Although seemingly disparate,high-energy nuclear physics(heNP)and machine learning(ML)have begun to merge in the last few years,yielding interesting *** is worthy to raise the profile of utilizing this novel mindset from ML in heNP,to help interested readers see the breadth of activities around this *** aim of this mini-review is to inform the community of the current status and present an overview of the application of ML to *** different aspects and using examples,we examine how scientific questions involving heNP can be answered using ML.

The main purpose of the present work is to discuss whether or not the collective flows in heavy-ion collision at the Fermi energy can be taken as a tool to investigate the cluster configuration in light nuclei. In practice, within an extended quantum molecular dynamics model, four a-clustering （linear chain, kite, square and tetrahedron） configurations of 16O are employed in the initialization, 16O＋16O around the Fermi energy （40-60 MeV/nucleon） with impact parameter 1-3fro are simulated, and the directed and elliptic flows are analyzed. It is found that collective flows are influenced by the different a-clustering configurations, and the directed flow of free protons is more sensitive to the initial cluster configuration than the elliptic flow. Nuclear reaction at the Fermi energy can be taken as a useful way to study cluster configuration in light nuclei.

Considering the R&D for upgrading the K^(0)_(L) andμdetectors in the Belle II experiment using a scintillator and silicon pho-tomultiplier(SiPM),we designed a compact high-speed and low-noise *** preamplifier demonstrated a good gain stability,bandwidth of 426 MHz,baseline noise level ofσ≈0.6 mV,dynamic range of up to170 mV of the input signal amplitude,good time resolution of 20 ps,and it can be comprehensively applied to *** pole-zero-cancelation in the preamplifier reduces both the rise and fall times of the SiPM signal,which can significantly improve the time resolution and reduce the pile-up when using a large SiPM or an array of *** combinations of the preamplifier and several types of SiPMs demonstrated time resolutions better than 50 ps for most cases;when the number of detected photons was larger than 60,a time resolution of approximately 25 ps was achieved.

In this study,we evaluated the mass spectra of the prospective 0^(--) hidden-charm and hidden-bottom tetraquark states in molecular configuration via QCD sum *** our calculation,the nonperturbative condensate contributions are considered up to dimension eight in operator product *** is found that there could exist 4possible 0^(--) hidden-charm tetraquark states with masses(4.68±0.07),(4.22±0.09),(4.53±0.09),and(4.26±0.13) *** corresponding hidden-bottom partners are found lying at(11.04±0.10),(10.71±0.12),(11.09±0.10),and(11.82±0.14) GeV,*** possible tetraquark decay modes were analyzed,which are expected to be measured in BESⅢ,BELLEⅡ,and LHCb experiments.

Concept, configuration, and application of on-board nanogrids for use in electric vehicles

Against the backdrop of increasingly serious climate change, researchers are attempting to extend macroscale carbon reduction research to smaller scales. With the rapid development and widespread application of electric vehicles(EVs), an effective approach for carbon reduction based on EVs has the potential to be developed. To coordinate and manage the EV platform in diverse application scenarios, the concept of an on-board nanogrid(OBNG), in which a nanogrid is combined with the EV, is proposed and defined, and the characteristics summarized. A configuration that includes a physical layer with the on-board hardware system;an information layer for logical control, energy management, and communication coordination;and an application layer that can cope with different working environments is proposed. A detailed introduction to the basic architecture and management mode of each layer is provided along with information concerning the relevant technologies for coordinated operation. New ideas and approaches to improve the existing performance are proposed, and finally, combined with a background of smart and low-carbon cities, major application scenarios are envisioned.

In this paper,the implantation-decay method is introduced to study the β-delayed charged particle decay.A silicon detector array was used for the implantation of the incident beams and for the detection of the emitted *** experimental measurement on the β-delayed particle emission from ^(22)Al was used to demonstrate the *** half-life value,charged particle spectroscopy,γ ray spectrum,and γ particle coincidence for the decay process were obtained and compared with previous experimental results for ^(22)*** results show that the implantation-decay method,using a silicon detector array,is a suitable experimental method to study the β-delayed charged particle decay for proton-rich nuclei.

KCNA1 is the coding gene for Kv1.1 voltage-gated potassium-channelα*** variants of KCNA1 have been reported to manifest as paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia(PKD),but the correlation between them remains unclear due to the phenotypic complexity of KCNA1 variants as well as the rarity of PKD *** the whole exome sequencing followed by Sanger sequencing,we screen for potential pathogenic KCNA1 variants in patients clinically diagnosed with paroxysmal movement disorders and identify three previously unreported missense variants of KCNA1 in three unrelated Chinese *** proband of one family(c.496G>A,p.A166T)manifests as episodic ataxia type 1,and the other two(c.877G>A,p.V293I and c.1112C>A,p.T371A)manifest as *** pathogenicity of these variants is confirmed by functional studies,suggesting that p.A166T and p.T371A cause a loss-of-function of the channel,while p.V293I leads to a gain-of-function with the property of voltage-dependent gating and activation kinetic *** reviewing the locations of PKD-manifested KCNA1 variants in Kv1.1 protein,we find that these variants tend to cluster around the pore domain,which is similar to ***,our study strengthens the correlation between KCNA1 variants and PKD and provides more information on genotype–phenotype correlations of KCNA1 channelopathy.
