目前,心血管疾病是人类非意外死亡的主要原因之一,发病率较高,没有固定的发病规律。现在,心血管疾病逐渐向年轻人发展,并始终威胁着人类的健康生活。心脏是心血管系统的中枢器官,获得心脏的生理信息是心血管疾病诊断和治疗的关键。CT成像技术因其具有成像速度快、成像清晰等优点,已经成为心脏检查的常用手段。CT图像分割对心血管疾病的诊断和治疗具有重要意义。然而,心脏是一个实体器官,常见的断层图像序列很难完全显示心脏的生理信息,而对于计算机辅助诊断,介入治疗引导,心脏手术和其他技术通常需要一个完整的心脏解剖学信息。医学图像的三维可视化是发掘心脏解剖学信息的主要手段,而图像分割是实现人体器官视觉化的数据基础。对于心脏图像的分割,国内外研究人员提出了各种不同的分割方法,但大多数算法都侧重于对心房和心室的分割,难以满足整个心脏分割的要求。同时,由于心脏搏动和血流的影响,心脏CT图像容易产生伪影、边界弱化等问题,影响到心壁分割效果。此外,传统的人工分割方法需要大量医务人员的经验,并且分割的效率较低。因此,在医学图像处理领域,自动心脏分割一直是一个具有挑战性的热点问题。基于医学图像的分割和识别,本文提出了一种基于神经网络和图像显著性的新方法。该方法主要基于心脏图像和其他组织切片之间的显著差异,并且在心脏CT图像序列中,相邻片之间具有很高的相似性。本文的主要内容和创新如下:1.利用视觉显著性技术实现基于CT图像的心脏分割。利用图像显著性检测算法对CT图像进行计算,并利用显著性图像对原始CT图像进行分割,获得完整的心脏图像。进一步将分割任务分解为两部分:定位和分割,利用卷积神经网络和叠加去噪声自编码网络实现定位和分割。首先,根据卷积神经网络具有的优秀的图像分类和目标识别性能,构建卷积神经网络来实现图像中心脏的定位功能。然后,对原始心脏CT图像进行切割,并通过定位结果去除部分非目标区。此外,构造一个叠加去噪声自编码器,并通过人工划分图像来完成对CT图像中心脏组织的分类和识别的训练。2.将该分割算法的结果与人工分割结果进行了比较,并得到这两种结果的定量评价。最后利用体绘制和面绘制进行了三维可视化。本文通过对CT图像的特点和现有的心脏分割算法的分析,将心脏分割任务分解为两部分,并提出了一种基于神经网络和图像显著性的分割算法。主要内容如下:第一章,引言。介绍了本文的研究背景、目的和意义,以及国内外心脏图像分割的研究现状,并比较了现有的心脏分割算法和心脏分割的特点。最后,简要介绍了本文的主要内容,和总体结构。第二章,介绍了 CT图像分割算法。详细介绍了研究中涉及的基本算法和基本概念等知识。本文提出了基于图像显著性和神经网络的两种分割方法,并对这两种算法的分割性能进行了验证。本章也详细介绍了一些算法的概念和原理,包括CT图像处理技术的技术理论及其相关的基本概念,如卷积神经网络、图像显著性以及在分割过程中叠加去噪声的自编码等。第三章,基于视觉显著性的心脏分割。本章详细介绍了一种基于视觉显著性的分割算法,并利用显著性图像对原始的CT图像进行分割。在医学图像分割和处理中,人们只对图像的一部分感兴趣。这部分称为前景或目标,通常对应于图像中具有特殊属性的区域。因此,有必要将目标与图像分离以进行进一步的分析。图像分割技术是将图像分割成几个具有统一特征的区域,以便将感兴趣的图像区域与复杂图像内容分离开来。视觉注意力机制是包括人类在内的灵长类动物所拥有的重要属性。它可以帮助人们在许多图像信息中找到重要或感兴趣的对象,忽略其他不重要的内容,减少信息处理量的计算。因此,将视觉注意力机制引入到图像分割中可以显著提高图像分割的效率。实现基于神经网络的心脏分割方法。将心脏图像分割任务分解为两部分:定位和分割。并利用卷积神经网络和叠加去噪声自编码网络实现。如何利用计算机技术从图像中准确地分割目标区域一直是医学图像处理领域的研究挑战。由于医学图像不可避免地受到环境噪声、局部身体效应和组织运动等现象的干扰,与自然环境中的光学成像和其他问题相比,它们不可避免地具有边缘模糊、灰度分布不均匀、对比度低等特点。CT图像作为一种医学图像,图像分割也将受到上述因素的影响。为了实现图像的自动分割,减少分割的难度,提高分割的精度,本文将分割算法分解为两部分:定位和分割。针对心脏定位的问题,采用卷积神经网络定位法。针对定位后的心脏图像分割,采用叠加降噪的自编码神经网络来实现。在定位和分割的实验中,神经网络的训练效果对训练集的数量具有很强的鲁棒性。为了解决这一问题,本文采用了去噪声的自编码方法,对卷积核进行预训练,从而提高了训练集图像的数量。实验结果表明,经过训练的卷积网络对心脏CT图像具有良好的识别效果,能够准确地获得心脏位置。通过叠加去噪声自编码网络训练二进制图像,可以很好地与SF分割方法进行比较。最终的分割图像完

