis or the results of long-term follow-up for patients without surgery/ biopsy. PET/CT findings were compared with the golden standard. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy an^t positive likelihood ratio of PET/CT in the detection of ophthalmic tumors were calculated. The clinical application of PET/CT in different types of ophthalmic tumors was evaluated. The results showed that 30 patients （18 males and 12 females） with a mean age of 43.0 years （range 4-63 years） were collected. The mean sizes of orbital tumors and intraocular tumors were 26.8 mmxl7.8 mm and 11.2 minx6.1 mm, respectively. The overall sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and positive likelihood ratio of whole body PET/CT in ophthalmic tumors were 76.5%, 71.4%, 75.0% and 2.67, and were 62.5%, 100% and 70.0% in intraocular tumors, and those were 100%, 60.0% and 84.6% in orbital tumors, respectively. PET/CT findings were applied to help make appropriate treatment options in 27 out of 30 patients （90.0%）, and 12 （40.0%） patients changed the treatment strategy. False negative results in 4 cases and false positive results in 2 cases were observed in this series. It was suggested that PET/CT was an effective imaging modality in detecting, diagnosing and developing therapeutic schedule for patients with ophthalmic tumors. It was more sensitive and accurate for detecting orbital tumors than for detecting intraocular tumors.

This study is the first to explore the potential associations among allergic conjunctivitis(AC),air pollution,and meteorological conditions in Northeast *** of meteorology,ambient atmospheric pollutants,and the incidence of allergic conjunctivitis(IAC)in prefecture-level cities between the years 2014 and 2018 are *** results show an increasing trend in the AC of average growth rate per annum 7.6%,with the highest incidence in the provincial *** IAC is positively correlated with atmospheric pollutants(i.e.,PM_(2.5),PM_(10),CO,SO_(2),NO_(2),and O_(3))and meteorological factors(i.e.,air temperature and wind speed),but negatively correlated with relative *** results suggest that the IAC is directly proportional to pollution level and climatic conditions,and also the precedence of air *** have further obtained the threshold values of atmospheric pollutants concentration and meteorological factors,a turning point above which more AC may be *** with the air quality standard advised by China and the World Health Organization(WHO),both thresholds of PM_(10)(70μg m^(-3))and PM_(2.5)(45μg m^(-3))are higher than current standards and pose a less environmental risk for the ***_(2) threshold(23μg m^(-3))is comparable to the WHO standard and significantly lower than that of China’s,indicating greater environmental risks in *** thresholds of NO_(2)(27μg m^(-3))and O_(3)(88μg m^(-3))are below current standards,indicating that they are major environmental risk factors for the *** findings highlight the importance of atmospheric environmental protection and reference for health-based amendment.

Effects of salinity and desalination on seed germination of six annual weed species

The effects of various salinities and desalination on seed germination of six annual glycophytes （Artemisia sieversiana, A. scoparia, Chloris virgata, Eragrostis pilosa, Chenopodium acuminatum and Chenopodium glaucum） were studied in Horqin Sandy land, Inner Mongolia, China. NaCl solutions of five concentrations （0 mM, as the control, and 50, 100, 200 and 300 mM） were used for saline stress and desalination treatments. Increasing salinity significantly reduced germination percentages of A. sieversiana, A. scoparia, *** and Ch. acuminatum, but had no effect on the germination percentages of E. pilosa. Lower salinity levels （50 mM） significantly increased germination percentage of Ch. glaucum. High salinity might be a precondition for germi- nation after desalination for five of the six species, excepting E. pilosa at NaCl concentration of 300 mM in comparison with non-primed seeds. Higher salinity （200 mM） led to some specific ion toxicity and reduced seed viability of A. sieversiana. No specific ion toxicity but an osmotic effect limited the germination of other five species was observed The final germination percentages （salinity stress and desalination） of the six species showed three variations in comparison with the controls, namely, indiscrimination, stimulation, and reduction. Germination responses to salinity and desalination suggested that the six species were separated into three categories. Three species （A. sieversiana, Ch. virgata and Ch. acuminatum） showed similar germination responses to salinity with those of halophyte, but also showed a lower tolerance limit than most halophytes, although this was not always the case. A. scoparia and Ch. glaucum exhibited some ‘salt stimulation’ in seed germination percentages after desalination, whereas E. pilosa did not show any obvious responseto salinity. The purpose of this study is to explore the associations among dry eye disease(DED),air pollution,and meteorological conditions in the cold region of a northeastern Chinese metropolis(i.e.,Changchun).Data on ambient air pollutants and meteorological parameters as well as diagnosed DED outpatients during 2015–2021 were *** associations between DED and environmental factors were analysed at multiple time scales using various statistical methods(i.e.,correlation,regression and machine learning).Among the 10,809 DED patients(21,617 eyes)studied,64.60%were female and 35.40%were male.A higher frequency of DED was observed in March and April,followed by January,August and *** and multiple factor models showed the positive importance of particles with aerodynamic diameterslighting the importance of coordinated policies in air pollution control and climate change mitigation.
