t.e nano-gold layer formed on t.e plat.num rot.t.ng disk elect.ode (nano-Au/Pt.RD) inherit.d t.e cat.lyt.c propert. for Cr(VI) reduct.on from plat.num surface and owned t.e good feat.res of nano-gold such as insensit.vit. wit. hydrogen ion, high surface area, augment.ng diffusion of Cr(VI) and abilit. for self-assembling wit. 4-pyridine-et.anet.iol (PEt. t.rough Au←S linkages, t. form PEt.nano-Au/Pt.RD elect.ode capable of accumulat.ng Cr(VI) from sample. t.e obt.ined PEt. nano-Au/Pt.RD elect.ode showed an ext.eme sensit.vit. t. Cr(VI). By using t.is elect.ode, 1.09 ng·L﹣1 was t.e det.ct.on limit.of different.al pulse adsorpt.ve cat.odic st.ipping volt.mmet.y for Cr(VI) wit. t.e accumulat.on t.me of only 2 min. Moreover, t.is elect.ode was reproducible wit. 3.5% RSD for 30 t.mes of Cr(VI) accumulat.ng and st.ipping. In addit.on, t.is elect.ode was also select.ve for Cr(VI) det.rminat.on, which was not.almost.int.rfered by ot.er inorganic ions.

Most.applicat.ons are highly dependent.on t.e physical propert.es of t.e mat.rial which are a st.ong funct.on of t.e amount.of int.a- and int.r-molecular int.ract.ons. t.is research invest.gat.s t.e pot.nt.al t. manipulat. t.e t.pe and amount.of chain-chain int.ract.ons t. t.ilor t.e propert.es of st.rch for different.applicat.ons. t.ree t.pes of addit.ves act.ng as probe molecules were used t. vary t.ese int.ract.ons by changing t.e amount. and t.e pH of each sample: a very polar organic molecule, glycerol, a high elect.on densit. compound, t.O2, and a most.y hydrophobic organic molecule, cholest.rol. Different.al scanning calorimet.y was used t. det.rmine t.e st.engt. and t.e amount.of chain-chain int.ract.ons while Fourier t.ansform infrared spect.oscopy was used t. follow t.e nat.re of t.ese int.ract.ons. Result. show t.at.t.e different.probe molecules do int.ract.wit. st.rch but.form chemical int.ract.ons at.different.locat.ons on t.e chain. We conclude t.at.wit. proper play on amount. t.pe of addit.ve, t.mperat.re cycle, and pH a composit. of st.rch could be t.ilored for numerous and specific applicat.ons.

Decision No. 740/QD-t.g was issued on June 17, 2019 by t.e Prime Minist.r of Government.promulgat.ng t.e Red-t.ai Binh River syst.m int.r-reservoir operat.on rules (Operat.on rules 740) has some short.omings t.at.need adjust.ent. for higher wat.r use efficiency, meet.ng downst.eam wat.r demand and power generat.on benefit.. t.rough t.e result. of wat.r balance calculat.on and analysis of economic benefit. from wat.r use scenarios, t.is research proposed adjust.ent.t. t.e int.r-reservoir operat.on during dry season in t.e Red River syst.m. t.e result.showed t.at.an average wat.r level of 1.0 - 1.7 m should be maint.ined at.Hanoi during t.e increased release period.

Rice （Oryza sat.va） is sensit.ve t. salinit., but.t.e salt.t.lerance level differs among cult.vars,which might.result.from nat.ral variat.ons in t.e genes t.at.are responsible for salt.t.lerance. High-affinit.pot.ssium t.ansport.r （HKt.） has been proven t. be involved in salt.t.lerance in plant.. t.erefore, wescreened for nat.ral nucleot.de polymorphism in t.e coding sequence of OsHKt., which encodes t.e HKt.rot.in in eight.Viet.amese rice cult.vars differing in salt.t.lerance level. In t.t.l, seven nucleot.desubst.t.t.ons in coding sequence of OsHKt. were found, including t.o non-synonymous and five synonymoussubst.t.t.ons. Furt.er analysis revealed t.at.t.ese t.o non-synonymous nucleot.de subst.t.t.ons （G50t.nd t.209A） caused changes in amino acids （Gly17Val and Asp403Glu） at.signal pept.de and t.e loop oft.e sixt. t.ansmembrane domain, respect.vely. t. assess t.e pot.nt.al effect.of t.ese subst.t.t.ons on t.eprot.in funct.on, t.e 3D st.uct.re of HKt.prot.in variant. was modelled by using PHYRE2 webserver. t.eresult. showed t.at.no difference was observed when compared t.ose predict.d 3D st.uct.re of HKt.rot.in variant. wit. each ot.er. t.e main object.ve of t.is st.dy is t. predict.soil erosion in t.e Lat.akia Governorat.(W Syria) using t.e Wat.r Erosion Predict.on Project.model(WEPP) and t. compare t.e result.wit. t.at.of t.e RUSLE. Field survey and dat. collect.on were carried out. and 44 soil samples were analyzed. In addit.on, all t.e necessary input.files were prepared for use in t.e WEPP model and RUSLE. Result. show t.at.more t.an of 80% of t.e locat.ons st.died experience slight.t. moderat. erosion(less t.an 5 t.ha/y), whereas t.e rest.of t.e locat.ons experience severe soil erosion hazard. Moreover, t.e volume of runoff est.mat.d by t.e WEPP model is in t.e range of 51 e321 mm, and t.e R~2 bet.een t.e simulat.d soil erosion and t.e predict.d runoff reached 0.68. Int.rest.ngly, t.e R~2 bet.een t.e WEPP model and RUSLE is 0.56, which indicat.s a good correlat.on bet.een t.e t.o models.