The best physical and geometrical parameters of the main sequence close visual binary system(CVBS), HIP 105947, are presented. These parameters have been constructed conclusively using Al-Wardat’s complex method for analyzing CVBSs, which is a method for constructing a synthetic spectral energy distribution(SED) for the entire binary system using individual SEDs for each component star. The model atmospheres are in its turn built using the Kurucz(ATLAS9) line-blanketed plane-parallel models. At the same time, the orbital parameters for the system are calculated using Tokovinin’s dynamical method for constructing the best orbits of an interferometric binary system. Moreover, the mass-sum of the components, as well as the ?θ and ?ρ residuals for the system, is introduced. The combination of Al-Wardat’s and Tokovinin’s methods yields the best estimations of the physical and geometrical parameters. The positions of the components in the system on the evolutionary tracks and isochrones are plotted and the formation and evolution of the system are discussed.

High HbA1c is associated with higher risk of ischaemic stroke in Pakistani population without diabetes

Integration of Renewable Energy Resources in Microgrid

Microgrid is a new concept in power generation. The Microgrid concept assumes a cluster of loads and micro sources operating as a single controllable system that provides both power and heat to its local area. Not much is known about Microgrid behavior as a whole system. Some models exist which describe the components of a Microgrid. In this paper, model of Microgrids with steady state and their transient responses to changing inputs are presented. Current models of a fuel cell, microturbines, wind turbine and solar cell have been discussed. Finally a complete model built of Microgrid including the power sources, their power electronics, and a load and mains model in MATLAB/Simulink is presented.

