We report an important observation that the surface conductivity of antibody layer immobilized on polylysine-coated glass substrate decreases upon the formation of complex with their specific antigens. This change in conductivity has been observed for both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The conductance of monoclonal mouse 1gG immobilized on polylysine-coated glass substrate changed from 1.02×10^-8 Ω^-1 to 1.41×10^-11 Ω^-1 at 10 V when complex is formed due to the specific biomolecular interactions with rabbit anti-mouse 1gG F（ab′）2. Similar behavior was observed when the same set up was tested in two clinical assays：（1） anti-Leishmania antigen polyclonal antibodies taken from Kala Azar positive patient serum interacting with Leishmania promastigote antigen, and （2） anti-p21 polyclonal antibodies interacting with p21 antigen. The proposed concept can represent a new immunodiagnostic technique and may have wide ranging applications in biosensors and nanobiotechnology too.

This study investigated the performance and emissions of flex fuels in a 110-cc BS6-compliant fuel-injected two-wheeler without ethanol adaptation adjustments. The tests were carried out under controlled conditions on a chassis dynamometer at 1000, 2000 and 3000 r.p.m. using ethanol blends from 10% ethanol (E10) to 85% ethanol (E85). Parameters examined included brake power (BP) output, brake-specific fuel consumption (BSFC), peak in-cylinder pressure and exhaust temperature. Emissions, including carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), nitrogen oxide (NOx) and unregulated emissions, were also assessed. As the percentages of the ethanol blend increased from E10 to E85, there was a noticeable improvement in power output. At 1000 r.p.m., the BP ranged from 2.4 to 4.6 kW for different blends. The BSFC and the peak in-cylinder pressure followed a similar pattern, indicating enhanced performance and fuel efficiency with higher ethanol concentrations. Interestingly, using E85 at 1000 r.p.m. resulted in a significant 41.08% reduction in exhaust temperature compared with E10, although this difference decreased with higher blend percentages. Furthermore, replacing E10 with E85 at 1000 r.p.m. reduced CO and HC emissions by 9.17% and 38.34%, respectively. In contrast, NOx emissions increased at all r.p.m. levels with higher-ethanol blends, peaking at a 415 parts per million increase at 3000 r.p.m. However, unregulated emissions decreased significantly with increased r.p.m. and ethanol content. In summary, the use of flex-fuel blends in a two-wheeler resulted in a modest increase in BP output, improved fuel efficiency and lower CO and HC emissions. These findings are vital for optimizing ethanol blend utilization in two-wheeler engines under low-load conditions, considering both performance and environmental aspects. Fused deposition modeling(FDM) is one of the latest rapid prototyping techniques in which parts can be manufactured at a fast pace and are manufactured with a high accuracy. This research work is carried out to study the friction and wear behavior of parts made of newly developed Nylon6-Fe composite material by FDM. This work also involves the comparison of the friction and wear characteristics of the Nylon6-Fe composite with the existing acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS) filament of the FDM machine. This Is carried out on the pin on disk setup by varying the load(5, 10, 15 and 20 N) and speed(200 and 300 r/min). It is concluded that the newly developed composite is highly wear resistant and can be used in industrial applications where wear resistance is of paramount importance. Morphology of the surface in contact with the Nylon6-Fe composite and ABS is also carried out.

This study reports the investigations for repair of thermoplastic based automotive bumpers and bars with modified friction stir welding(MFSW)*** MFSW,consumable tool of polyamide6(PA6)composite has been used for joining of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS)*** dissimilar thermoplastics were processed for maintaining a useful range of melt flow properties followed by preparation of feed stock filament for fused deposition modeling(FDM)process through screw ***,3D printed PA6 based consumable rapid tool(RT)was prepared for *** joints prepared were subjected to flexural,hardness,morphological and thermal *** study has suggested the that maximum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1400 r/min,50 mm/min transverse speed and 3 mm plunge depth,whereas the minimum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1000 r/min,30 mm/min transverse speed and 2 mm plunge *** results are also supported with thermal analysis and photomicrographs.

In this work,a system for recognition of newspaper printed in Gurumukhi script is *** feature extraction techniques,namely,zoning features,diagonal features,parabola curve fitting based features,and power curve fitting based features are considered for extracting the statistical properties of the characters printed in the *** combinations of these features are also applied to improve the recognition *** recognition,four classification techniques,namely,k-NN,linear-SVM,decision tree,and random forest are used.A database for the experiments is collected from three major Gurumukhi script newspapers which are Ajit,Jagbani and Punjabi *** 5-fold cross validation and random forest classifier,a recognition accuracy of 96.19%with a combination of zoning features,diagonal features and parabola curve fitting based features has been reported.A recognition accuracy of 95.21%with a partitioning strategy of data set(70%data as training data and remaining 30%data as testing data)has been achieved.

A New Approach to Software Development Fusion Process Model

There are several software process models that have been proposed and are based on task involved in developing and maintaining software product. The large number of software projects not meeting their expectation in terms of functionality, cost, delivery schedule and effective project management appears to be lacking. In this paper, we present a new software fusion process model, which depicts the essential phases of a software project from initiate stage until the product is retired. Fusion is component based software process model, where each component implements a problem solving model. This approach reduces the risk associated with cost and time, as these risks will be limited to a component only and ensure the overall quality of software system by considering the changing requirements of customer, risk assessment, identification, evaluation and composition of relative concerns at each phase of development process.

The present study reports investigations on rheological,mechanical,thermal,tribological and morphological properties of feedstock filaments prepared with polylactic acid-polyether ketone ketone-hydroxyapatite-chitosan(PLA-PEKK-HAp-CS)composite for 3D printing of functional *** study consists of a series of melt processing operations on melt flow index(MFI)setup as per ASTM D-1238 for melt flow certainty followed by fixation of reinforcement composition/proportion as 94%PEKK-4%HAp-2%CS(B)by mass in PLA matrix(A).The blending of reinforcement and preparation of feedstock filament for fused deposition modeling(FDM)set up has been performed on commercial twin screw extruder(TSE).The results of study suggest that feedstock filaments prepared with blend of 95%A-5%B(by mass)at 200℃processing temperature and 100 r/min rotational speed on TSE resulted into better tensile properties(35.9 MPa peak strength and 32.3 MPa break strength)with 6.24%surface porosity,42.67 nm surface roughness(R_(a))and acceptable heat capacity(2.14 J/g).However as regards to tribological behavior,the minimum wear of 316μm was observed for sample with poor tensile *** regards to crash application for scaffolds the maximum toughness of 1.16 MPa was observed for 85%A-15%B(by mass)at 200℃processing temperature and 150 r/min rotational speed on TSE.