Object.ve: t.e aim of t.e st.dy is t. invest.gat. t.e “new-onset.jaundice” incidence, map of causes, approaching met.od, and risk fact.rs for t.eat.ent.failure in adult.in-pat.ent. at.a t.rt.ary general hospit.l as Cho Ray Hospit.l, Ho Chi Minh Cit., Viet.Nam. Met.od: Ret.ospect.ve st.dy was done on 416 jaundice pat.ent. administ.red over 38 cont.nuous days. Laborat.ry t.st. invest.gat.d were t.t.l bilirubin, direct.bilirubin, ASt. ALt. ASt.ALt.rat.o, GGt. AP, bilirubin and urobilinogen in urine. Jaundice was defined as t.t.l bilirubin ≥ 2.5 mg/dL, direct.bilirubin jaundice defined as direct.bilirubin > 2 mg/dL and D/t.percent.ge > 60%, t.e severit. of ASt. ALt.evaluat.d according t. Common t.rminology Crit.ria for Adverse Event., ASt.ALt.rat.o, and bilirubin, urobilinogen in urine. Out.ome of t.eat.ent.were classified in t.o groups: failure (dead or discharge due t. worse st.t.s) and success. Descript.ve st.t.st.cs and analyt.c st.t.st.cs were applied, mono-variable analysis and mult.nomial logist.c regression t. find out.t.e independent.risk fact.rs for t.eat.ent.failure. Result.: t.e incidence of “new-onset. jaundice in adult.pat.ent. was 11 ± 5 person/day. t.e map of jaundice included 3 phases as pre-heapt.c 13.7%, in-hepat.c 58.2%, and post.hepat.c 22.8%. Pancreat.c and biliary t.act.diseases account.d 17.1%, t.en cirrhosis 16.3%, liver t.mor 14.7%, hepat.t.s 8.9%, sepsis 8.9%, hemat.logy diseases 7.9%, and cardiac diseases 7.5%. A guide for approaching causes of jaundice basing on 7 paramet.rs as t.t.l bilirubin, D/t.percent.ge, severit. of ALt. ASt.ALt.rat.o, severit. of GGt. and bilirubin and urobilinogen in urine was est.blished. t.e overall mort.lit. was 7.5% (31/416), sepsis had highest.deat. rat. of 37.8% (14/37). Sepsis and ASt.ALt.rat.o > 2 were t.e t.o independent.risk fact.rs of mort.lit.. We describe a new species of Rhacophorus based on t.o adult.specimens collect.d from Hoa Binh Province, nort.ern Viet.am. Rhacophorus hoabinhensis sp. nov. is dist.nguishable from it. congeners on t.e basis of a combinat.on of t.e following morphological charact.rs： size small （SVL 31.1-32.5 mm in males）; head slight.y longer t.an wide; vomerine t.et. absent. snout.short.（SNL/SVL 0.16）; dorsal skin smoot.; forearm and t.rsus wit. dermal fringes; dermal appendage at.vent.present. webbing formula on fingers I12/3-12/3II1-2III1-1IV and on t.es I3/4-1II1/2- IIII1/2-1IVI-1/2V; dorsal surface grey yellow wit. brown spot.; lower jaw region dark grey, t.roat. chest.and belly cream; ant.rior and post.rior t.ighs, as well as vent.al surface of t.bia orange. t.e int.rspecific uncorrect.d genet.c dist.nces （16S rRNA gene） bet.een t.e new species from Hoa Binh and ot.er analyzed congeners varied from 9.8% t. 17.4%. In t.e phylogenet.c analyses, t.e new species revealed t. be a represent.t.ve of Rhacophorus and was nest.d wit.in t.e R. hoanglienensis-orlovi species group.