In this work, the main evidence and conclusions regarding the geological links between the basins of South American margin （Espirito Santos basin, Pelotas basin ＆ Colorado basin） with the conjugate margin of Western African （Kwanza basin, Walvis basin ＆ Orange basin） Many research works have been done in both margins of South Atlantic and Western African like sedimentation history and tectonic evolution. However, there are some cognition needs to be unified, and some geologic problems need to be further researched, such as the deposition of salt, extension of the basin, and the sedimentation history along the comparative *** basins were formed during the breakup of Gondwana, while the South Atlantic Ocean started to open during the Late Cretaceous at ca.131.7Ma, the sedimentation history between the Late Jurassic and present are broadly similar on both margins, where these basins are filled with the Cretaceous, Tertiary and the Quaternary sediments. However, the sediment of the Late Jurassic only deposit at Colorado basin in South American margin and at Kwanza basin and Orange basin in Western African margin. Sedimentation proceeded from the deposition of continental pre- and syn-rift facies, through syn-rift lacustrine, the turbiditic and transgressive shales, to shallow marine carbonates and evaporitic units before the deposition of a post rift marine transgressive and regressive *** the opening of the South Atlantic Ocean there were some major events （i.e, the Parana ＆ Etendeka volcanic plume, salt deposition before the opening of South Atlantic）, these events at these two margins could be well matched. Tectonically, South Atlantic Ocean are divided into four major segments from South to North:the Falkland segment, the South segment, the Central segment and the Equatorial segment. Transcription activator-like effectors （TALEs） from Xanthomonas sp. have been used as customizable DNA- binding modules for genome-engineering applications, Ralstonia solanacearum TALE-like proteins （RTLs） exhibit similar structural features to TALEs, including a central DNA-binding domain composed of 35 amino acid-long repeats. Here, we characterize the RTLs and show that they localize in the plant cell nucleus, mediate DNA binding, and might function as transcriptional activators. RTLs have a unique DNA-binding architecture and are enriched in repeat variable di-residues （RVDs）, which determine repeat DNA-binding specificities. We determined the DNA-binding specificities for the RVD sequences ND, HN, NP, and NT. The RVD ND mediates highly specific interactions with C nucleotide, HN interacts spe- cifically with A and G nucleotides, and NP binds to C, A, and G nucleotides. Moreover, we developed a highly efficient repeat assembly approach for engineering RTL effectors. Taken together, our data demonstrate that RTLs are unique DNA-targeting modules that are excellent alternatives to be tailored to bind to user-selected DNA sequences for targeted genomic and epigenomic modifications. These findings will facilitate research concerning RTL molecular biology and RTL roles in the pathogenicity of Ralstonia spp.

Effect of Salts Stress on the Growth and Yield of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

In order to study the effect of salts stress on the growth and yield of wheat (cv. Inqalab), a pot experiment was conducted in the wire-house of the Department of Soil Science, Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam. The soil was artificially salinized to a range of salinity levels i.e . EC 2.16, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0 and 10.0 dS·m-1 with different salts (MgCl2 + CaCl2 + Na2SO4). The salinized soil used for the experiment was sandy clay in texture, alkaline in reaction (pH > 7.0) and moderate in organic matter (0.95%) content. The results showed that with increasing salinity there was an increase in the ECe, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+ and Cl- and decrease in the K+, SAR and ESP values of the soil Increasing salinity, progressively decreased plant height, spike length, number of spikelets spike-1 1000 grain weight and yield (straw and grain). Adverse effects of salts on plants were associated with the accumulation of less K+ and more Na+ and Cl- in their flag leaf sap, grains and straw. This resulted in lower K+:5Na+ ratio in flag leaf sap, grains and straw of wheat plants. These results indicated that the effects of salts stress were greater at 10 than at 8, 6 and 4 EC dS·m-1.

Correlation and Regression Analysis for Yield Traits in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes

The present research work was carried out at Southern Wheat Research Station, Tandojam during the growing season 2013-14 in order to work out correlation and regression analysis for yield traits in wheat genotypes. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Eight bread wheat genotypes such as Mehran, Sarsabz, TJ-83, SKD-1, Inqlab, A. Sattar, Sehar and Sassui were used to examine correlation and regression. Seven traits, viz.;plant height, tillers plant-1, spike length, spikelet’s spike-1, grains spike-1, seed index and grain yield plant-1 were studied. The analysis of variance revealed significant differences among the genotypes for plant height, tillers plant-1, spike length, spikelet’s spike-1, grains spike-1, seed index and grain yield plant-1. Based on mean performance, variety Sarsabz gave maximum plant height (95.46), produced maximum tillers plant-1 (4.40), gave more grain spike-1 (63.13), TJ-83 gave highest seed index (47.260), and was next ranker in spike length-1 (12.07), spikelet’s spike-1 (19.13), grains spike-1 (59.86), and grain yield plant-1 (9.86) among the genotypes. The phenotypic correlations revealed that tillers plant-1 and grains spike-1 were highly positively associated;hence these yield components can be used as reliable selection criteria to improve grain yield in wheat. Thus estimation of correlation and regression analysis among yield and yield components may provide effective selection criteria to improve wheat grain yield. The results from correlation and regression of plant height indicated significantly positive association with spikelet’s spike-1, tillers plant-1 and grains spike-1 which revealed that increase in plant height will cause corresponding increase in associated traits.
